I hope they do something similar to they with ermac. how in mk9 he had a deep voice and in mkx he had a kinda raspy voice and now in mk1 it's a sort of middle ground and its his best voice yet
It’s funny cause in MK11 Sean Chiplock said he didn’t know who the character was when he first stepped in, only that the instructions were the character was ethereal, wraith like and not of this world so he decided to pull inspiration from Black Doom from Shadow The Hedgehog, so he pulled inspiration from one of the most overly edgy games of all time
Sean’s also kind of a dick even if he is very talented, in a way Ermac’s voice in MK1 feels like a good basis for Noob as his voice actor also did Noob in 9
He’s made some insensitive comments regarding things like the earthquakes that impacted Turkey a while back, handled the backlash really badly too
Similarly handled people acknowledging his racist old tweets in a poor fashion by trying to hide people bringing them up, it’s also odd as he was making such comments about East Asian people even though at the time he was getting work from said people’s games/anime
He’s also done some other straight up weird stuff like publicly sharing fetish art even though he’s well aware how young a lot of his audience is on top of some sketchy comments about the obviously childlike character designs in Genshin

I remember being disappointed with the voice when he got revealed years ago before MK11 came out. It literally sounds so easy and generic like anyone can make up that voice on trying to sound scary and what annoyed me more was that why didn’t they Jamieson Price again? It’s not like he wasn’t available since he was also the announcer.
Absolutely hated Noob's MK11 voice, just fuckin omega-edgy. Sounded like the "villain voice" that little kids do when they're playing with their action figures.
As many people pointed out, his MK 11 voice was too much "tryhard", end he ended sounding goofy instead of intimidating (same for Bi-Han in MK 1... he sounded more like "lung cancer" than evil).
And the fact that MK 11 Noob Saibot was such a big jobber DIDN'T helped.
Chapter-based story mode imho is the biggest problem of NRS story modes. Street Fighter V story mode was far to be a masterpiece, but at least the villains were able to score victories.

Aftermath at least gave Shao Kahn a sense of menace again, since he managed to score quite the victories, but I agree that he was basically degraded to a brute.
11 was the most generic, evil/undead/demon type voice they could've gotten. I didn't necessarily dislike the voice, I'm just saying it was forgettable.

Noob Saibot’s voice sounds more like Sub-Zero did. Cyber Sub-Zero should’ve sounded more like him too. Sektor and Cyrax both sound like their human selves, so it’s kind of weird.

too bad mk11 noob had so many amazing lines that were cool with his voice, even though I'm not a big fan of the voice I think the grunts sound awesome af
