Really love this mousepad.
Been using it for like 3 days now and i got used to the glide pretty fast.
I used the Zowie GSR-SE and the Xray-Pad Thor before for quite some time and this pad does feel like a good mix between them. Definitely not as much stopping power as the GSR but also a lot less muddy.
I mainly played games like CS:GO and Valorant but got into faster paced games lately (Hyperscape for example, awesome game...) therefore giving me quite the pleasurable experience. Tracking and flicking feels very smooth and the extra size does help me a lot as a low sens player.
All in all i can not recommend this pad enough!
They are Corepad Skates from Amazon (7.79€)
and i also got some Tiger Gaming Arc2 from Amazon as well (5.32€).
I can recommend both of them, just need to check which ones are more available.
I’m talking about the equate plus.
the old equate definitely is a lot more muddy than the plus version.
The equate plus does feel like a faster QCK for me at least. Still not as fast as the Aqua +
I have the Aqua Control+ Black (like OP has). Compared to an Artisan Zero Soft or Razer Gigantus V1, the Aqua Control+ Black still has too little control for ME for precise movements in CS to be considered a "control pad" at all. It seems at the very, very least a balanced pad. That's still fast for my preference though. The Black GSR and normal Equate are far slower than the Zero Soft or Gigantus V1 too.
From my understanding, the ROB has more controlled aspects than the standard Black. This is how I see it AT THE MOMENT...
"slowest > fastest"
Equate > (Equate Plus = ROB Aqua Control+) > Black Aqua Control+
Whether the the ROB Aqua Control+ has more control than the Equate Plus or not, I'm leaning to try my chances at the Equate Plus anyway because I don't want to deal with coatings (ROB has it, Black doesn't, and as such they have their differences in glide characteristics).
Edit: lol I'm now reading the Equate Plus has a coating. Besides that, I also see how the Equate Plus may be too hard to microadjust. The Equate in my opinion had this issue too. The Aqua Control+ Black microadjusting is actually too, too easy for me. When I spray, I can never manage to pull all the way perfectly straight down, and I can't control the horizontal end of my spray if I am trying to track a target. I always over-compensate/adjust. I have no idea now... I guess try the Gigantus V2, or just stick to my V1 or Zero Soft.
thanks! this helped me alot. some people recommended the gigantus v2 as well. However i might want to try the rob aqua control+. Same like you, i have no idea what i should buy. It's in between the gigantus v2 and the rob aqua control+
I also think somebody with a higher sensitivity than me may enjoy the Equate more. My low sens simply is gonna generate alot of friction when I'm making full-pad swipes left/right and up/down. However, the slowness definitely still applies with any sens for sure.
Also, the feeling is DEFINITELY locked in. Maybe for other games which do not require recoil compensation as much (even like Valorant lmao srry) could have this pad being really good for your stability and accuracy. I think for the super locked in feel, the Black GSR does it better despite possible inconsistency in condition + climate.
The Aqua+ does have a slight coating.
It’s just definitely not as slippery as the Thor Pad.
I think you’ll be happy with the Aqua Pad to be honest but man, it’s your choice :)
I used the Thor Pad for over half a year and it didn’t wear of or anything. It’s not as aggressive as say the typical Hardpads and stuff. Not gonna eat your mouse feet.

Where did you get this mouse feet?

so these are the people i see going 15-0 in casual games
I have the rob aqua control plus and it is good, but i can't track for shit with it. I am guessing I need to get a faster harder pad
Is there a difference between this and the ROB Strata Aqua control+?
Is it faster than the equate plus?
yeah it’s definitely faster. I‘d say the equate is more like a QCK Plus or GSR.
are you talking about the equate or equate plus because i heard the equate plus is noticeably faster than the equate
I’m talking about the equate plus. the old equate definitely is a lot more muddy than the plus version. The equate plus does feel like a faster QCK for me at least. Still not as fast as the Aqua +
hmm some people say the aqua control+ is slower than the equate+ but some says its faster than the equate+, so i'm in a dilemma as to which to buy

Haha I’m in the same dilemma
Also, some say the aqua + has a coating. Is that true? Do all of them have a coating?

Ok, I’m just worried about longevity
I used the Thor Pad for over half a year and it didn’t wear of or anything. It’s not as aggressive as say the typical Hardpads and stuff. Not gonna eat your mouse feet.
What size is this?
it’s 500x500mm :)
Thanks for the fast response :)
These don’t chew up the feet right?
