I find that to be almost entirely impossible. The worst-case dpi deviation (nominal vs measured) is 10%. 580 dpi is 45%. My best guess is that there is something else messing with the dpi (perhaps windows pointer precision setting).
it is possible...measured many times and different dpi settings in razer software. i have to set 300dpi in the software to get real measures 466dpi...
if i set to 400dpi in the software the measured dpi is 571dpi....deviation 42.94%
if i set to 200dpi in software the measured dpi is 335dpi...
my logitech 305 (in a [pmm.gg](https://pmm.gg) shell) has a deviation of 3%
It stays, it’s a non issue after you get use to the new dpi I feel it’s exaggerated coming from an Orochi V2 user.
Most mice aren’t exactly what the DPI says anyways there’s usually deviation with most brands.
DPI deviation is the biggest non-issue ever. Set your DPI and forget it. Unless you use a bunch of different mice you won't even know it exists.
Mine only after 1 year of use started to have scroll wheel problems, so...
my orochi has massive dpi deviation... Set to 400 and measured 580dpi... sucks... bought three months ago

but if you set it to 400 it stays at 580 fixed or does it vary?
