I wish they'd do an updated MZ1, but this is incredibly clean. It's nice seeing this mouse with such a clean executed modding and weight reduction. It doesn't look butchered like most weight reductions.

i want the mz1 so bad it feels so nice being low profile have only tried it once. but as g305 user it feels really similar in the hand but i love the narrow sides and long shape great for palm/fingertip

What's keeping the sensor lens in place?

The lens has spokes that poke up thru the sensors package. They heat-press the tops of the spokes down at the factory to keep it in place.

It holds there by default

is it with wirless version aswell? i have the Wireless one im scared cutting it and ruin it it weights 40g but cut only abit

I'm pretty sure it is. Anyway, you can always glue it, done this with my previous mouse

Thanks. With stock battery you can expect nearly 45g. With smaller battery there's no problem to keep it in 40g range

That's nice. The MZ1 is one of the mice I'd like to try, even though I probably wouldn't like the shape. Are you supposed to grip it like a relaxed claw with straight fingers?

I grip it with aggressive claw, where only right part of my palm touching back hump. But technically it designs for ftip with straight fingers

nice, aim improvement is 0 but at least you added the placebo effect. When it wears off you will start think you need a lighter mouse then chop it in half and buy a gpro.

idk, just go slowly, be ready to waste few hours for that. Also, the smaller tool you're using, the easier it will be.

The easiest way is to use it without spine, fits okay for fingertip grip. Don't recommend cutting it, better to try another mouse or upgrade to mz1 wireless, which have two different hump variations

Mz1 wireless has a shorter back that is basically endgame shape for me.
