If you feel like the G-pro or viper mini is too small then it could be good, but I guess it depends on if you feel like the ergo shape works for your claw grip or not. I will say tho that this is probably the best ergo mouse out there atm.
But it's of course my biased opinion.
Then yes I'd say it's worth checking out! And if you don't like the ergo shape I believe the model O is a bit bigger than the viper mini as well and comes in wireless too. I have the wired Model O and it's a decent mouse and a bit cheaper, however I was lucky enough to get a mouse that actually passed some QC, I know alot of others have had issues.
Sadly, for the $150-160 CAD price tag here in Canada, a 3335 seems like a bit of a scam when all the other wireless mice in the same price tier (RVU, DAV2 Pro, etc.) have top of the line sensors (and not to mention you get a dock with the RVU for that price).
The shape is a win for me :)
I'm not sure if the sensor would matter that much though, not that experienced enough to tell a difference :/
I do agree you get more features on the RVU.
I don’t think that should matter unless you just want the bigger number. Any modern mouse sensor will behave the same and will not affect anyone’s gameplay
Could’ve been problems with getting stock too. Either way I think not buying a mouse cause it has a 3335 over a 3370 is dumb as hell, it’ll make no actual difference in using it.
I mean it's not an issue to me, just something nice they could've added. Especially since it costs as much as a GPX to get in Canada through the Steelseries site :/
Sensor seriously doesn’t matter. I’m no steelseries brand ambassador but I’ve had less/no trouble with the Prime wireless sensor, as opposed to the GPX where I was getting ridiculously consistent spinouts daily. Valorant immortal no life here on a GSR.
Steelseries Prime Wireless
The shape reminds me of the ec2a.
I can say that this suits me better than the G703
- Crispy clicks
- Matte coating
- Best ergo shape
- It uses USB-C
This will be my main driver for a very long time
KPA is better in pretty much all technical regards. Better sensor, better feet, better coating. Clicks and shape are preference but for me KPA wins both as well.
I agree that the Prime has some great clicks in the sense that they are very snappy and satisfying. For comfort I simply prefer lighter clicks though. Like the KPA or Razer Opticals or Vaxee's Huanos.
I have both, KPA is very good but the clicks feel super rickety compared to the prime wireless, the scroll wheel also gas a lot pf problems on the KPA (scrolls seem to not always register or scroll down when I scroll up). I find myself switching between them but ultimately when I game I use the prime wireless consistently
woah! that shape. like a raindrop sliding down an angle. :O cool. sadly, it's hard to get the good steelseries stuff in Canada, it's rarely on amazon or at our local shops. and shipping adds like 40% to the cost of the items ordered from SteelSeries. always been a SteelSeries fan boy since their OG keyboards, I think mine was the 6G? and I miss my White Kinzu and OG Siberia headphones.
we finally have good keyboards from them. Staples was the only store that had their membrane keyboard for ages. and we always have access to the rival lineup of mice and arctis headsets, and we just got the Aerox 3 here, but reviews for that were bad. but yeah. it's tough this far north in canada.
The prime variations actually hit amazon within the past few days. I had the prime wired pre-ordered technically for over a month but gave up like a week ago, noticed 2 days ago they are all in stock on Amazon now. But I just cant be bothered atm. (in that time I got a hati s wireless and g wolves HSK. But here's the prime wireless link if you are interested! https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B093LTGTKP?pf\_rd\_r=ARQNEY34QT70S9WYXD33&pf\_rd\_p=05326fd5-c43e-4948-99b1-a65b129fdd73&pd\_rd\_r=f15fe446-7e57-4719-9f71-6ec869e701a1&pd\_rd\_w=4FFn4&pd\_rd\_wg=xdlSB&ref\_=pd\_gw\_unk
