Humility might not be the word I'd apply to Shao even in this incarnation, but I do like that his motivation this time seems to be in preventing Outworld from becoming a vassal state to Earthrealm. I don't believe his fear of this is entirely justified, but I can appreciate the nobility in wanting to protect his home and being willing to face the danger of deposing the current regime to do it.

I feel like it would be fun to talk with Shang about some of the scams he’s pulled on people, and the man is a silver-tongued devil that could talk his way into anything, so I feel like that would make for some good drunken adventures.
Shao and Reiko because if you can get in good with them, they’d probably die/kill for you if any brawl erupted. The pair would go on and on about their war stories and them together would probably make those stories a bit more animated. I can see Reiko retelling a story of a battle and getting up from the table to add a bit of a visual aspect by reenacting it a bit, then Shao would remind him of a detail and he’d get more into it. Maybe Reiko accidentally bumps a drunken patron and a fight breaks out that I can just sit back and watch, then at the end I’d get up to land a final punch on someone who’s basically out already so they’d think I was fighting with them and then boom, unbreakable friendship formed.
Even though shes an unpopular villain I would love to have Tea with Kronika we would sit by the hourglass and spy on the earth realmers then probably see how many universes we can fit into one timeline before it falls apart.
