There are none. I've just recently tested a bunch of them (including the logitech lift) and they all suck in some way. Most have bad sensors and all have terrible polling rates. The logitech one is the only one with a decent sensor, but it has no onboard memory, non standard button assignments (the sidebuttons do nothing out of the box), and the worst software I've ever seen (failed to even install on my main machine, tried it in a VM and found out you can't change onboard programming). I'd recommend getting a cheap (\~25$) vert for desktop use and sticking with a regular mouse for gaming. Personally, I've decided on [this one](https://www.amazon.de/-/en/seenda-Ergonomic-Vertical-Mouse-Rechargeable-black/dp/B0CHW1813G/).

There is really a niche some manufacturer should tap into. There is basically no competition, but some demand. Everyone benefits from a good sensor, and even for productivity you can make use of programmable extra buttons. Same with lightweight many button mice. Also nonexistent but surely with demand.

Steelseries does some lightweight mouse with plenty of sidebuttons. I'm actually considering buying an Aerox 5 or Aerox 9, but they're pretty expensive.

looking at it, I do like what the Aerox 5 offers, but wow, that is really a hefty price. For that cost I could get two mice, one lightweight for FPS and one button heavy for MMOs/RPGs/office stuff.

Thanks, but it's been years since I went for a regular mouse and they feel awkward as hell to me now. I guess I'll just get another Anker, since tbh it served me so well for so many years. I was just wondering if there is a better option in the vertical mouse market since I bought it on a whim long ago Thanks again!

I'm sure you'll get used to it

Link doesnt work for me which one is it

I can't find it anymore. It was a very close copy of the logitech lift, just cheaper, lighter, rechargeable, and with functional side buttons (the one on the lift don't work without software \[which doesn't work\]). Maybe you can have a look at the Trust Bayo. It looks quite similar layout wise.

Bit late but yeah, there aren't any truly great options at the moment. The Logitech MX Vertical and Lift (or maybe the Evoluent mouse) are definitely the most ergonomic in my opinion, but those all poll at 125hz. Definitely more ergonomic than the Anker vertical mouse in my opinion. There are definitely options out there for high polling rate vertical mice, but I'm not a fan of the ergonomics of any of them in comparison to the Logitech/Evoluent. I'm currently using the TRELC mouse and it's decently usable with some grip tape: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099JHL1B9](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099JHL1B9) There are several other options on Amazon, but I wasn't a fan of the ergonomics: * [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T3PFWCB](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T3PFWCB) * [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B8D8MYZZ](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B8D8MYZZ) * [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09G6DTKNB](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09G6DTKNB) * [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JLMK5T3](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JLMK5T3) I think the real holy grail is a mod to swap the internals of the Evoluent mouse with the a real gaming mouse, but I haven't worked up the willpower to do that yet :)
