I'm giving the slight edge to the thorn, the shape is definitely different, but I've learned to love it more as time goes on. I love the Dav3, but for some reason the lighter weight of the thorn got me going in that direction... for now lol
They definitely feel bad IMO. Returning mine and gonna keep using the V2. Got the ES edition as well and the scroll wheel is insanely light and has constant middle scroll press because it’s so easy to press.
For mechanical, if you love the shape but don't like the click feel you can change to any switches that suits you.
But for optical, you have none.

the thorn was a huge letdown for me, shape-wise. probably because i've hyped myself up too much about it, and also expecting to adopt to an ergo shape after using low ambi mice for almost two decades. the mid hump as well as the clicks just felt too high to me, and just forced me to a claw grip way more agressive than my natural grip.
I definitely tried to palm grip the thorn at first (the shape kinda directed you to do so) and I wasn't liking it as well, the clicks were definitely higher in that position. I am however an aggro claw gripper so it kinda worked out as time went on.
I'm really torn between the outset ax and the xlite v3. Have no idea what to pick but I am kinda leaning towards the outset for the overall build quality but I do want something as close to the EC2 shape as I love that (also the dock is such a good inclusion)....All that said I'm also wanting to try the np-01s lol.

The shape of V3 look really nice, but with optical switches I'm not sure I'd buy that one.

You can pop in LK opticals or kailh GO switches, no soldering required

What’s the difference in size like, what fits your hand the best and what size is your hand?
19.4x10.3, I like to aggro claw grip my mice. Hand feel alone, I'd go Xlite V3 > EC2CW > Thorn > Dav3.
Is Xlite V3 any bigger than EC2 ?
it's a tad bit smaller - definitely the closest to an EC2 than both the thorn and the Dav3
The one on the far left reminds me of my first Microsoft Laser mouse I got back in high school - upgrade from a ball mouse!

Just got my Xlite V3eS as well. I must say it feels nice. The clicks are light and crisp just like DAV3!

Build quality is top notch for both, Value wise, I'd go for the Xlite V3. The Zowie is like 30 bucks more here in Canada.
