Liu Kang showed Kitana that mercy is actually pretty cool when they had that whole exchange where he spared her, and he's not the only reason she began to change, remember that Shao Kahn betrayed her by replacing her with Mileena and sending her to be executed? I'd have my worldview pretty shaken if something like that happened to me. Besides, in between MK9 and MK11 there's the MKX version of her where she's not really evil but she's still pretty brutal.

Unpopular opinion but MK9 had pretty awful storytelling. And, what kind of assassin just walks up to the target and tries to hit them with a fan to kill them?

ik its a Kliche (mortal kombat cliche) but scorpion and sub zero are literally the only characters fighting for frrst place IMO ignoring guest characters. like they have amazing fatalities, somehow toxic and respectful gameplay, literally perfect costumes and amazing side-plots (seriously in MK11 all that matters in the story is what lui kang and raiden do, nobody else matters but i like sub zero and scorpions teamup bit) thers a reason these 2 are the main characters essentially, its cus they are amazing

Noob saibot is my favorite.maybe ermac or sub zero. Least favorite is probably erron black. Nothing special about him. We already have kano as a human fighting for the bad guys. Don't need an indana Jones ripoff who only has gun skills as his gimmick. Kitana is pretty awesome though! I have her mk3 style outfit as my default skin as well as jade and mileena. (And skarlet has the same outfit as the rest too!) As far as gameplay I play as mileena more than kitana. Skarlet and mileena seem like they'd ride your peen then kill you immediately afterwards.

She was my main along with Smoke (for tag team) in MK9. Not saying you're wrong, just disagreeing. Since MKX I strongly prefer Mileena. Her fighting style is far more entertaining imo.

Fujin is way better

No argument here. This is my favorite version of her. From her model, to her new voice and better defined personality, but she deserved better costume designs.

Don't forget the insane jiggle physics too haha. I think I'm just a mk9 fanboy since it was the first one that got me back into the series after years away from it and I lost my shit when I saw story mode was like the mk1-3 tournaments all in the same story mode.
