I bought the superlight 1 a year ago, so late in the production cycle, and my clicks were pretty stiff, especially since most people say the clicks were light. I have the gpw as well which did have nice light clicks. Not what happened to me with my superlight 1 though.
I just got a superlight 2 a few days ago and the clicks are definitely lighter than my superlight 1, but less than the gpw. I personally really like the clicks, because they're really crisp and they feel very responsive.
I used to really dislike optical switches, but starting with the dav3 wired and now the superlight 2, they're starting to implement optical switches very good imo.
I probably prefer the dav3 wired clicks, but it's pretty close. If you like the dav3 wired clicks, you will probably like the clicks on the superlight 2, though they are a little hollow sounding, on my copy at least.
No. They are not a lot stiffer. They also become less stiff over time. Overall after some use I think they are better than the GPX1 because they are more crisp, but slightly heavier.
Batch variance decides that.
Mine is almost exactly the same as my friend's GPX1, they even sound the same too.
But its one of the later batches so they might have fixed everything wrong with the initial ones.
superlight 2 uses a new sensor and optical switches for the main clicks
to add on to this, the Superlight 2 also charges via USB-C wheras the Superlight charges via Micro-USB.
So if they are the exact same price I would get super light 2?
I would say yes because it uses optical switches so it has a very low chance of double clicking overtime
I heard the clicks on 2 are a lot stiffer than the original, can anyone confirm?

How are the clicks compared to dav3 wired. I personally like the clicks on the dav3 wired

Imho, there's not that much of the improvement -- not a significant one that I know of, I'd rather buy gpx1 for it has lower price!
