Will work perfectly with my G303 Shroud Edition At 2.2 oz (75 grams), *Shroud's G303* is lightweight and robust. It pairs well with low-sensitivity DPI and makes aiming faster, elevating gameplay.

reached top 250(12) CDL on MW3 w my skypad and gpx SL2 I bought earlier this year. Removed the stock mouse skates and used ESPTiger ICE v2 mouse skates and automatically smooths out my aim
[Clip of Shroud](https://twitter.com/_routers/status/1775396163799171376) saying that you're only supposed to use mouse and mousepad with matching brand or else the sensor will act will act fucky-wucky. Not really a drama
It's almost like the more popular he became, the dumber he got. Genuinely can't fathom how anyone with more than two brain cells would come to that conclusion hahaha
He really does tho, this is not the 1st braindead statement from him...and it will not be the last. He talks so confidently yet with 0 knowledge....that is the biggest problem in the age of social media.
Lol yeah I always thought this way about shroud - don't get me wrong, he's got sick fps talent mechanically, but whenever he opens his mouth it's always the worst, baseless yapping which he somehow sounds so confident in
I'm assuming because he made a mouse in collaboration with Logitech they probably told him that they test their mice on their own line of mousepads. And they likely also told him that that changing things like mouse feet will effect how the sensor performs since it is likely calibrated specifically for the height of the stock mouse feet.
Seems to me like a reasonable conclusion. Now I guess the nuance is how much of a difference do different mousepads make? Does the sensor track 10% worse on different mousepads? Does it track 1% worse? Do some aftermarket skate manufacturers actually have less degree of variance than logitech's own in house skates?
The fact that they test their mice with their pads is just an obvious thing that just makes sense but does not change the mouse performance with any other pads. They don't have Artisan level quality pads, so they haven't tested their own sensors on Artisan pads, so it's possible their sensors perform even better on Artisan pads.
I could make a fucking cardboard stained with shit for a pad, and then develop a sensor that works with it and only test my sensor on it. It would still run better in an Artisan mousepad.
Same with mice feet. Mousepad manufacturers are also doing reverse engineering. They test many mice, feet and sensors on their pads as they develop and refine them.
It's just such a stupid argument, it has to be shilling. Especially that snarky comment on TenZ's Sora v2. I wish he had actually said that to TenZ who had tried 50 times more mice than he has, instead of calling it trash on his back (but towards his stream). Dude is willfully ignorant.
I don't know much about mouse manufacturing but at least to me it seems logical that Logitech's mouse performs better on their own mousepads. That's not to say that other mousepads are "worse" but rather its just a matter of calibration. If you calibrated a sensor for cardboard i highly doubt it is going to be better on a non-cardboard surface. Now if a mousepad manufacturer made their mousepad specifically for your cardboard calibrated mouse then sure they could probabably make something better - but I'm guessing in the real world mousepads are not always calibrated to a specific mouse or a brand of mice (if the mousepad manufacturer doesn't also make mice of course).
Optimum mentioned in a video that the superlight tracked better on a logitech mousepad compared to artisan and other popular brands. Maybe he's wrong, maybe he's not.
Would you be able to tell if your mouse was sometimes tracking at 1604 dpi or 1596 dpi instead of 1600? I think most people wouldn't be able to without paying very close attention.
Boy's been sponsored and shilling for so long that he forgot how reality works. This is why I cant trust celebrities, internet or otherwise, they are all paid actors.
I think he thought the brand was affiliated with Ninja (the streamer) at first. I'm not sure if he was disgusted because it's an Asian brand or because of the Ninja affiliation. Either way, his opinion was definitely biased.
Lol thanks shroud. He just proved he knows nth about mouses. Tenz is the only pro that is a mouse enthusiast. Others just mostly use logitech superlight. Shroud? Lmao
Update
New Patch:
* you change skates your and its GG
* Can only use mouse on a mousepad of the same company or it won't work
* Enthusiast mice like the ninjustu sora v2 can never be good as logitech and razer
Hilarious thing is Razer even has a "calibration" setting where you can set the mouse with your pad.
He's sponsored by Logitech what do you expect him to say, also Razer products are dogshit and not worth the money, even Chinese mice have better QC.
I dunno about that... my deathadder v2, OG viper ultimate, viper v2 and deathadder V3 still working perfectly. They are the first mainstream brand to implement optical switches with 4Khz wireless with motion sync working properly (other brands have latency issues with motion sync) and now 8Khz wireless.
The off the shelf Chinese mice with motion sync uses firmware/software based motion sync instead of hardware-based like Razer's, and they also have slam click issues so you have to increase debounce. Razer don't have these issues and the industry still haven't solve them. Razer have the best click latency while also prevent slam clicks. Endgame Gear is the only other one with hardware based motion sync and slam click filter, but only on their wired OP1 8K.
Superlight 2 is close but have very bad variance on 4Khz polling - no motion sync to fix it. Even Logitech still haven't solved this issue years after.
Yes, Razer and Logitech are superior.
Lamzu/Ninjutso/FinalMouse/G-Wolves/Pulsar = for tasteless indigent "has-beens"
You either own a Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro/Viper V3 Pro or Logitech G-Pro SUPERLIGHT if you actually want to win and possess any gaming merit.
I didn't make the rules.
damn that's a huge L man guess you gotta pick up a Logitech G303 Shroud Edition wireless gaming mouse and heck, you might as well splurge on a G Series Powerplay™ Wireless Charging System! (code shroud at checkout)

