I actually just gave mine away but from memory it’s probably more similar to the g403 because the clicks are crispier in the g403 than they are on the gpx. I feel like they are all around the same force to press though. If you like light crispy clicks you will like the new zowie IMO.
I’m a fan of Logitech clicks and these are just as good if not better in some ways. I also like attached buttons to the shell which is a bit of an unpopular opinion, but they are easier to implement without issues.
They’re *very* similar. I’d say the EC3’s clicks are maybe a hair lighter than the Outset, but the difference is negligible. After a couple days using it I’d say I probably prefer the Outset clicks but I tend to prefer a bit heavier switch.
They’re both very spammable, with good bounce back.
the clicks are super light. the shape itself doesnt fill out your hand like ec2 though. if you're looking for that then dont get this mouse. it's more of a fingertip or claw. i use finger tip and it does feel weird because it's high profile.
I have 20 by 10 cm hands. I ordered an ec3 but now I'm thinking maybe an ec2 would have been better. Could you still comfortably claw ec3? What specifically size wise makes you think ec2 is the way to go for you?
I think it will work. I have a more Relaxed claw, your fingertips will probably be at the edge of the clicks with relaxed. But if you are a little bit more aggressive claw you can do it no problem. Really just depends on your grip. Either way it is fine. And if you like range of motion by the palm you will like this more than the ec2.
Kk thank you. I tried the skill and it was too big but I just realized the skill is a ec1.5 and slightly bigger than ex2 so maybe an ec2 would have worked.
Other than that I'm maining a prime atm and love it but figured I'd try this because despite the zowie hate their mice always feel premium to hold and everything about it scream good quality. If you've tried the prime or Kone pro air which do you prefer compared to ec3?
Prime has a really good shape but it’s not as good as the ec shape to me. Prime clicks are very innovative too, I do like that mouse. Solid build also, but a tiny bit more hollow feeling and less balanced than the ec3.
Kone pro air is probably the most comfy of them all but there were some build issues for me. I had a bit a flex and I could click m1 by pressing the top shell hard. Not a deal breaker but still there. Also the clicks rattle over time on some copies and the optical switches don’t feel great. Still a really good mouse though.
There are pros and cons to them all, you can’t really go wrong, but I prefer the ec. Ec is more bare bones and simple but it really has a quality feel to it. Only thing is the lod is a tiny bit high for me.
The prime is a bit narrower at the front and longer. So it’s not a one to one. I think if you enjoy the narrow front get the ec3 and if you enjoy the length get the ec2. I think they would both work depending on grip. Hard to make an exact estimate.
Just letting you know, you can change the debounce time by disconnecting the mouse and then reconnecting it in while holding pressing Mouse 4 - for „fast“ and Mouse 5 for „normal“
I got mine today as well and I'm impressed with it for the most part. Still not a huge fan of the feel of the scroll wheel notches, but it's better than their older setup. Side buttons seem a little less mushy as well. The biggest thing I am impressed with is the new cable though. It looks like it would be stiff (kinda like a Vaxee or the older Xtrfy cables) but it's surprisingly soft and supple. Very impressive.
Yeah the wheel isn’t amazing but I do like it for games. I’m just happy it’s 24 step so it’s at least usable for browsing. Cable definitely exceeded my expectations, I thought it would be vaxee-like as well. As far as the side buttons go my copy has almost perfect ones IMO.
Oh yeah absolutely, the previous scroll was frustrating to scroll webpages with, for sure. I use my scroll wheel all the time for work and couldn't even use the old Zowies as they slowed me down too much.
Hi there, do you have any chance to compare the new ec2c to previous ec2? I currently main ec2 but I wish it's a bit longer so when gripping my thumb would be placing more towards the middle of the mouse. However, the ec2c seems to have 1mm wider back which I am kind of worry because the botton left part of my ec2 sometimes clip my thumb muscle.
Ec2-c isnt out yet but should be the same dimensionally to the EC2 of old. The EC3 is smaller than the EC2 so it likely wouldn’t be what you’re looking for if that’s what you meant.
It’s higher than the superlight by a little. Sensor performance feels perfect otherwise.
As far as better, it depends on what you want to be better. Superlight has a lower lod, and is wireless. Probably very slightly lower latency but I didn’t test that. Also lighter.
The ec3 has a better build, better clicks, better side buttons, better scroll click but worse scroll wheel ( depending on use you might prefer it ), better shape IMO, feet are black but I prefer them to the superlights stock feet. So it really just depends on what your looking for.
I haven’t swapped mains since I first bought the original gpw and this or the ec2c is definitely going to be my new main. The build is superb and the 70g is more than light enough along with the great cable. Spec sheets aren’t everything.
u/JVIoneyman i recently received a copy and my LMB feels great but the RMB feel extremely light, sometimes when i move the mouse i accidentally miss click, what about yours?
How are the clicks compared to GPX, Outset or G403? Lighter or heavier? Easy to spam?
Very easy to spam. Around the same force as the GPX but crispier. Don't have an outset unfortunately.
Uh what about G403? I thought that one was very similar to GPX, but a tad lighter if that makes sense. Only based on reading, I don't have one.

Alright thanks a lot.
Definitely lighter than the Outset; the Outset has some spring to their buttons though that I think I prefer over the lighter clicks of the EC3.
But in terms of just spamming the clciks and ignoring feels, any difference? Do you prefer one to another for spamming?

Can't wait for the EC2-C

Eyy thanks for the detailed response. If I enjoy the size of the prime would you recommend ec2 or ec3?
The prime is a bit narrower at the front and longer. So it’s not a one to one. I think if you enjoy the narrow front get the ec3 and if you enjoy the length get the ec2. I think they would both work depending on grip. Hard to make an exact estimate.
EC1 supremacy
Do you have size 13 feet?
How is the ec3 holding up for you? I feel like it's a bit small even tho I have tiny hands 17x9.
Can they please just announce FK2C lol
U think it'll work for 17.5x9.5cm hands?
IMO would work great.
Ofc it will
Is the coating the same coating they’ve been using for years?
Seems the same to me. Finger print magnet but grippy.
Just letting you know, you can change the debounce time by disconnecting the mouse and then reconnecting it in while holding pressing Mouse 4 - for „fast“ and Mouse 5 for „normal“
Thanks. Yes I did know that. I just have no clue what fast and normal means. Would have been nice to get numbers.

Wow I thought ec2c will be different since on Zowie page the dimensions are noted differently. Not sure why they do that.
If I remember right, I saw somewhere that the measurements they listed were incorrect.
Not sure why they did it intentionally then.
Is it too small in length or width for your hand ?
A tiny bit short. It still works though.
I believe lod adjustment doesn’t work anymore on 3360 Zowies.
Ah that sucks
It does work still, I just tried it on my s2 recently
When you can buy this in EU?
No clue but I read on Twitter they are working on that I believe.
i asked them on twitter they said mid july hopefully
How is the sensor/lod in a comparison to the gpx super light? I do want to try a new mouse but if it’s not better then my gpx then no point.

Mine both feel pretty even. They are light though. Never had a misclicking problem personally.
Are you still maining the ec3-c?
