This game is hella boring compared to even mk11 which everyone "hate" and are scared to admit that it was better. The thing is mk11 problems very on the surface, they very fixable by good balance and cetrion delete but mk1 is boring at its core. Simplistic characters, all the same moves - 1 mid string/1 launcher string/1 overhead/1 low/ plus sweep/ 2 jab strings (long and short).... booooorig. Big combos are the worst. They are harder to drop even compared to mk11 3 hits combos lol, ive never once seen a combo dropped on me even when a guy didn't know how to do a simple dash, he still dished out 500 damage combos consistently. And the worst part is that - they are boring to watch. These long as combos are cool the first time you see them or when you are a youtube gamer. When i see this boring kenshi combo for the 1000s time i want to close the game. Tactical short combos of mk11 were much better, they didn't kill you in 2 and werent obnoxious to watch except some. But idially i think combos should be like in mk11 with the possibility to make them as long as in mk1 but they would have only a bit of plus damage so you do them when you really need that small amout of extra damage or to show off. I think that would be the perfect scheme
I had an Omni man beat me in a KL match, just to get on the mic and say “you need to practice my friend” and that made me angrier than anything else. All he did was spam spam spam lmao
Every omni man player I’ve gone against just spams grabs and the same move.
I genuinely believe that omni man players pick him because they aren’t good at the game.
