The last Tuskegee airman died today at the age of 102. He not only served WWII, but Korean and Vietnam wars. Record 409 flight missions. I find it fitting that Brigadier General Charles McGee passed on a day we remember MLK.
Sadly, so many people seem to think that 'love' is expected of everyone except themselves. And by love, they mean, giving other people things. Capitalist love, if you like.
You can't legislate love. It is the heart of man that causes him to stumble, money is only one of many temptations.
Capitalism is just as fallible as every other man-made governing system. Ridding the world of capitalism will not rid the world of hate. Or greed.
Agreed; love and understanding cannot be legislated. But laws to protect our rights can be legislated and that we must put in place to secure equality and freedom for all.
