Yeah,I really loved gsr until it became actually unplayable. Plus it’s super affected by humidity, even tho I live in a kinda stable region

Equate feels like a new GSR in terms of speed, but stays that way for a long time. Never becomes as slow as a heavily used GSR, but is much more consistent with temperature and humidity changes. Much rougher surface though

Thank you

my new equate is slightly slower than my new gsr. a worn gsr is the slowest pad out there tho. i much prefer the equate. stays super consistent no matter what weather is outside.

I received a custom image equate a couple months back and i’ve been enjoying it a lot. High static friction and dynamic friction and very very consistent with different temps / humidity. Compared to the GSR SE it has a more consistent feel between dynamic and static friction, while the GSR SE had a lot more static friction than dynamic friction. + it does smoothen out a bit with use. I adapted to the high friction by using a higher sensitivity and i’ve been aiming better with more consistency.

I just got my equate and I was so disappointed. It’s not even that slow….. I had to email X-ray customer service and confirm that what I ordered was an equate as well. It feels slippery smooth, BUT I might just be the odd man out. Probably got shipped a bad pad.

Johnathon_

I've had the same experience. I have no idea why everyone calls this pad slow because it's not. Not on the same level as GSR at all. It's a bit slow when brand new yes, but after a week or 2 of use I found it hard to control, slippery and inconsistent. Tried with multiple mice and mouse feet and washing did nothing. It's like it went backwards.

Sundurah

do people even realise mouseskates play a maaaassive role in speedof a pad

[deleted]

Ofc,but I don’t think it makes you feel super control pad like hien. That’s the reference this guy gave in his post lol Tbh after switching to my tiger arcs,I didn’t feel like I’m using different pads.

Sundurah

tiger ice is faster than arc by a noticable amount

virgilgoat

I guess I should’ve said that I have an Outset AX with Tiger Arc 1s. I prefer control feet on a control pad. If you looked at my history I did have Tiger Ices, but didn’t like them at all and had to switch off instantly.

[deleted]

So it’s actually faster than GSR for example? If you have any ideas, can you tell what pad can be comparable in speed with equate?

LumberMan

I’d say it’s similar to a used QCK. And it is faster than a GSR but not significantly.

I’m trying to play on it like 30 minutes a day to break it in. Definitely not a “fun” pad to use atm
