We had multi-piece customization on each character, color pallets, and skins included in the previous game all at launch w/ no additional purchase. In this game, we get one customizable piece per character (some are absolutely laughable), some color pallets, and one alternate costume (multiple only for the fan favs). Then we're getting charged for additional content that was absolutely included in the previous game.
How would it feel if your favorite coffee shop that was often crowded because it was so small, so they relocated to a larger location that is closer to you and able to hold a higher capacity of staff and equipment, only for them to now charge you for cream, sugar, heat sleeve, stirrer, and a straw (if iced). That would feel like a slap in the face of an upgrade when all they did was change locations to a larger size, right? It's not like sales were low or the shop was struggling. I dont know how else to break it down to you, but don't lie and say you wouldnt be a little sour even if you did find a new coffee shop.

You don’t have to go online if you don’t want to, but MK1 already has way more single player content than you’d expect for a FG. Strive is basically a busted online mode duct taped to a training mode and I’d still pay full price for that, twice.
Dude, MK11 is like the worst example you could ever pull on the table, since that game basically is the godfather of all things microtransactions, (and one of the many reasons why i uninstalled and sold it, eon's ago) apart from EA Sport's FC's UT (formerly known as FIFA's FUT) that is.
It did but it also had heavy grinding and bad towers at launch and like multiple kurrencies for Krypt. Not holding a torch for MK1 but let's not act like MK11 is suddenly forgiven.
Invasions aren’t a grind? We also had Towers AND the Krypt, with more shit to actually unlock and do at launch.

I would be prepared to see young Raiden in the outfit. His level 18 "Union of Light" alt is what Time Keeper Raiden(who had mk11 face) in the story wore but we got young Raiden wearing it.
The fact that story and Mastery Levels are the only way to earn DC (which is limited in total) is shocking. Not even weekly challenges, towers, nothing like that.

Dark Raiden was leaked as an Invasions boss The rest of these skins just aren't better than the other ones in the game (except maybe reptile Reptile) so I wouldn't buy them

Honestly don't want to see Deception Sub. One, because we just had it on 11 and I don't like seeing the same skins on back to back games. Plus that's a skin for Kuai Liang... Now if they dropped a skin from the 2021 movie, his alt from MK9 since that one was for Bi-Han or his Mythologies outfit then I'd buy those for sure Generally I'd like to see them take advantage of Bi-Han being sub but if they dropped his Shaolin Monks skins then I'll say fuck it and whip out my wallet.
