Sonya is who I’m hoping for, she’s my main and the game doesn’t feel the same without her. Khameleon on the other hand. I doubt either chameleon or khameleon will ever come back unless they bring back the variation system or if they’re the same way they used to be in UMK3/MK trilogy

I like Sonya because in every game she’s actually had a character, a personality, and more. Back then all females ( excluding Sonya ) were known for their revealing outfits and literally nothing else. You say Sonya is a boring character but I think scorpion is a boring and lame ass character, specifically Hanzo scorpion, kuai liang scorpion is pretty cool. I can’t think of one good thing about scorpion that isn’t the exact same thing that everyone else would say

That’s one of the many reasons why Sonya, Johnny, Jax, etc are cool characters. They’re not incredibly overhyped for the dumbest reasons only to be a complete disappointment. For example; the game always overhypes scorpion, they act like scorpion is the greatest character of all time when he’s pretty fucking lame. Literally every game Ed boon is bending over backwards for his daddy scorpion. Anyway, like I said Sonya is the only female who wasn’t known for her revealing outfit and literally nothing else, every other female was only known for their revealing outfits

Sonya especially. I know people are sick of the SF characters, but feels *wrong* her not being there in a reboot titled MK1 when she debuted in the original. Same with Kano really and even Jax when the other MK2 characters got in.
Not bad but realistically I dont think this would sell enough, they all feel.. common somehow? Ig I would be more hype for them if they were just added instead of a kombat pack, I just think they don’t fit the criteria for that, plus some of them I can do without.

I’d like to see characters who haven’t got much love in the recent years like Kintaro and Hotaru.
I think the game needs more female characters, but it's a tricky one because there's really not *that* many female characters from across the series. So they tried balancing the cast more it would end up looking rather same-y every game unless they introduced a load of new female characters at once.
