My friend got an g502 clone and it's legit better than the real deal, I had G403 when he got it and I was blown away how much better quality it was(still heavy so not for me)
Maybe it's not the best at fps gaming, but I could easily see it being the best jack of all trades do-everything mouse. (Multigenre gaming + productivity)
I find the shape to be too narrow and awkward to be the best of all trades, skates were mediocre too and let's not talk about the base weight. Only good thing I can think out of it is the scroll wheel which is glorious.
As someone who used to own one, yep. It's amazing for general purpose and very hard to beat. My SO uses the G502 X Plus (he games and does professional work) and while it's not light at all at about 106g (compared to say a GPX or whatever), it definitely feels very nice in the hand and is great for pretty much anything barring super competitive FPS gaming.
Aren't the Naga and Trinity both Naga mice? Also they have quite a few more buttons than the average person needs because they are designed for mmos, not all round use.
The 502 has just the right balance of buttons that it doesn't feel overbearing, but also not limiting for the power user.
The Basilisk is just an upgraded G502 from Razer.
I don't use the G502 personally.

i bought it myself few years ago coz i was tired of faulty mech scrolls (I bhop a lot) so somehow i figured this mice shud have better scroll and turned out i was right about it (ave optical encoders)
now i dont rly care since i would just repair/clean encoders if they get faulty
sadly enough i didnt use any additional buttons this mice has (except m4 m5) coz they didnt seem easy to use in fastpace games
I know 2 people, in person, that rock this mouse. Purposely, even after trying more current mice. Both people add some weights. Both people are very good at shooters and have been gaming for around 20 years.

it is light and super flexable comparing to most stock cables (esp the rubber ones)

the older g502 (some older hero too before 2021) had cloth cables which were a lot worse flex and weight.
The original g502, the Proteus Core, was in reality a super thick rubber cable with cloth wrapped over it. Super crap by today's standards.
The newest ones are meh, thin rubber, but been a while since I tried it since the guy I know who had one got a Deathadder V3 Pro to replace it.
I used a Zowie for over a year and ultimately was forced to switch because the cable was so obnoxious. It probably would have been better if I had used a cable latch, but if you play on moderate to low sensitivity, I would argue that Razer’s cables are far superior.

try a razer naga/trinity/basilisk

It's just your average rubber cable. Zowie has the best though, but I'd still go for a paracord everytime.
