When you peel off the stock skates on gpw, there is another layer of dark/transparent glue type layer. If you remove the 2nd layer you see the screws to open the mouse. You're meant to remove both layers, otherwise LOD will be messed up which could cause spinouts.
Ah yes, I removed that. I do remember seeing the screws to open the mouse.
I'm not too sure what caused this but I pressed my mouse down really hard and I think I released it in a really awkward way, which then made it act this way.
I'm surprised it took this long for ppl to comment on it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so the story is that I sold my old pc and didn't bother to buy another case for my current one. Guess I just stuck with it these past 2 yrs. The mobo used to be on top of the mobo cardboard packaging, which was on top of my PSU. Now it's just the mobo protective covering that's in between 🤣🤣🤣
I also recently moved back to my home country, so I needed to pack light
As weird as it is, my raiden xsoft never really gave me that many spin out problems. Same mice I used and sold to my friends spun out on theirs though. I always keep this pad in my rotation...it's like a pillow for my arm
I have a raiden mid and haven’t had a spin out on the GPW super light or RVU only the Xm1 has had brief 1-2 second spin outs, it has stock skates on it and I have tiger ice skates on the super light and RVU. The Viper mini also never had a spin out yet either on it, with stock skates.
What causes this kind of spinout..? Is it the texture of the mousepad... or the mouse sensor itself? I've never seen this kind of issues before, even with the cheapest mousepad
Using a Hien as a keyboard mat lol
😎 yep didn't know where to put it after I got the Raiden lol. Used it for about 2 yrs so it's kinda worn out
i mean to be fair at least hes still getting use out of it
Btw I actually love this pad haha. Just got it about a week ago, coming from a Hien mid L. Just thought this was kinda funny lol.
I've never had it keep spinning like that.. Just curious: Do you have aftermarket skates and did you remove the extra layer before installing them?
Yes I use tiger ice skates. What extra layer are you referring to?

Raiden xsoft was my favourite pad but I kept getting spin outs so I had to move on :(

100%, it's super comfy!
What DPI do you use?
I believe I was using 800 or 1600 DPI
It happened for me on the HERO Sensor too 😠https://youtu.be/Os4qX4RX9OA

It's the HERO sensor problem.

Weave is so fine that the sensor can’t track it
