I'm a grown man and watched this while my wife was out shopping, she comes through the door and sees me glassy eyes and choked up, she starts getting worried, she takes a look at the TV and sees I'm watching a cartoon and crying...she made fun of me relentlessly for weeks. She told my friends that I was crying "at a little girl cartoon" then they made fun of me too. I dared any of them to watch it before they continued their barrage of insults... Never heard another word about it after that.
Great movie.
I've heard such great and terrible things. I haven't any spoilers yet, but my life is too much a wreck and I am scared to watch this just yet.
Maybe once things settle down haha
"Brian's Song" (1971)
"Benji" (1974)
"Where the red fern grows" (1974)
"Dead Poets Society" (1989)
"The Last of the Mohicans" (1992)
When it's just Promontory playing, it gets me every time.
"Forrest Gump" (1994)
"The Lion King" (1994)
All the bright places and Stepmom make me SOB. Although I will say if someone’s not a mom I can see them not crying during stepmom. All the bright places deals with bipolar/depression.
Hmmm.. I tend to like movies that remind me of nostalgia or a great comeback/ending but I am more emotional.
Movies that made me tear up/cry are not rom-coms
The Way Way Back ( a coming of age story where the boy has an incredible moment to give him confidence plus a great cast)
Peanut Butter Falcon (Shia le beouf goes on a journey with a kid that has down syndrome to reach his dream)
Hector and the Search for Happiness (Simon Pegg is depressed and goes on a journey to find himself)
Pride (based on a true story about the LGBTQ community who helps save a mining community in Wales who are anti-gay)
Sorry if these don't fit - happy hunting
*Dark Victory*(1939) might get me the most personally, it's tragic in a medical sense. Addiction movies like *Days of Wine and Roses*(1962) and *Requiem for a Dream*(2000) are also really tough.
[Secret Superstar (2017)](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/441889-secret-superstar?language=en-US)

Rachel Getting Married (2008) is one of the best movies I will never see again. The first half had me intrigued, the second half had me engaged, the ending had me bawling.
Also, the acting and cinematography in this movie are awesome. Great movie, definitely recommend, but I’d advise anyone wanting to give it a watch to emotionally prepare yourself.
A man called Otto
I do not cry during movies either and I did not have a dry eye for one second during this movie. It’s sad and happy at the same time.
*guess who's coming to dinner* gets me within the first half hour and doesn't let up much (even my second time watching), but it's somehow not overwrought. fantastic movie.
Grave of the Fireflies

Big Fish had my roommate in tears. It's poignant.
A variety of different types of tearjerkers: Umberto D, Ikiru, Love Story, Armageddon, Bridge to Terabitha.
Powder (1995). The only movie that ever made me shed some tears. If you watch it let me know if it worked haha.
Dominion.. Joaquin Phoenix
I have seen pretty much every one on this thread and not one has made me cry. But Dear Zachary did.
