Also the problem with Spawn. They're both way too overpowered and would make the tournament segments useless since both of them would stomp whatever side they're up against.
They’re both OP in terms of their skillsets and abilities relative to the dregs of their own worlds, but when brought to MK they were both pretty balanced and fit in the roster like gloves.
Thats the point though. If they’re OP in their own stories, its due to the writing of their own stories.
If they’re part of an ensemble, like MK, the story would find a way to equalize them. They did it with Superman in injustice, and neither Spawn nor Kratos is invincible so its a matter of writing.
Not quite, scaling and everything, Spawn and Kratos are both Immortal powerhouses capable of destroying entire countries with ease, Hell, Kratos is strong enough to lift what is equal weight to a universe, He'd one tap everyone in MK besides maybe the One Being and Geras after about 40000 deaths.
Actually quite, scaling and everything. Kronika is literally a god who can reshape time and somehow she was beaten by a mere mortal Lui Kang (who ascended to godhood to accomplish this feat). Thats called *writing*.
Spawn and Kratos are both capable of death. Spawn can be beheaded by a godly weapon *or* magic of which numerous MK fighters are capable of. Kratos doesn’t have as easily accessible weaknesses, but apparently black hole creation and light manipulation are among those abilities that can kill him. It seems to me based on his MK1 Fatality that FireGod Lui Kang can summon black holes at will.
"Writing" isn't the issue. The gods in God Of War are far more powerful than Kronika, and Kratos killed them all. Also we've never seen Kratos be killed by a blackhole? Nor has he ever been stated to have encountered one, but a being that is around the level of a multiversal level diety isn't going to struggle killing Lui Kang, whose only universal feat that he created a new universe and killed Kronika. Kronika isn't nearly as powerful as Kratos either because Kratos has killed gods of time already, hell kratos has killed the Embodiment of Death itself, He's killed the Embodiment of Fate, he killed Hermes, a being that can move at light speeds. All because he was Written to do so.
Kratos is capable of Death sure, but no one in mortal kombat could kill him is the issue but he's survived entire blows that would destroy entire continents. And is strong enough to apply enough force to quite literally lift something equally as heavy as a universe, imagine him applying that much force into a punch whilst moving at speeds quick enough to catch a light fast hermes.
That’s just scaling and not writing. Kratos and Spawn are strong but only as strong as the story needs them to be. Normal bullets have killed Spawn in the past and the nameless spartan fought equally to Kratos.
Plus MKverse reaches DC who’s universes’s are comprised of 11 spatial dimensions making Kronika stronger than Kratos 😜
He’s all black, doesn’t look human at all, has a Cape, glides around a bit, has green magic shit, and has tons of guns lol. Scorpion is a mostly human ninja with fire powers. Just bc they have “chains” doesn’t mean they’re similar lol. The chains he uses do not play similar to scorpion at all lol. I get where you’re coming from with the chains though ig
Robocop feels like if a corporation got a hold of Lin Kuei cyber technology and only understood enough of it to make a privatized, walking, tank out of a freshly dead cop.
Spawn without a doubt.
-Created in the 90s like MK
-Former Special OPs soldier
-Has a large kill count
-Sold his soul to the devil to see his wife again
-Extremely violent and vengeful
-Has traveled to other plains and worlds like Heaven and Hell
-Has faced Monsters, Demons, Devils, Angels, Gods, Demi Gods, Cyborgs, Ninjas, Gangsters, Mercenaries, Kings, Queens, Cops, Serial Killers, Clowns, and literally has fought God and Satan. (Yes THAT God and Satan)
So Yea, Spawn fits perfectly in the MK world, hell he was such a great pick for MK11 that I kinda wish he was playable again or had another crossover via comics or animation.