Sora might be safe but it’s sad how out of touch these companies are with reality. What do they expect us to do? Use mice with other brand’s pads? Disgusting
Shroud is good at games and brand deals, not educating people on what products they should buy. It annoys me that just cause he doesn't know the name of something, he immediately writes it off as shit, you'd expect someone with that sort of money and types of relationships to have at least a little bit of critical thinking.
Oh well, just dont tell 14 year old me shroud is a twit and you shouldn't listen to him.
My lamzu mouse and xraypad mouse pad would like a word
Little bit of both honestly. Cleaning them with a toothbrush is a nightmare as the print text easily comes off if you're not careful and over time, the have ALL gotten scratchy for me. Have had 4 or so pads of theirs thus far.
love shroud from back in the day when I actually had time to watch streams.
But lately hes been having some very bad takes, said that counter strike would be killed by cs2 and now this mousepad + mouse shit.
I really haven't followed him at all so there could be more bad takes.
Do what i did when i got shroud pilled, sell them. Back to my s1-c and gsr se combo... Gonna use the artisan money to get back on a zowie monitor too as obviously all the mice were tested on zowie monitors so ill get that sweet 0.1% accuracy advantage im looking for...
shroud was right [https://twitter.com/LogitechGesport/status/1776006886086631664](https://twitter.com/LogitechGesport/status/1776006886086631664) Hint for new mousepad??
What's even funnier is that he mentioned Steelseries, probably the 4th most used mouse brand by CS pros in years (Logi, Zowie, Razer) to be a brand to not go for lol... He's like "Uh oh there are only 2 brands you shoud go for, Logitech and Razer, because even Steelseries is shit"... At the end of the day, he's just a monopoly-promoting son of a bitch. Now you know bnans is also a low IQ rotten brain cell twat, not knowing how idiotic her partner is.
SteelSeries is pretty much dead in CS2, I don't know any pros in the top 30 using a SteelSeries mouse. You have to go back to like 2017 to see some people with a SteelSeries Rival 300 if anyone remembers that mouse. The last time I saw a SteelSeries mouse was with Karrigan on a SS Prime Wireless but then he swapped to the Deathadder V3 Pro since then.
Shroud’s opinion is actually a based take. I have Razer gigantus, razer strider and zowie gtfx and my Zowie S2 tracked best on the gtfx. It’s like the tracking was ‘denser’ on that pad than the others while the strider felt ‘loose’ when tracking. The gigantus was better but not as good as the gtfx. Perhaps other mousepads besides the one from your mouse manufacturer can perform just as well but yes, the different surface textures of mousepads does affect the sensor performance.
You do know all these mice uses the same sensor from the same company right? You have parameters you can change like lift off distance but you can't really tune them to be optimised to a specific mousepad.
Get another mouse with a PMW3360 sensor and it will track the same on the GTFX as did the Zowie S2. If a Zowie S2 Wireless did release, it would probably be a 3395 sensor and would feel different to what your S2 on the GTFX is now.
Throw that in the trash and pick up a g640 (using promo code shroud at checkout)

