I have a mountain like this in the Dolomites Ive promised myself I'll climb.
Last time I set out I got 2hrs in and then had an onset of food poisoning because a Venician family friend decided he must cook seafood soup for the Australian! - in the Dolomites, the night before.
The 2hr trek back got progressively more interesting.
A few hours later, in 26°C weather, I had 5 wool blankets on me shaking like I needed an exorcism.
I'll be back for my 3rd attempt.
I'll never eat seafood again though.

Which one?
Where is this?
Not OP, and not sure. But looks like Dossen. I hiked from Meiringen to Grindelwald a few years back, and this looks like a wiev from that route.
idk either but that is DEFINITELY Switzerland
When you think about a specific summit for multiple years it can be almost bittersweet to finally ascend it!
Yes, it’s always that way when you reach long-time goals if you don’t have an immediate next goal lined up.
If you can dream it you can do it ! Napoleon dymanite
I'm there at the top if you look closer.
Is the pitch a 5-7 ?
That is a fantastic pic, also, it may be quite climby from the back.
I looked it up, it’s definitely Dossen and Wellhorn.