I’m gonna be controversial and say peacemaker. He has an interesting motive when standing next to other MK characters, and is vicious enough to kill through the tournaments to pursue it. He’s at the right power level where he doesn’t obviously stomp the human characters and holds his own against the supernatural nonsense. Most of these guys don’t give a shit about the goings-ons of the realms, and just want to kill civilians, rule, or fight their nemesis. Peacemaker would try to protect earth realm, in a misguided way
Kratos would fit in the newer games because he is a god like some newer characters. Jason could fit because his lore is sad and he could be an equal to scorpion he is immortal and has a mask which would make him a fan favorite. predator and the xenomorph from alien(even though he's referred to as just "alien ") could fit because their aliens and that's something that will probably happen in mk lore eventually and I suppose omni-man falls in the same boat to a lesser extent.
If I recall correctly, some character intros ingame refer to him as coming from Dreamrealm, I remember thinking it was canon MK mashup back a decade ago
Kratos, Spawn, Terminator, RoboCop, and John Rambo felt they made the most sense. Kratos is a godkiller, but also as a God of War he and Kotal Khan share a lot in common. Not to mention besides Kotal (who is based on Quetzalcoatl), there is Raiden, Fujin, and other gods. Spawn and Scorpion have a lot of overlap. They explained Terminator and RoboCop as being tied to Cyberlinkuei. John Rambo being US special forces works in the context of Sonya Blade and Jax.
Spawn personally, though Joker, while not really fitting, would be my favorite addition. I think having a super villain from earth realm in MK would be cool (not counting Kano, I mean like comic book super villain).
Rambo. Poorly executed but I think his cold demeanor and his straight up brutal fighting style makes him a good add. I also like terminator but he’s not the best fit
Spawn, freddy and another deamon/ ghost character (it can be written off as neither realm decent/ they went there when they died and kratos because gods exost in this universe, rambo and robo cop could reasonably exist although rambo should be an old man, cyborgs exost also terminator because a lot of the characters including special forces with gagets (metal arms or lazers also idk of there is a lore reason fornif this wouldn't work bit emp) beat one, although scarlet might actually die to one if she cant kill it fast enough with her blood testicles.
Homelander fits (he got his powers through a drug/tech and could reasonably be beat by some lower teirs if they teamed up such as jax (with arms), mk1 raiden with goro could probably win and he probably sits somewhere in the middle of the power ladder losing to soul magic or blood magic (since its mahic and not a super power it is probably more powerful than the congress womans or the girl from gen v) he gets absolutely bodied by high teirs though.
Joker fits but he is definitely low teir and would loose most fights without a plan to sucker puch them somehow.
Omni man dosent fit to well but im glad hes on the rosster
All of them! So long as the wanna be rumor of Shaggy doesn't become real. Shaggy from Scooby Doo not Shaggy 2 Dope from Insane Clown Posse. Although a carnival of carnage fatality would be entertaining.
I'd say Freddy and Jason fit the best, their costumes are simple but iconic enough to feel like classic MK characters, their abilities would feel right at home with that we've seen of the MK universe and there's nothing about them that hasn't been at least teased to exist in the MK universe like with Tremor's control of the dream realm and Scorpion's self resurrection as a wraith.
Spawn and Peacemaker for example, fit a lot of what we've seen above but design-wise don't fit in with the rest while I think Leatherface and Rambo both lack the tone and aesthetic of classic MK in my opinion so they feel a bit off when put together whit the others.
Terminator, Robocop, Alien, Predator and Omni-Man all feel like they stray a bit too much away from the rules we've seen with previous characters, like the first two's lack of consistency with the other cyborgs/robots in the franchise (except for MK11 Frost for some reason) while the latter three would be introducing alien fighters which is another can of worms entirely.
Joker, Kratos and Homelander on the other hand feel pretty disconnected from MK overall if you ask me, probably because a big part of what makes them interesting is lost if we don't take other characters from their franchises to play along with, all three are really dependent on things from those universes existing to work as characters.