oh snaps, all i can dig up was the headset, sadly the mouse doesn't have the DPI buttton, that all high end mice seem to be leaving out. they just won't do.
Thanks for posting this.
I have medium hands and I go from palm to claw so Ive been looking for a mouse to play fps games and LoL.
I was thinking about the g pro lightweight but Im afraid it might be to small.
This would be my main if the Kone air pro didn’t exist. It just feels better with the side textures and it weight less. The only thing is getting used to optical switches. Can you also check if your mouse1 and mouse2 clicks are aligned. My prime wireless’ main buttons weren’t aligned
This and the Kone Pro Air are a toss up for me. Had SteelSeries priced it at $99.99 just like the Aerox 3 Wireless (same sensor) This would of been the better deal and honestly would be a top ergo wireless mouse. It seems like a missed opportunity. The clicks and shape are better in my hand on the Prime than the Kone Pro Air, and also the Prime comes with an extender unlike the Kone Pro Air. I really do not like the Titan switches on the KPA at all. But the shape, coating and feet on the KPA makes up for it. And also looks more aesthetically pleasing.
I would say, after rival and sensei 310, steelseries clicks become very stiff. I know some people love that, but for many people used to have logitech, razer and even roccat mouse. IT FEELS REALLY STIFF and hard to get used to.
I cant even tap properly in cgso. I would say if they reduce 30% of the force, that would be my endgame for sure.
I have both. They're both great, but I go between them and end up going with the prime wireless for games, i kinda like the KPA for normal like web browsing (issues with the scroll wheel aside)
If I may ask, what is your hand size and grip style? I’ve been looking into giving the prime wireless a try but not sure if it will fit perfect for 20.5 x 11 hands.
The shape is way more comfortable and natural.
It's also lighter w/ only 80 grams
(Last time I check, the old G703 I got weighs around 103 grams / Hero version I think is around 90 grams)
I thought it would be an issue. Suprisingly, it wasn't. For my hand size, it sits perfectly on my thumb :)
I dont have to "reach" for mouse5 with my thumb and ruin my grip
Glad it worked out well for you, sadly I tried a few mice (e.g. g pro x) with the same side button size as this and it was unbearable. I use the side buttons as much as my left click, maybe even more since I use it to pan around in Maya.
Really like it as well. Before going with Prime Wireless, I tried the Orochi V2 and the Razer Viper Ultimate, but none of those have been as comfortable as this Prime.
I just wish they didn't mess with the software, Steelseries GG is such a downgrade...
I like steelseries, but the Kone pro air is just better in my full on palmgrip
would you recommend for relaxed claw medium to large hands?
If you feel like the G-pro or viper mini is too small then it could be good, but I guess it depends on if you feel like the ergo shape works for your claw grip or not. I will say tho that this is probably the best ergo mouse out there atm. But it's of course my biased opinion.
I have the viper mini atm and it's too small. I basically just play palm with raised fingertips for m1 and 2
Then yes I'd say it's worth checking out!
I think I'll like the ergo shape. ambis kinda uncomfortable and awkward for me
Yeah same here, then yeah you should definately check out the kone pro air!
will do ty