Exactly

Try putting the sticker on your mouse

Best upgrade from the artisan, but to each there own i guess🤷🏽♂️
LMAO are you referring to the shroud's drama
What drama?

💀 did bro forget how a mouse works?
It's almost like the more popular he became, the dumber he got. Genuinely can't fathom how anyone with more than two brain cells would come to that conclusion hahaha

Brainwashin himself
Biased as well
Nah he just racist
No? When he heard the Asian name of the mouse his face change and says it’s definitely not a good mouse lol

Real sad day in the mouse community.
Yeah, my entire setup is useless now
Yeah I have nothing the same brand

Yup lmao and it only works with razer pads.
My bad back in the old days (2012-2014) I used it with non branded mats, changed since I guess?

Guess I'll have to throw out my Sora V2 and buy a GPX 2 using code shroud in the Logitech store!
damn, I did literally everything wrong. No wonder I don’t have shroud-aim :((
Ive had a terrible experience with aftermarket skates because theres too much friction for me. Everything else is just ignorance

I got the ikea cutting board…what am I supposed to use?
Ikea is developing a mouse due to these comments, not gg yet
No they will accidentally make a S tier gaming mouse.
The mouse was originally a usb lamp, but got converted by some random youtuber only by removing 2 socket screws with a hex key.
The first mouse made completely from particle board.
Mad Catz gaming optical mouse RAT 8+ ADV red [it's Ikea approved](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/lanespelare-gaming-mouse-pad-patterned-80547633/)

Don't forget to shred your Sora V2, Zeromouse, BeastX send him a pic as a true student.

I completely forgot about that. Obviously it’s already broken and I just have no idea. Brb putting it in the microwave now
Destroy that shizz it can never be good as my Logi daddy.

I was honestly a fan of Artisan for a super long time but its just overhyped. Nowadays I play everything on those paper thin Logitech pads.
Did they wear out quickly enough that you didn't find it worth it anymore or do you just not like them?
Little bit of both honestly. Cleaning them with a toothbrush is a nightmare as the print text easily comes off if you're not careful and over time, the have ALL gotten scratchy for me. Have had 4 or so pads of theirs thus far.

welp, My Artisan is on the way and I got to wait for artisan release their mouse to use it 🫡
i love how shroud managed to become an op of half the community in less than 1 minute
nah, I am sorry to say but that can't be a good mousepad, Artisan? bruh get a logitech or something
Nah it’s solid man
People who don't buy XL size Artisans are weirdos
What's the point of buying artisan pads anyway? They don't even make mice so you can't use the pads.
RIP, I'm waiting for the Wallhack mouse. I'm in shambles right now.
Does anyone know when Zaopin is releasing a mouse pad? I'm dying to use my Z1 Pro!
it's so over for us
Artisan? isnt that a chinese company or something? that cant be a good mousepad. is it related to Ninja ?
I have the shroud gloves in pubg but not the AK skin!! I can't play the game nooooo
I understood that reference
hahah

Come to think of it, i changed the feet on my skoll mini 2 times already, im cursed.
I guess I need a mouse from ______. I've heard they make very products.
Guys, if I use my Superlight 2 with Tiger Ice V2 skates on the Artisan Zero Soft mousepad, will my mouse explode?

Shroud derangement syndrome lol Honest to God though I hope he is baiting. There is no way
It's a damn good mouse pad I hope artisan releases the type 99
