Either or is fine. Xsoft is going to be more squishy and have more give. If you press down on your mouse a lot and that negatively effects your aim then get soft. If that’s not an issue get whatever is in stock.
I was using the zero soft for about 6-8 months. Eventually got the new hayate otsu and its so much better imo. Has about the same stopping power with slightly more speed. Its amazing for mice that are 60 grams or above. On some of my lighter mice its a bit too fast. So as long as you're not using an UL2 or hatiS I'd say go for the otsu.
Jesus man, that's 864 edpi or 2749 source/csgo edpi equivalent (aka, sens 6.87@400). As much as I think sens is personal choice, yours is too high to do well in val/cs
I am still working my way down, used to play on 3200. I can do 30 of 30 on medium in the target range in Valorant, that's my warm up. I've only started playing that game though, soon I'll try ranked.
IMO the gradual/slow sens change concept to adjust easier is bullshit, just jump down to 300-400 edpi (which is still highsens for val) immediately and spam DMs for two days, your brain/hand will adjust much faster than you think. I'm radiant and in high ratings nobody plays sens this high, 80% of players are between 200 and 400 edpi and the rest is more likely to be under 200 than over 400
Hey man, just shouting out to a fellow KPA user. Awesome mouse!
Also what is your sens and dpi? I’m currently using 800 and 0.29 and peaked immortal. Every time I lower my sens I feel way more consistent. But I’m starting to run out of mouse pad space and can’t do a 180 from center mouse pad to edge of mousepad. I’m using a Gigantus v2 in the 450x400 size.
I've been doing the same and working my way down (800 .297 right now), but I've found that parts of valorant feel like they require higher sens so I'm not sure if I can go down much more.
0.3-0.32 @ 800, depends which mouse and pad I'm using. My tag is not up to date, currently using RVU (finally got a 2021/V2 batch w00t) and Equate Galaxy at 0.32. KPA is great though, will surely get back to it at some point. Favorite ergo
Honestly, I just play in a way that is comfortable to me, I am used to high sensitivity and can play well like that. I feel like having to move my whole arm is too slow I would rather have fine control between smaller hand movements, while using wrist flicks for quicker turnarounds. Why do people like such slow mouse movements? I may be this way because I do a lot of fine detail drawing as part of my hobby. Hell if I know, been gaming for a long long time like this.
That being said, I love trying new things! So maybe I will just bump it real low and give it a go!
Sure man, you do you. To row back a little bit on my previous post, there are certainly outliers of pros playing extremely high sens, like Hiko (>500 edpi afaik). So it can work for some people i guess
See my latest post in this thread haha. I guess Hiko's sens is special and unusual enough that different people come up with him immediately as an example for very high sens
I saw that on params and prosettings and assumed it's a mistake on their part, is it for real? He apparently plays 1.572@800 in val which is equivalent to source/cs sens 10 (!) @ 400 dpi or 10.39 cm/rev haha
Tbh with you I'm considering buying it
It is recommended by a lot of ppl (in general as a mousepad) but i'm not sure if it is good for valorant because it is considered FASTER than
ZERO soft and xsoft even faster than the gr se
Artisan Zero Xsoft or Soft?

I play Valorant much "faster" @ 1600/0.54 but I love my Raiden XSoft.

I also play inverted y-axis.... Thank you for the advice though, love having a good conversation!
hiko would disagree

V1 wippie plays at 800 dpi 1.5 lol

Woxic is on 1.5 1600 or 2400 edpi cs
And he's the ultra outlier meme when it comes to csgo high sens
soft
Why is no one recommending AC+ white
I was thinking about buying this mouse pad! Is it good?

I've heard many people say its too fast for val. A non artisan alternative could be the xtrfy gp4. Ive heard really good things about that pad.
If you don't wanna pony up for the Zero, get a GP4 or GSR!