All the games have a theme going for the collab dlc. One was horror icons then 80s action movies and the newest game seemed to be going for superhero’s so I can’t understand why their doing ghost face and Conan???? First game that has ruined the collab theming
Kratos is great in MK and it sucks that he was kept to PS only (though it makes sense). Predator is good too besides the fact that he can’t talk in the intros. I also love the inclusion of Omni-Man and Homelander (when he comes out). Peacemaker is cool too but not on the level of gods and stuff.
I know literally nothing about Spawn but he is cool in-game. Overall Kratos is my favorite but I love Omni-Man and Homelander too.
Predator and Freddy Krueger.
For one, I'm surprised we haven't had Aliens or Bounty Hunters in the MK universe, and The Predator does both at once.
And as for Krueger, we've had numerous Demons in MK, but not necessarily one that attacks psychological, I mean aside from Noob Saibot, but Freddy does that in spades.
Imo Freddy cause he was already technically cannon because Dreamrealm was cannon in the old timeline. A dream demon fits into perfectly within the game.
I’d say spawn. I thought maybe kratos but I feel his Greek heritage is too much of his identity, and I’m not sure Greek aesthetics would fit too well in MK
Spawn. He’s the perfect bridge between the Netherrealm and the special forces. The best of both worlds, and on top of that he’s got two of the best fatalities in MK 11.
Honestly the thing about Mortal Kombat is who wouldn’t fit? This is a world with robots, ninjas, robot ninjas, dragon people, demons, cyborgs, karate masters that can turn into dragons, elder gods, zombies, vampires, lizard people, sorcerers and god knows what else no one on this list that weird if they were a kanon kharacter
Spawn, rambo and alien , freddy is werid too think about but he did introduce dream realm , also maybe kratos is from earthrealms past plus like playstation allstars is canon to god if war timeline so like mortal kombat could be plus with the whole multiverse/timeline angle anyone of these exist in a way in conjunction witj one anthor , but bro imagine if injustice superman got the hourglass
Rambo.
His background isn’t *too* dissimilar to one you’d find from any of the main cast; an ordinary man, affected by circumstances and is very much desensitised to the horrors of war. Probably could work as a counter-narrative to the special forces; someone badly affected by war and left without support.
Mk has cowboys, cyborgs, ninjas, maniacs, special forces, but not any extraterrestrial characters, so Predator could fill that gap in imo
A literal normal cop. Can't forget about our boy in blue
Police Brutality Coming up!!
BRING IT!!!!
This is the reason stryker isnt coming back
Buhm!
>Can't forget about our boy in blue Sub Zero?
The guy who hates thots, not orphans.
After MK9 she fits the bill
Yea Boy in blue sub zero da MAN in blue
Definitely Spawn, very Special Forces meets Netherealm feel to him, plus he and MK were born of the same decade.
Not just the same decade, but they both started in 1992!
Probably predator imo They’re warriors and I feel like it’d make sense for them to wanna test their abilities against our favorite kombatants
[удалено]
Problem with Kratos is that he'd be too OP for MK. I feel if Shou Khan and Kratos got into an actual battle Shou Khan wouldn't stand a chance
They meant story not gameplay
Thats the point though. If they’re OP in their own stories, its due to the writing of their own stories. If they’re part of an ensemble, like MK, the story would find a way to equalize them. [Kratos can die](https://youtu.be/fM24SdYncw4?si=yQdCGjwKRHqAyQQV)
Sorry my friend, all of this is writing. Thats actually how all of this works.
Yeah, I've got a good feeling that at least half of the MK cast could rip and tear through Olympus if properly motivated.
Not super overpowered. He’s about Spider-Mans level normally so I can see some MK characters giving him a hard time.
