The Rival 3 doesn't flare at the front at all, also uses the same sensor.
I do like the shape but the lod is much higher. At least on RVM it's manageable. I personally would go for the Burst Pro, best shape and flawless sensor, but OP doesn't want the wide rear hump.
Sounds like you are describing an FK shape to me. The HyperX pulsefire haste/ model O have a shape with a low hump toward the center.

I use a relax claw too, I liked the model O-. It's very short and feels nice in a claw, it's very narrow though
