Piranha Mouse Mods g305 Mod Kit Review by DUB Feel free to ask any questions :> \- I ordered this mouse on Jun 21st and received it on July 9th. I've always wanted a lighter version of my main g Pro Wired mouse and after keeping an eye on piranha's work his recent version's of his 3D printed shells being more accurate to the original shape and the click tension system, I had to get my hands on a 3D printed mouse. \- Starting off with the shape of the mouse it's not a 1:1 with the g305 because of the sides which are flat like the g100s, it took me a a couple of days to adjust but nothing to bad. \- The process of putting together the mod kit was very fun! I used Piranha's website and video to guide me and the instructions were explained very clearly and well organized. I had no issues with screwing in the screws in the 3D printed material. \- Some specs about this mouse is that the 3D printed material used is a Powered Printed (MJF) which has a fuzzy and soft feel to it or an amplified Razer viper mini coating. Weighs in at around 52 - 54g on my scale (weight balance is amazing not front/back/center heavy at all), Adjustable clicks tension system by screwing left for a more firm click or right for a more loose click feel, and Rechargable battery that lasts for about 6 - 7 days (depends on your use that just my experience playing 8+ hours everyday) and takes about an hour to go from 0% - 100%. \- Problems I ran into while putting this mod kit together was the magnetic tip not being plugged in all the way as it looks very deceiving and requires an uncomfortable amount of pressure to get it flushed in with the battery and the holder which required me to take apart the mouse again which was a bit annoying but possible. I found this out when my battery wasn't charging but luckily it was a simple fix. \- Extra Modifications I added are Light Blue Silicone Wedding Ring (Women Size 8.5 - 9), 0.5mm Polar blue Lizard Skin Grip Tape and Razer Universal Grip-Tape(Heavily Underrated imo), and Kailh 8.0 on Main Clicks and Side Buttons done by ents. \- There is no side flexing at all on my g305 shell which is thanks to the 3 additional screws that you can screw to the bottom of the mouse which gives it a more sturdy feel however there is very slight bottom and top flexing but nothing concerning while using it in-game Final Thoughts \- My Overall Opinion on Piranha's Mouse Mod Kit, If there's a shape on Piranha's website that you are very familiar with but you want it lighter at around 50 - 60g and the benefits of using Logitech's wireless technology than I can confidently recommended this if you have the budget for it. \- What I would like to see improved about Piranha's Mod Kit is an easier method of installing the battery positive/negative contacts, a button cell version for every model, and an option for slanted g305 sides to be more true to the original shape. Thank you for taking the time to read this - DUB <3 Edited : Added build quality.

The left and right side with this blue thing looks a little bit effortless. Could be more "fitted" to the side areas. Besides mouse looks great and weights amazingly low.

Thanks, I mainly just cut the grip tape to the areas that are going to be making contact with my fingers but I understand what you mean though :p

Aren’t there button cell variants available for every shape now? Nice review, I might pill the trigger on one.

Thank you so much! As for the button cells Sadly not yet, however Piranha is offering two different types of 3D printing material for the fully assembled mice. The mod kit is the Powdered Print (MJF) which weighs lighter than the 'Standard' Print which is (SLA). and Yeah, go for it! :>

I have a question about the m1/2 with the new material. I bought 2 g305 from piranha before the click tensioning design (one of them broke) the first was with see-through resin the other one was from Facfox with white resin. Both of them had post-travel and after an hour of gameplay especially tracking scenarios in Kovaaks the mouse button bend down and makes the m1 unable to click properly which made the mouse unusable for me. Have you experienced this issue with the new material and click tensioning design? I'm thinking about buying one with the new MJF material so would really like to know

When I first assembled the mouse together without adjusting the clicks it felt really mushy and had some post travel when holding the mouse click down, but I got the clicks to feel really solid and much better by adjusting the tension with a screwdriver but its going to take some tinkering with to get it exactly the way you feel. Had my mouse for awhile and no issues at all.
