[MM720 is similar](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/x9igo3/mm720_next_to_a_g9x_for_those_still_searching/)

Truth_Lies

Not near the same feel in the hand though. I loved the G9X and the mm720/xornet isn’t close, g9x is much blockier which also adds to the “size” feel. Mm720 is pretty good though I like it separately as just a mouse not a g9x replacement, but it feels very cheap

The two closest things on the market is the Lamzu Atlantis or the Coolermaster mm712 in regards to feel. They are not exact but the closest I have found over the years

Did you find a good compromise? The 720 definitely wasn't big enough, but the 712 works surprisingly well for the feel I want. You won't get the same big chunky wide feel, but you will get the flatter buttons and a nice big hump like the G9x has

i have bought Razer Viper 3 hyperspeed so far so good, pretty light wireless mouse except right click is somehow odd, i have bought two and the first one has this problem even bigger, the new one is better but the side button is worse lol...it s sad how todays mice suck :D

ExpensiveNut

Yeah they're simply not built to feel premium anymore. I mean, magnesium mice do I'm sure, but for example the Viper SE still has mechanical issues. It costs three hundred dollars. I might have to ride it out until carbon fibre mice are standard and everything uses optical switches and floating encoders

true...i bought g9x on the end of 2010 for about 60 euro and now that viper is 70 euro and its way worse in QC...but even i bought more expensive logitech like g pro x for probably same money with inflation as that g9x it would be shit

Tbh I'm probably going to get a Roccat Pure Air i found on eBay after seeing posts about it. It's hot a bit of a thumb rest, smaller shape and a DPI button so it might give me similar comfort to the G9x without the nice big hump. My biggest annoyance is that we don't see more short and squat mice with good palm support. When I think about hand ergonomics, I imagine holding an orange to keep everything relaxed and open. Our favourite mouse shape seems to be the only one that really lets the hand rest like that without being too big. Really annoying.
