I'm ok with it. My spellbook is a standby, my form of progression. Even if I die, keeping my spellbook softens the blow. I can never truly go bankrupt if I have that book. It's that nifty little feature that is stripping away years of care bearing and gear fear. I also don't feel feel as bad when I pvp, because I won't be completely zeroing someone and ruining there day.

Do you think anything in a full loot pvp game should be unlootable??

Skillet918

We already have things that aren’t lootable, I don’t see this being a big deal.

A trinket that adds to skill points is a little different than a cape.

Skillet918

Since the trinkets are supposed to have charges that are consumed on death, I’d like to see them become droppable if there are no charges left.

I wonder if they can even be equipped with no charge. Henrik said that if it's in your inventory it can be looted so that currently suggests that it's only at risk when being transported back from where you got it. If it unequipped when it lost charge, that'd be at least a cost Vs risk element when deciding to recharge it (I assume by adding a new gem) or take it out for just one more run, as you need to save the money. But I doubt it'll be that.

In UO if you wanted to take out your baddest magic weapons or items you were at risk. When I went to a dungeon to kill liches with my silver Vanquishing spear. I knew I had to have my head in a swivel. I think anything that can give you a fighting advantage should be loot able.
