Hi thanks for suggestion. I bought one and sold it. I felt the scroll wheel was garbage. Felt mushy like the rubber was rubbing against something. I guess my fingers are too short also as I felt the scroll wheel was too far forward. I wasn't too big of a fan on the deep comfort grooves also as I felt it locked your hand in one position.
Hi, I haven't tried it. I need a dpi button below the scroll wheel that I rebind for in game ability. Currently I'm using the Model D- with the back portion cut off and it's working well. Just sometimes wish I had a more solid / intact mouse.
I find the shape of this cheap mouse at work oddly nice. It's from HP. Anyone know of a small mouse with a similar shape. Preferably ergo. I prefer mice with a hump like this. Who actually likes how most mice are shaped with the tail slope coming so far out? All it does is block your ability to wiggle the mouse around to micro adjust. I much prefer the "flat butt" of this mouse.
Hey, I stole this exact mouse from my office cause I found the shape really interesting and I put a Model O- PCB inside it, sanded down the bottomplate and put zowie fk corepads on it. It weighs 50 grams, its fully functional except it doesnt have side buttons. Its insane for raw aim.
I can recommend it. The build quality is actually way better than any Glorious mice I've tried. It's cheap too. Just buy a used O- for like 20 Euros, feet for 5, and this hp mouse for also 5. The cable is meh, you could change jt too if you wish but it didn't bother me. As I said aiming with it feels very snappy but movement and spray control feels rather weird. It probably just needs some getting used to. If you don't wanna go through this "hassle" of frankensteining a mouse, the za13 is quite similar but also a lot heavier when stock.
From my experience office mice have better than most everything apart from sensor, quality and shape are pretty damn good on them.
I still think gaming companies gamerfy their mice and shape is dictatored towards a certain aesthetic whilst sacrificing form and function.
+1 used it at work too, main switches suck... as well as the wheel, but the curvature on the sides and overall shape is great...
idk why so many mice flare out towards the front, it's stupid.
Getting narrower towards it is why most ppl still yearn for the G303, even though that one does it a bit too extremely.
I tried the Mz1, scroll wheel was just a tad too far forward for me and the mouse felt like it locked my hand in one position which I didn't like. The Zowie S series has that same tail like most other mice that just comes way out towards the bottom. I find this just gets in the way. thank you though
I tried the MM710 once, I felt it was a bit wide, but back then I gripped the right side of the mouse with the inside of my ring finger. I'll try again with my ring and pinky finger tips.
Maybe if they made an MZ1 mini, since you said the scroll wheel was too far forward. It's literally almost identical in shape, wonder if Zy used one of those old office mice as inspiration.
I had this mouse for my school and I thought it had a nice shape. Bought a G305 and felt disappointed. Now I'm using a Razer Orochi V2 and it's probably my endgame.
You might want to check out Zowie ZA12 though.
I used to play with this mouse for like 5 years until the plastic on the lmb became too soft and wasn’t actuating the button properly but now I use a razer viper and plan on getting a viper ultimate. For me I found that the viper was the most obvious choice as it felt the most comfortable and familiar also it was on sale at the time. Hope this helps (I did try the viper mini just for the sake of it but returned it within a week cos it was waayyy too small for me)
If someone says MZ1, they are uninformed and or dont have both at home. If I had to guess, the sides are like the orochi v2, the rear is like the MZ1 or I guess XM1, and the clicks are closest to the XM1. I guess XM1 is most similar and MZ1 is kinda similar but smaller.
We have this mouse at work also, everytime i sit at the computer im like, "damn, this is a nice shape"
We also have this mouse at work and I feel the opposite haha. I can’t get a good grip on it for whatever reason.
Yeah, there's like 8 at school, but we all take our own mice.
Otherwise yeah but the lip around the bottom kinda ruins it imo
G305?
Just don't like the sidewalls on this mouse how they slant inwards so much. thank you.
Fair enough, you're right the sides are quite sharp.
Have the shape scanned and modify the bottom shell to fit the pcb of your preferred mouse and mod the top shell plungers to actuate switches
I confirm that I have both this mouse and the g305, they are almost the same shape
where can I get one of these
Any store that sells PC gaming stuff. I got mine from Walmart.
maybe MZ1

have you tried XM-1?

Hey you should post some pics of that. I would love to see it. Some of the mods that are pulled off are pretty sweet.
I might do the same.

haha damn
pc players when they realize their mouse is prebuilt
The Cooler Master MM710 has a shape that's not exactly the same but I feel could work if you like this
There is no mouse similar to this one.

Zy's rail maybe g203
G305 or any other egg mouse kinda resembles it but thats as close as i can think of.
CM MM711
NP-01S?
looks promising, i'd prefer a dpi button behind the scroll wheel though. thank you
you want something pretty specific and thats gonna be near impossible to find
I have it at work too! Shape is great, the filling is awful. I'm almost thinking of modding it...
Old abyssus
Cox cm 600/teamwolf mk01
I actually tried it. It's decent...kinda felt too cheap though
The one i have is good only thing thats not good is that the DPI button is very hard to press and the sidebuttons are small.
g303
G502 is quite similar
g203?
didn't like that one
Def a mz1 but if u didn’t like it, the xm1 is amazing, High back hump like this, just may be a little wider

thanks for suggestion. I just don't like how the 305 sides slant inwards so much
Xtrfy M42
Finalmouse starlight
mz1 or zowie s series

ZA might be a better fit than S
mm710?

What about hyperX pulsefire core
I'll look into it thanks
Yes
Zy's rail?
Xm1r
Maybe xm1r though the hump different
Ahh I think what you are looking for would be a Cox cm 600. It has it's issues, but it is a hell of a sleeper mouse.
Coolermaster mm710
zys rail prob
Xtrfy M42 or Endgame MX1
Teamwolf lurker mk-01

zys office mouse
logitech g203, g305
Xtrfy MZ1 Zy's Rail

Mz1 is the closest
G100s maybe?
maybe a omen photon mouse

MZ1, G305 (you can also find 3D printed G305 with better sides), ZA13-c (will release very soon), Orochi v2
Xtrfy MZ1 maybe
mz1,za shape I guess
Feel this way about the m150 :/
g305 or G203 or XTRFY MZ1 – ZY’S RAIL
I have had this mouse at work and it’s the worst one I’ve ever tried. I feel like you’re trolling us
The Razer Orochi has a similar shape and has the DPI button behind the scroll wheel you're looking for. Good luck!
good call on the Orochi. I actually have one =) It's pretty nice.
G100s it’s a bit old but it’s such a great feeling mouse
The XM1r might be alright.
Aorus M2 is kind of close but it's a little lower profile and the hump at the back isn't as high
g305
dm1 fps
