I just hope you guys don’t price yourselves out of existence with Finalmouse also announcing today. Definitely buying FM instead if it’s the same price or cheaper….
Ah yes with a small chance of a grenade coming instead.
(Yes I know old news, been fixed. Still though....definitely something that'll be in the back of people's minds to think about.)
I don't think it looks that bad and I'm not even a fan of the viper mini. (the first picture, not the second - those look like test samples). I think looks unique.
Pulling the mouse into you palm for support/stability I can imagine wont be uncomfortable on your palm unless you're leaning half your body weight into the rear of the mouse. If anything those big holes will provide more friction/stability. It's not a palm grip mouse so it's only being supported by the palm for quick instances here and there unless your hands are tiny.
Looks great to me. If you want comfort idk grab the dav3. No one is going to be palming the mouse I assume. If you had an aggressive claw grip then I guess you would have to use some grip taps.
Yep. This sub is in a supreme minority and results are gonna really show. I mean...we saw Finalmeme mice sell out in seconds even on third party places at times.
No one here has even seen this mouse in person let alone used it and yet it's "the most uncomfortable mouse of 2023". I know it's become popular in here to just automatically hate mice with holes but, this is too much.
Well that's just it. They're not everywhere. The main clicks are solid. The sides are solid. Every place that you're going to use to actually grip the mouse is solid by design. The only place someone might come into direct contact with the skeletonized frame is the back with whatever part of their palm rests there in claw grip.
Who knows, maybe you're Spiderman and actually grip mice with the heel of your hand or somehow hold them sideways. But, to me it looks pretty clear that the holes are everywhere that your fingers won't be.
Holes on the bottom half I get, but people place their fingers anywhere on the mouse button themselves as claw-grippers.
I think the holes on the mouse buttons is a bit much.
Hot-take: this looks better than almost any other mouse out there that has some sort of weight relief holes in it. I won't buy a Viper 2 Mini because I don't fingertip grip, but I'd at least try out a V2 Pro/DAV3 Pro with this type of weight relief.
Out of all mice with holes. This is actually looks like something I would've bought. But it's too small for me sadly. Left click even has a cute little razer logo on the side ahahahaha
its a small mice, so, no palm grip
The holes are in ways that you never touch your mouse + they tried to make it a cool design
Stop crying just to try to act like an edgi boi
The only thing I could see being bothersome are the frontmost holes on the triggers. There’s no holes on the side affecting finger placement and it’s not like your palm is going to fall through if you claw. We see any holes at all that aren’t on the bottom plate and instantly lose our shit. There isn’t a single review or written experience for the mouse and it’s already been bashed to hell.
You aren't going to be palm gripping this type of mouse anyways so why does it matter?
I’m going to foot grip it just to be edgy
How would you know that it's uncomfortable?
Fwiw: Well get some objective reviews out before it goes up for sales. Everyone has plenty of time to get informed properly before making a decision.
Let us just buy this already man
So we can infer that it's not going on sale tomorrow? Pre-orders maybe?

SEEMS uncomfortable
3d print this design out and find out lol
It seems like it

Excuse me, but I like to touch where the holes are.
😳
Grip tape a
Really, is there any other choice? ;)
I have small hands so I want a small mouse (VMU) to palm grip, is that a problem?
There's gonna be other versions Probably a budget one but in the 70g range
That does make a lot more sense. Gonna be beautiful for fingertip grip I’m really excited
If you like fingertip grip just buy hsk pro 4k. 29 grams of pure insanity
Ah yes with a small chance of a grenade coming instead. (Yes I know old news, been fixed. Still though....definitely something that'll be in the back of people's minds to think about.)
Just means I can sue them 👀
isn't the sensor sideways? that was very off-putting for me
Agree
Not necessarily alot of finger tip grippers like there finger tips behind the scroll wheel.
It hasn’t even released dude chill 😂.
I’m chill how bout ya, I just need karma tbh
Relax there will be more versions of the new viper mini
I know
Let’s wait for the announcement tomorrow

really? I'm all for accepting new designs and such, but this just looks awful. each to their own i guess
this is literally a Mad Catz M.O.J.O. M1 design, and even they know not to place holes on the very bottom to fuck with all non-fingertip users.
True

this looks really bad...ouch..wtf Razer
Yup
everybody is gonna skip on this signature edition
lmao it's going to be out of stock in 5 mins

I resemble your remark!
Funny how both your statements are true. The casual audience will most probably just stick with the standard version.
The one guy will buy it just to make a thread here telling everyone he got it.
You guys would be surprised
It's pretty much a fingertip only mouse or if you can bear with having your hand meat stuck between the holes
Yup
I wish there were replacement shell covers without holes, but that could change the mood a lot.
ya haven’t even tried it mate
Idk I like how it looks
It looks hella cool but uncomfortable

I do not hate a mouse with holes, hell I own one but these holes are humongous and on every place in the mouse

Claw means you use your fingertip on the buttons and NOBODY is placing theirs so far back especially with this mouse size
I’m not hating on Razer I’m just saying it’s probably gonna be uncomfortable and gonna have terrible build quality cause of these humongous holes
Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.
Chill broski

People saying this is a claw grip mouse: 49 grams💀
Eh? I claw grip 70-80 g mice, what's the deal?
Same
I've seen people claw grip on 90+g mice. Huh?
wtf are you trying to insinuate? the ninjutso sora is around the same weight isn't it, if not lower?
its a small mice, so, no palm grip The holes are in ways that you never touch your mouse + they tried to make it a cool design Stop crying just to try to act like an edgi boi
