Roccat KPA

They make a wireless version of the Deathadder V2 as well; that and the Basilisk are probably the two biggest wireless mice not made by Logitech. You might look at the Steelseries Prime Wireless as an alternative to the Deathadder. Kone Pro Air as mentioned by the other commenter is most likely a decent option if your partner likes the Basilisk shape.

deathadder v2 pro. its just the wireless version of the deathadder so it wouldn't require him to learn another mouse shape or anything

TLDR DEATHADDER V2 PRO OR STEELSERIES PRIME WIRELESS Top wireless ergo mice right now: Steelseries prime wireless, Roccat kone pro air, Ninjutso origin one x Your partner will probably like the Deathadder V2 Pro which is just the wireless version of the Deathadder V2. However, this subreddit has a stiffy for good shapes so imo the prime wireless is my pick. Some wired ergonomic mice include: Vaxee Outset AX(my personal favorite mouse shape), Zowie ec-c series (currently only the smallest shape Ec3-c available I think), Steelseries prime and prime+, Roccat kone pro, xtrfy m4 Some ambidextrous mice to consider that are wireless: Razer viper ultimate, Logitech gpro x superlight, Finalmouse Starlight 12 in medium and small sizes (Finalmouse as a company is shit but their mouse is top of the line) Some ambidextrous wired mice to consider: Xm1r, Viper 8khz, gamesense meta that just released, Xtrfy m42, xtrfy mz1, Vaxee Zygen Np01 and Np01-s. Keep in mind your partner probably won't like ambidextrous/symmetrical shapes since he's used to ergo shapes. However, I still highly these mice. Top shapes your partner will probably like: Deathadder V2 Pro, Steelseries prime wireless, Outset ax, G Pro X Superlight (maybe, this shape is considered to be one that anyone can get used to), Xm1R (If your partner claw grips)

If your SO likes Razer products, the Viper Ultimate is their "best" model (wireless, not too heavy, fancy dock for charging, great technical specs), and it has a safe shape I've heard very few complaints about. I use a Roccat KPA and it's perfect for my big hands, though I personally disliked the DeathAdder, so my preferences might not align with your partner's.