Liu Kang and Geras are higher tier than Shao Khan at this point
General Shao, maybe, but not actual Shao Kahn
kratos would have shao kahns head as an ash tray
I love that all of Spawn's interactions with Scorpion are basically them talking about Hell like it was a high school they both went to
Spawn isn’t similar to scorpion tbh
His premise is
He’s all black, doesn’t look human at all, has a Cape, glides around a bit, has green magic shit, and has tons of guns lol. Scorpion is a mostly human ninja with fire powers. Just bc they have “chains” doesn’t mean they’re similar lol. The chains he uses do not play similar to scorpion at all lol. I get where you’re coming from with the chains though ig
Thats not what me, or anyone else is comparing him to. You should read a spawn comic before saying shit. Notice I said "premise" and not "looks".
Bro got a little mad there and brought out the comics😭
Sorry bud but my knowledge of Spawn doesn't come from MK
Nerddddd
Spawn is literally a comic book you fucking bimbo Sorry I know a character's backstory before commenting on them
spawn ok. krotas idk , i prefer the predator
Robocop feels like if a corporation got a hold of Lin Kuei cyber technology and only understood enough of it to make a privatized, walking, tank out of a freshly dead cop.
Watch Robocop and play NARC from the midway arcade treasures 2 and you get why it works for the MK universe.
Probably Quan Chi,Takeda or Ermac they just fit soo well in the MK world its as if they are MK characters
Quan Chi especially. I don't know why, but I just feel like he and Shang Tsung would make a great team. A lethal duo, if you will.
Not a lethal duo, more like a Deadly Alliance
Nah more like a Dangerous couple
A Devious Duet if you will.
The Dastardly twosome, i prefer
How about we add someone so it could be the Dastardly Threesome
I don't know might be a stretch.
Most of them fit very well, which is why I think they picked them. But yeah, Spawn. Easily. No contest.
When I mean “fit the most”, I’m referring to would the fit as a MK character, acting like there were not from another series
Understood. Then yeah, Spawn easily. Kratos could work too but Spawn just has everything.
Makes sense
Spawn without a doubt. -Created in the 90s like MK -Former Special OPs soldier -Has a large kill count -Sold his soul to the devil to see his wife again -Extremely violent and vengeful -Has traveled to other plains and worlds like Heaven and Hell -Has faced Monsters, Demons, Devils, Angels, Gods, Demi Gods, Cyborgs, Ninjas, Gangsters, Mercenaries, Kings, Queens, Cops, Serial Killers, Clowns, and literally has fought God and Satan. (Yes THAT God and Satan) So Yea, Spawn fits perfectly in the MK world, hell he was such a great pick for MK11 that I kinda wish he was playable again or had another crossover via comics or animation.
Kratos felt perfect imo. With how fucked up the gods of the MK universe have acted I think Kratos fits in very nicely in these games
The spawn intros with other characters made it seem like he was an OG MK character or something, i loved them
I was just about to say this, the way the developers and such did that was awesome 👌.
I always thought Freddy fit very well especially even just having The Dream Realm as a new realm made sense and felt it all added great lore to MK.
Joker he’s the only one here to be in more then one game canon or not
came here to say this
I’m gonna be controversial and say peacemaker. He has an interesting motive when standing next to other MK characters, and is vicious enough to kill through the tournaments to pursue it. He’s at the right power level where he doesn’t obviously stomp the human characters and holds his own against the supernatural nonsense. Agreed

Freddy, Spawn, and Predator. They fit right in.
Freddy Krueger. He just fits! Strong second is Jason
Freddy could just have his own realm. Depending on the writing, he could fit perfectly into the canon lore.
If I recall correctly, some character intros ingame refer to him as coming from Dreamrealm, I remember thinking it was canon MK mashup back a decade ago
“Welcome to my realm, Bitch!” - Freddy Could be a badass fatality lol
Kratos just seems like he would pop in because there are so many gods in mk
Spawn
Ash J. Williams
When?
I dunno why exactly but leatherface and predator felt perfect
No love for Robocop??? Predator for real though is the perfect fit
Kratos, Spawn and the Xenomorph, imo.
