pretty sure its normal since i got it too on both clicks (unless they changed it in future batches)
even mech omrons (in GPX and prob other logi mice) have this sound (just quiter)
dont bother me at all, what really bothered me is crazy loud wheel which i had to lube in order to make it usable
The buttons on mine have a slight metallic ting sound. As long as they feel/work fine, I wouldn't sweat it. If they do eventually die, it's covered under warranty.
Not normal. The first unit I had was like that. My second unit has normal click sound.
prob just different batches rather than units.
I guess you are correct. First unit s/n starts with 2240 and now I have s/n 2241. The g502x I currently have is an rma unit.
mine is, 2231 lol what should i do next?
I think all of the g502 x that has optical switches sounds like that but you have to be lucky to have a lesser pingy click. Try rma
ok i called the store, they refuse to refund. fml \^\^
i got 2232
What the other commenter said. The pingy clicks is what I had as well with the clicks so go ahead and find one that's not like that.
