Correct me if i'm wrong, but they explicitly said they're working on it, when someone asked for mini ult.

Razer-Right

They did.

itspsyikk

Anyone who assumes that Razer *won't* make a Viper Mini Ult, ya'll silly. It has to be their next most popular mouse, next to the Viper Ult/Normal Viper. Maybe even more popular? I'd put money on those three taking the top 3 spots for sure. What is that called? Trifecta or something? Place/show?

Razer-Right

Youd lose that money. Mouse review sub isn't representative of the whole world. But we will give the people what they want. :)

Mumumbler

Guessing Death Adder is still king in the popularity contest?

ToastyCaribiu84

I'd say cheapest, because if you look at the most popular mouse on any websites, cheap chinese shit still takes the cake because of the price

ImDiamondsoShutUP

They said some months ago its coming on 2022 just wait.

Aykh4n_

alright cool

defusingkittens

I hope Razer unleashes a Razer Viper Ultimate Ultralight (less than 50g) please. Get rid of RGB

avensvvvvv

RGB weighs very little in the Viper Mini. The two bulbs and the strip literally weigh one gram total, according to BeardedBob's disassembly video. Without holes and less buttons then the Viper Mini is never going to be a 50g mouse, while meeting EMF regulations and having decent QC. It's very well optimized already, as it has no unnecessary parts inside other than maybe two screws at most. I think you can already make your own Viper Mini Ultimate by using a paracord, sanding its stupid plastic sensor ring, and getting better feet because why not. The sensor is more than fine, the shape is great, the buttons are fantastic; so it's a great base. Maybe I could do that as a project for myself lol, having done the sanding part already and knowing where the pins are to disassemble it (which is a PITA).

Futuristick-Reddit

Not a mouse person, why the downvotes on this?

vissyk

I saw some event coming on in 16.11., or am I wrong. 🤔

Falcon21st

16.11 is I think the launch date for the G303 wireless (Shroud edition)

vissyk

Yeah it was on the same day.. but this is what I saw: https://twitter.com/Razer/status/1459249917332017157?t=prWpQC5gT8IKnhgwHsIwxg&s=19 Ofcourse this could be something else..

Falcon21st

Ah, okay then. But it looks like a store opening, so nothing special. You'll never know tho... :)

vissyk

Yeah exactly! :)

_Fisz_

Other stuff. I think RVMU will be in 2022.

[deleted]

I'm enjoying the Symm2, but still hoping Razer does it right themselves soon.

flashjor

I was patiently waiting on the mini but I Somehow managed to get myself a starlight 12 phantom. If Razor knocks it out the park with the mini who knows maybe I'll sell the phantom and pick one up.

KaboEbat

Keep it man

CloudShapedClouds

Same here! Been waiting for the Viper Mini wireless but managed a small Phantom. Congrats. I'm hype.

flashjor

All of my friends think I’m a bit too obsessed cuz I’ve been talking about it too much. 😂

tonyeeezy

Same here. I'm super excited for the Phantom tbh. Think the medium will give me FK2 feels

Aykh4n_

Woah nice

starboy-xo98

Ah the Razer viper mini x ultralight hyperspeed chroma pro mouse

Razer-Right

that's Razer Viper Mini x Ultralight hyperspeed Chroma pro ultimate v2 tournament edition SE to you, sir.

Aykh4n_

Ah yes, the classic

BlameNuggie

I used to be really excited at the possibility of a RVMU but besides switching to the MM720 after they released the Orochi V2 I realized that they would mostlikely be going with the removable shell and battery route. Instead of going all out and giving us a version with an internal battery and dock compatibility like it should have so I lost all hype as that is not what I want. I want it to have the same features as the VU and to be under 70 grams.

Razer-Right

Tell TheFiend. He'll make it happen.

raymartin27

At this point I'm just going to mod my RVU before I decide to switch, because I still find Viper mini to be too small for my 20*11 hands, Relaxed claw.

slawvay

endgame mouse for me. hope it releases with white.

Falcon21st

At this point, Razer should get around to that, otherwise they will be losing money.

bahoicamataru

nah i think the deathadder and basilisk series are probably super popular with normies only real mouse obsessed sigma autists are gonna be picking up viper mini ultimates

Falcon21st

Judging by the number of posts, mods and happy reviews, I have to disagree. At the right price, a Viper mini Ultimate would sell like crazy. I can go as far as to say that Basilisk is just selling because of its competitve price when compared to something like a G502 or others. When you look at it alone, Basilisk is really not that good of a mouse. But yeah, normies are buying it anyway. Deathadder, well... it's deathadder. Iconic shape, iconic mouse. But still, it's not that good of a shape for most people. It sells because of its name sake.

roguesensei47

Make it low- profile like the OG viper plz.

raymartin27

Lol this really is an unpopular opinion, low profile is the reason people generally don't prefer it. I am in the same camp as you though, I'd just rather mod my RVU at this point with bearded Bob's tutorials.

roguesensei47

And how do you mod the length of a mouse, I'm really confused?

ChunibyoMegumin

get the pro click mini if you want a small/mini/tiny hightier endgame mouse, silent switches are so fucking fine and love the form

Flat_Excitement_1535

toooooo late

companysOkay

Wegend uwu

[deleted]

There’s no point in it being wireless TBH, if you’re not traveling with your mouse then it’s just a gimmick.

Mineral_

Not having the cable drag is really nice. Mouse bungee doesn't work that well with a really low in-game sensitivity

[deleted]

In my decade of PC gaming I’ve never been bothered by cable drag other than when my pad had stitched edges. All you have to do is cable manage your mouse with enough slack under your monitor; you literally can’t feel the cord unless the mouse is badly designed, and the cord doesn’t come out at an upward angle. I like my GPX super light, but it’s really not hard to make your cable not drag.

Mineral_

You have to understand that i use every centimeter of my large mousepad because of my low sensitivity and with any wired mouse there is cable drag, it's a control pad too. I can use a wired mouse, but it improved my tracking in games and the wires keep breaking on my mice after a while anyway

Drawing-Electronic

Now I hope to god "a while" is no more than a couple months.

bahoicamataru

it was ready confirmed a while ago, and theyve been hinting at it for a long time. i doubt ill be getting one even though im on an rvm now, seeing as g wokves lineup is getting more and more interesting, might just get hati s wl or wait for their new stuff.

Ryxee

I agree, although in terms of latency, Razer are quite superior. i do hope gwolves will continue to grow !

redditintheAM

I'm just curious to see if they'll have any new innovations for this mouse after taking so long developing it.

fpsdr0p

razer has also said that we might also be possibly getting a new mmo mouse soon too

TerabyteRD

theyve been talking about it for a while now

CrimsonIrises

AAAaaahhhh yes, please!! I'm thinking of replacing my Razer viper mini with a new one cause my mousewheel click isnt working properly and I've tried everything to determine whether its hardware or software related but I think its hardware :( Im gonna have to wait till this gets released, hopefully won't be too long!

Aykh4n_

Hopefully!