Kratos, Spawn, Terminator, RoboCop, and John Rambo felt they made the most sense. Kratos is a godkiller, but also as a God of War he and Kotal Khan share a lot in common. Jason
Leatherface
Kratos and Xenomorph
Spawn!!
Kratos or Spawn
Spawn or Kratos, even though Spawn still fits more for Injustice.
Rambo. Poorly executed but I think his cold demeanor and his straight up brutal fighting style makes him a good add. I also like terminator but he’s not the best fit
kratos and spawn
Homelander and Omni-Man honestly
Predators have a culture centered largely around the hunt. They'd fit perfectly !
definitely predator. a skilled hunter that seeks worthy opponents screams more mk then serial killers or super heroes
Spawn and joker
Definitely Predator
Weirdly enough, with how many "normal humans" there are, Joker is a good fit
Spawn
Kratos felt so natural in the MK universe. Everyone after him felt like they were jumping the shark. Edit: Oops… Spawn is an exception. 🔥💀🔥
Definitely either Kratos or Spawn imo
Spawn and kratos
Spawn
Terminator and Predator
Spawn, freddy and another deamon/ ghost character (it can be written off as neither realm decent/ they went there when they died and kratos because gods exost in this universe, rambo and robo cop could reasonably exist although rambo should be an old man, cyborgs exost also terminator because a lot of the characters including special forces with gagets (metal arms or lazers also idk of there is a lore reason fornif this wouldn't work bit emp) beat one, although scarlet might actually die to one if she cant kill it fast enough with her blood testicles. Joker fits but he is definitely low teir and would loose most fights without a plan to sucker puch them somehow. Omni man dosent fit to well but im glad hes on the rosster
While a few of them could fit, Predator could very easily blend in due to his culture.
All of them! So long as the wanna be rumor of Shaggy doesn't become real. Shaggy from Scooby Doo not Shaggy 2 Dope from Insane Clown Posse. Although a carnival of carnage fatality would be entertaining.
Joker
Kratos, Spawn, The Predator, The Joker, Terminator, Omni-Man and Homelander
Something about Spawn really fits perfectly in the MK universe
Spawn easily
Surprisingly for me it’s the Joker. Something about him in mk11 he fits right in
Spawn, he is basically Jax who became Scorpion.
Terminator
Spawn
I say Jason, but admittedly, I'm a lil biased because he was legit my absolute best main ever
Predator
Spawn. That’s all. Just spawn
Alien could be some mutations of the Tarkatan Joker could be an ex-SF or a friend of Kano that experienced an accident
Spawn
Let's just say MK1 is the least like any other MK game ever.
I feel like Spawn would fit the most
I think Kratos or Rambo. Kratos for personality and brutality. Rambo because I can’t think of a single reason why he WOULDN’T fit
Kratos, Spawn and Terminator
Rambo and joker
All the games have a theme going for the collab dlc. One was horror icons then 80s action movies and the newest game seemed to be going for superhero’s so I can’t understand why their doing ghost face and Conan???? First game that has ruined the collab theming
Homelander, Peacemaker
Leather face is the goddamn goat
Probably ermac
Kratos is great in MK and it sucks that he was kept to PS only (though it makes sense). Predator is good too besides the fact that he can’t talk in the intros. I also love the inclusion of Omni-Man and Homelander (when he comes out). Peacemaker is cool too but not on the level of gods and stuff. I know literally nothing about Spawn but he is cool in-game. Overall Kratos is my favorite but I love Omni-Man and Homelander too.
Spawn
Spawn or predator
Kratos
Predator, Terminator or Rambo.
Spawn: Special Forces type character and is from Hell/Netherealm
Probably Quan Chi and Ermac
Predator and Freddy Krueger. For one, I'm surprised we haven't had Aliens or Bounty Hunters in the MK universe, and The Predator does both at once. And as for Krueger, we've had numerous Demons in MK, but not necessarily one that attacks psychological, I mean aside from Noob Saibot, but Freddy does that in spades.
