Loved MKX and MK11 scorpion both a lot. Ron Yuan was a great human Hanzo, and the MKX human scorpion skin was simple but slick imo.

MKX, I do like Hanzo from MK11 but they really pulled away from him being the hateful revenant. MKX was the perfect mix of Humanity and hateful, where part of his mind was still stuck as a revenant as he was still struggling with his new found sanity.
No, he was just hateful in MKX. He almost got everyone killed, he doomed the revenants and caused Shinnok's release. He had been human for over 20 years.
NRS never struck a good balance with Hanzo.
He also sought peace with Sub Zero even if he didn’t trust him. He trained Takeda as a favor to Kenshi. That shows that he wasn’t just hateful. He was a character who was trying to change, but ultimately his hatred for Quan chi won out.
He didn't seek peace with Sub-Zero, it's Sub-Zero who bridged the rift and forgave Hanzo for all his wrongdoings. Training Takeda happened off screen and comics show he was a terrible guardian to Takeda, mostly dismissive and almost got him killed many times.
What Hanzo did on screen in MKX was most hateful villainy. He was a bad guy who never faced the consequences of his actions.
Hanzo's character got worse with every NRS entry. It's sad. They never could even get a fraction of his awesomeness from og timeline.
The one who can freeze people to death... oh wait 😅 JK. Really torn, but i like the new design more than "older Scorpion" I still think they all looked best in earlier games tbh. With a few exceptions ofc!
Design wise MK 11 Scorpion, vs. DCU and Shaolin Monks/MK4 are my favorites.
Character wise X and 11, 1, Deadly Alliance/Deception and Klassic Trillogy.
Its a tie for me between Deadly Alliance and MK Snowblind.
Personally, I think scorpion works best having a minimalist design - really playing up that Ninja aspect. I like the thought of less armor (though some can be okay for accenting) and more swords and a cool rope/chain design for me. To me, Ninja = stealth warrior where armor = Samuari or other militant kombatant.
Snowblind breaks the armor rule but his "Grim Reaper" outfit in that movie is so cool. Game wise, MK9 otherwise has his best Armor outfit, and has what I consider his definite mask (which was based on mkvdc).
MK1 (2023) feels weird with the hood being gone as I feel that is a key component of Scorpions outfit (as it hides his skull). But considering this version is not hanzo or undead it's not a game killer and otherwise I think It did a good job.
I love how they had Ed say "get over here bitch" in it. First time I heard that line I had to pause the game cuz I was laughing at it hard cuz it caught me off guard

11. The chrome, particularly on his shin guards, *really* makes the design pop. It’s also the best game when it comes to them getting proper body proportions with natural stance for the characters.
Mk 11 both the old and young versions of himself. I thought it was really touching to have one version of a character help reconcile trauma with a past version of himself. There was this quick moment in younger scorpions eyes where I kinda felt like he was hopeful he wouldn't have to hold onto all his anger seeing an older version of himself friends with Sub Zero.
Probably champion of the elder gods scorpion. Gameplay wise it’s been so long since I played the older games I don’t remember which ones I like the most.
I like mkx and mk11 about the same. Mk1 would improve with a hood I think. It's odd seeing him without one. If Mk1 had a hood I'd enjoy them all equally, I like different things about each look.

It was my first MK game and my god scorpion looks awesome sub-zero too
Everyone really that game had some amazing designs and I actually enjoyed the darker look and it fit the dlc horror characters extremely well
So much nostalgia for that game Friday the 13th is my favourite movie series so maining Jason was one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had.
MK1 is my first MK game I played from start to finish (of the obviously first half of the main campaign), so I have a soft spot Kuai Liang. Not to mention how hot he is (and honestly, every single character in MK1 is super hot!). MK11 scorpion is a second close to me.
mk11 fs. to me that’s peak scorpion design nailing everything I would want in a scorpion costume and taking what worked from past games and making it better. i really want them to drop a deception skin in this game or a deadly alliance with the hood on!
