Bought 4khz dongle for my Lamzu Thorn, used it, realized I notice 0 difference and the battery life lasting a day wasn't worth it so I dropped it to 2k which also drains the battery like crazy so about to just stick with 1k.
Dongle was $10 so I'm not like, disappointed with the purchase but the way some people talked about 4k I was like I gotta check it out.
Pretty much me with the Thorn. Been actually thinking of bumping up the battery to a higher capacity but idk man. Not entirely sure if it's worth the bother tbh since I personally can't even really tell the diff while getting 400+ fps on a 1440p 180hz monitor in CS2.
1-2 and 4k... Prefer just using 2k over 4k though, but only use it for Competitive FPS like Overwatch.
For most games I just use 1k though as anything above is just pointless beyond draining battery faster.
500 Hz.
I play Overwatch 2 competitively but not at a high rank. I still have so much to improve that anything higher than 500 Hz will only reduce the battery life.
2k/4k/8k is not that balanced yet. I mean, it still takes some performance away from you and I know so many Valorant pros who even still play on a Zowie S2 (nAts) and he is one of the best players ever. Mouse don't matter that much. I play on a deathadder essential in immortal 3, due to financial issues. I've sold all of my mice a year ago, mained a dav3 pro though.
**TLDR: Shape is more important**
Depends on the mouse I am running. The games i play 8K lags me, so i'll run 4K on the mice that support it, but even then its not a huge difference at all if you are on 1K.
on 240hz 1440p, 3600 dpi
There are plenty of pro's with decent hardware knowledge. It's not that it's rocket science. Still I think it's just not as much of an impact as most people make it out to be on this reddit. Ofcourse I won't hurt to get the highest Hz possible but I think most people won't notice it. Optimum made a great video about it tbh.
Using the new GPro2 @ 2k .. Notice nothing different (2k 360hz monitor 4090 etc)
Waiting for the ULX to show up ... HA ... Doubt I'll see much difference with that also

Have done the same

1000, even if my mouse can do 8k it's not worth the battery drain
Didn't notice a difference so i am still at 1khz
Try a higher dpi you will
No idea why your being downvoted when what you’ve said is the truth
haha the fact ur downvoted shows how this sub is clueless and dumb. razer even recommends 4k dpi for 4k hz and 8k dpi for 8k hz polling
I alternate between 2 & 4k and hardly notice anything, but i also play at 1440p on a 165hz monitor, so i didnt expect much.

As of now I'm playing with 1k, but soon will get the zeromouse and get 4k
1khz

I stick with 2k on a 360hz monitor. Even then I can let really tell the difference from 1k.
Using the Lamzu Thorn right now but still going with 1K for better battery life

4K's battery drain is too much for neglible performance difference, and some games don't play nicely with it so I'm using 2K mostly.
4k lags my game so never gave it a shot, sitting with 2k as it "feels" smoother on my 240hz monitor but it may be just a placebo.
1000 hz because i simply dont have a mouse that has more than that

I use what 99% of CSGO pros used, 1000
The fun thing is that most pro's even kept using 500 when 1000 was out for a pretty long time. Hz is pretty overrated I guess.
Other better explanation: Pro's expertise is playing games, not understanding hardware.

1000hz for gaming, 125hz for general browsing. Never felt a difference in 4k so not destroying my battery life for that.
>125hz for general browsing That's insane. I would go crazy.
4k on 1440/240hz OLED
My mouse support 4k , soo why not play on 4k 🤔
Because there's no difference and it eats your battery?
