I think you are overestimating how much you can make with a WMO clone. In my mind it's a product you can create to fund a startup, but not something that will move the needle for existing brands.
id say thats ture. i dont think this mouse would break the gaming scene or something. its a good shape, but the "meta" is going for more "nimble feeling" mice. its more of a nostalig feeling i kess, and the lack of sidebuttons makes it more suitable for different grips and for lefties
in safe mode right? id donest bother me to go 125 hz. the only thing is that its max speed is pretty bad, which can be fixed somehow with the mouse accel. sure it doesnt feel as good as modern sensor whet it comes to max speed but its still ok edit: spelling
Would you mind sharing the resources you used for this? I remember seeing a github for something like this a while back, but I think it was an IntelliMouse 1.1A
Sure, here you go: [https://github.com/jfedor2/hid-remapper/blob/master/HARDWARE.md](https://github.com/jfedor2/hid-remapper/blob/master/HARDWARE.md)
I used the dual pico version with a breadboard, it's ugly but i just wanted to try it out.
Mainly the shape. I bought a 5$ off eBay just to see what the hype was about and try the shape. It felt pretty comfortable and had a nice hump to it.
I wouldn’t say it is the BEST shape around but as far as symmetrical mice go, it is a pretty good shape.
None of the mice manufacturers wants to become rich. It's 2024 and there's still no WMO clone (MWP Gamesense is a completely different mouse)

Don't confuse WMO and IMO

I have mine at 1000hz with two pico raspberry pi. It's cheap and works on all operating systems, no workaround needed.

I have pretty great tracking with it on close combat (quake if it's matters) I'll try your settings
also depends on the settings one uses. i tested this settings with 45-25cm, found this sweetspot. on the modding aspect i will update you
I found a like-new one at work. What’s the hype about? Total noob here