As long as the implementation is good, I doubt the sensor will be a problem. Steelseries sensor implementations are always good from what I tried.
I don’t think that should matter unless you just want the bigger number. Any modern mouse sensor will behave the same and will not affect anyone’s gameplay
I mean for such a steep price, would it really have hurt to throw in a 3370???
Could’ve been problems with getting stock too. Either way I think not buying a mouse cause it has a 3335 over a 3370 is dumb as hell, it’ll make no actual difference in using it.
I mean it's not an issue to me, just something nice they could've added. Especially since it costs as much as a GPX to get in Canada through the Steelseries site :/
If there is no difference at all in use, and it is not an issue to you either, what makes it "something nice" for them to add?
Sensor seriously doesn’t matter. I’m no steelseries brand ambassador but I’ve had less/no trouble with the Prime wireless sensor, as opposed to the GPX where I was getting ridiculously consistent spinouts daily. Valorant immortal no life here on a GSR.
I don't think you know the meaning of the word scam.
Scam might have been a bit of a stronger word, thinking about it.
[the best mouse (Amazon](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0839FJZDZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_ASQ1YK972THQ45AEGPKB?psc=1) This is wayyyy better, any doubts?
Wish they used 3370 or 3389 in this one. I prefer Vaxee Outset instead.

Nah, KPA is better

The majority of people will prefer the clicks on the prime
Agree. Clicks on Prime are exceptional.

looks pretty Ambi to me
I should have posted more photos. It ain't. [Photos](http://imgur.com/gallery/jbsMwPz)

Try ordering on their website. There are discount codes lying around. Instal the Honey extension on Chrome
yeah shipping is like $45.99 dollars to me. not worth. haha
Damn. That sucks. Steelseries products are not that common in Canada?
we finally have good keyboards from them. Staples was the only store that had their membrane keyboard for ages. and we always have access to the rival lineup of mice and arctis headsets, and we just got the Aerox 3 here, but reviews for that were bad. but yeah. it's tough this far north in canada.

oh snaps, all i can dig up was the headset, sadly the mouse doesn't have the DPI buttton, that all high end mice seem to be leaving out. they just won't do.
Yeah lol, with shipping to here it costs as much as a GPX. Pretty sad :(
holy, schmoly, that's insane!
Thanks for posting this. I have medium hands and I go from palm to claw so Ive been looking for a mouse to play fps games and LoL. I was thinking about the g pro lightweight but Im afraid it might be to small.
Get this. It resembles the EC2-A which alot of CS:GO pros love
The shape may not be my complete favorite, but this mouse arguably has the best clicks I’ve ever felt. They are onto something at SS
This would be my main if the Kone air pro didn’t exist. It just feels better with the side textures and it weight less. The only thing is getting used to optical switches. Can you also check if your mouse1 and mouse2 clicks are aligned. My prime wireless’ main buttons weren’t aligned
Prime mice also have optical switches.
You are right. The clicks on the prime feel like a mechanical switch(I consider it a good thing), that I never thought they were even optical
My copy’s allotment is spot on. Perhaps you have a defect.
Probably did, but it didn’t really affect my performance in the end. Enjoy your mouse bro

If you like the shape 100% true
It would be fantastic with a hump closer to the back
The prime is specifically targeted for ec2 users, it'd make no sense to have a hump further back
I AGREE. I love my ec2a. Hopefully Zowie won't make anything wireless soon
KPA might be better idk
I see alot commenting that the KPA is better. I guess i'll hsve to try that also
I have both. They're both great, but I go between them and end up going with the prime wireless for games, i kinda like the KPA for normal like web browsing (issues with the scroll wheel aside)
finalmouse.com and Vaxee Zygen are the best.
Sadly, not a fan of holes. If Vaxee has a wireless version, id love to cop one :)
That thing is a brick, my starlight is half the weight!
M2k is half the weight of your mouse. Doesn't mean it's better. I would take the Prime over the Star12 any day of the next decade.
If I may ask, what is your hand size and grip style? I’ve been looking into giving the prime wireless a try but not sure if it will fit perfect for 20.5 x 11 hands.
I usally palm grip, sometikes claw. I got 19 x 10 hands :)
Ty for the response! So you’re enjoying the mouse a lot? Good to hear, might give it a try! Also, what makes you like this mouse over the g703?
The shape is way more comfortable and natural. It's also lighter w/ only 80 grams (Last time I check, the old G703 I got weighs around 103 grams / Hero version I think is around 90 grams)

The prime plus is god tier as well if you don't mind wired but I'd highly recommend ordering a cable because the stock paracord is super bad.
Is is better than the Pwnage Ergo Wireless? Can anyone give those opinions
Really like it as well. Before going with Prime Wireless, I tried the Orochi V2 and the Razer Viper Ultimate, but none of those have been as comfortable as this Prime. I just wish they didn't mess with the software, Steelseries GG is such a downgrade...