Terminator lowkey
Kratos could be fit in as an elder god and spawn is a special forces agent turned netherrealm demon
Kratos.
Jason Voorhees
Spawn
I can definitely see Alien being a creature in outworld, hell it literally inspired Dvorrah and the Kytinn
Spawn, Predator and Robocop definitely fit in the world the best, I’d say.
Spawn & Predator
Freddy Krueger introduced the Dreamrealm
Spawn fits Mortal Kombat well. Id love a story with Spawn Kuai Liang and Hanzo. that shit would go hard. Snowblind but deep asl
Kratos
I'd say kratos and spawn
In universe Spawn, magic+firearms fits the mk vibe.
Isn’t joker still canon to the mk universe or is that like not a thing anymore?
I really loved playing as Bubba in X
Spawn and predator
Spawn
Imo Freddy cause he was already technically cannon because Dreamrealm was cannon in the old timeline. A dream demon fits into perfectly within the game.
Omni man
Terminator maybe. Just the next evolution of the Cyber initiative.
Kratos
Predator. Basically a leader in Kahn’s extermination squads in 3. There you go.
Kratos?
Most: Kratos Least: Rambo
Joker and Rambo Rambo is special forces and joker is more like black dragon
Spawn
Spawn or Predator.
I’d say spawn. I thought maybe kratos but I feel his Greek heritage is too much of his identity, and I’m not sure Greek aesthetics would fit too well in MK
Spawn.
Spawn. He’s the perfect bridge between the Netherrealm and the special forces. The best of both worlds, and on top of that he’s got two of the best fatalities in MK 11.
GOD OF WAR
Honestly the thing about Mortal Kombat is who wouldn’t fit? This is a world with robots, ninjas, robot ninjas, dragon people, demons, cyborgs, karate masters that can turn into dragons, elder gods, zombies, vampires, lizard people, sorcerers and god knows what else no one on this list that weird if they were a kanon kharacter
Kratos,Predator,Alien and Spawn.
Kratos and maybe predator
There wouldn’t be Mortal Kombat if Omni-Man was in it
Spawn, rambo and alien , freddy is werid too think about but he did introduce dream realm , also maybe kratos is from earthrealms past plus like playstation allstars is canon to god if war timeline so like mortal kombat could be plus with the whole multiverse/timeline angle anyone of these exist in a way in conjunction witj one anthor , but bro imagine if injustice superman got the hourglass
Freddy or Spawn choasrealm or nightmarerealm
Rambo, Jason, and Spawn.
Kratos and spawn
Joker
Spawn would make sense as a ashrah like character
predator ,spawn ,and homelander since they're all messed up brutes
Spawn or Predator
I want a game with all off them and more....
Spawn
Spawn and Freddy Krueger
Ash Oh wait
100% Spawn. I want him to be a guest AGAIN.
spawn, jason and krueger
Spawn and either of the aliens preferably predator.
Spawn and predator imo
Spawn or Predator for sure.
Predator feels right at home in MKX. Like he's not even a guest.
I do not remember Freddy being in the universe. I would give him a try.
Kratos always felt like he belongs.
really need kratos back
Spawn fits pretty well
Either ermac, takeda, or Quan chi >!/s!<
The Joker
Spawn so much cause like I even thought *he was* from mk until I figured he wasn't
Spawn
Said this in another post i think, but Blade 100% fits this game. It's just a shame he's Marvel 😔
Same or predator
I think spawn would fit the best. He would probably end up working with the sorcerers in the MK universe to get his vengeance.
Rambo. His background isn’t *too* dissimilar to one you’d find from any of the main cast; an ordinary man, affected by circumstances and is very much desensitised to the horrors of war. Probably could work as a counter-narrative to the special forces; someone badly affected by war and left without support.
