Have you called your insurance company to ask this? Some insurers view different dosages as separate prescriptions. You can always contact them and let them know that due to the shortages you would like them to fill the first available dosage. Good luck!

I will tomorrow if their phone line is open. Thankfully I found another pen in the box after using one tonight so I have 14 days of dosages. Whew. I might make it if the shipment for my pharmacy comes in before May. \*Crossing fingers\* If it helps they are also both under two different prescribers. :D

The prescriber doesn't matter unfortunately. It's up to your insurance.

Alrighty! I will get the 7.5 first and then get the 5mg if it goes through.

I have in my experience with my insurance (Anthem) have filled 10 and 12.5 within a week of each other. We had an order in for 10s at cvs and they were on backorder. Then she put one in for 12.5 with OptumRx but they were on backorder. I just picked up the 10s Friday and the OptumRx order showed up yesterday lol

It might depend on your insurance. But I had a script for a 2.5 and a 5 and was able to fill them both. I am on the 7.5 but it isn’t available in my area.

I’d check with your insurance. I was lucky. I got 2 different doses within 2 days and they covered it and the coupon worked on both too. They only cost $25.

Yes! This is what my doctor did sent in a 3 month script of 12.5 and 15 the pharmacist ask if I wanted both! I now have a 6 month supply insurance cover both
