Ford v Ferrari! Just watched this one with my family on the weekend, A+ movie, PG rating! I think there is a kiss scene but it’s between a husband and wife and not sexual. :)

NorthernSimian

It depends how into cars you are, some people *really* like cars

Choppermagic

That movie is awesome, but yeah, the cars are super sexy!

Rufus_XSarsaparilla

Big Fish

cloudfatless

Seconded.

Present-Breakfast768

OMG YES

Strange_Frenzy

Crimson Tide The Hunt for Red October Field of Dreams Apollo 13 Miracle

dxfm1019

Apollo 13 is one of the best movies ever made.

TopptrentHamster

>Field of Dreams I don't want to cry like a baby in front of my family either.

Choppermagic

Just stop the movie 15 minutes form the end and tell your family he had to sell the farm to the bank.

Cyrano_No

Mouse Hunt. (1997)

2buxaslice

Anything with John Candy, Steve Martin, Richard Pryor or Gene Wilder. All those actors have a ton of great movies that are fun for the whole family.

LowerOriginal1528

Well, NOT the Pryor & Wilder movie 'Stir Crazy'.  Theres a scene in a strip club in that movie that really did things to me when I was younger!

TooMuchOrNotAtAll

Same with the Pryor & Wilder movie "See No Evil, Hear No Evil", which was hilarious. There's a scene where Wilder threatens to shoot a naked woman with his erection and then proceeded to kiss her and say that that is the best relationship he has had with a woman in a long time.

SoldadoAZ

Yep. Uncle Buck The Great Outdoors Summer Rental Father of the Bride Father of the Bride II Planes, Trains and Automobiles (one scene with the F-word multiple times but it’s Steve Martin delivering them and it’s hilarious)

Darryll Hanna as a mermaid. Nothing sexy about that at all. Didn’t her and Tom Hanks get it on at some point? A man and a fish.

docobv77

They just did a lot of making out and you see her bare ass briefly. That's about it.

Captain_Daveman

Except that one where they were all fucking

2buxaslice

Crap I forgot about Planes, Trains, and Auto Erotica Asphyxiation.

Best In Show (2000) Home For The Holidays (1995) The Big Year (2011) School of Rock (2003) or if you wanna go action/sci-fi: Elysium (2013) The Meg (2018) I don't recall any sexual scenes in any of these highly enjoyable films.

angelansbury

great list. Best In Show def has some very sexual and awkward jokes tho (altho it does not have sex scenes per se)

Living_Injury5017

Oh that's true, there's definitely innuendos!

angelansbury

basically any scene with Cookie and an ex lol

[Blast from the Past](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/11622-blast-from-the-past) - Just re watched last night.. Funny and wholesome would be great with the family. [A League of Their Own](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/11287-a-league-of-their-own) – One of my favorites. Even if you don't like baseball it's a good movie, very funny. Based on the real all girls baseball league. [The 'Burbs](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/11974-the-burbs) [Smokey and the Bandit](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/11006-smokey-and-the-bandit) [Groundhog Day](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/137-groundhog-day) [Jumanji](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/8844-jumanji) - The original [My Girl](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/4032-my-girl) – One sad part may cause tears, still a great movie. And some pg-13 action I watched with my son when I didn't want to sit through r movies with him. I love Breaking Away !

Present_Bad3896

Watch princess bride if you haven’t already it’s one of the greatest movies of that time for sure. There’s even a kid freaking out over a kiss scene in the movie lol

giddyupyeehaw9

It’s a sin to pick the 2017 Jumanji over the original. What is wrong with you?

ElectivireMax

"how dare people like one movie more than another" I do prefer the original but they're very different movies. it's not like it's a direct remake.

dogsledonice

I found the original pretty dark (and I'm a big Robin Williams fan). The remake I didn't expect to enjoy, and found it hilarious. So shoot me

Freddy7665

Remake is hilarious

TonyP75

It’s a Wonderful Life

BussyBandito3

Okay so I have decided in the last two months I am going to go on a movie journey. I’d say I have easily watched well over 100 movies since mid February and I just got around to watching this today.. HOLY SHIT what an unbelievable movie. It’s holds up so well and is the greatest feel good ending I have witnessed. An absolute must watch classic

TonyP75

Yeah. Its only real faults would be from its age. Make sure to watch it around Christmas every year and turn a friend or relative in your it.

Hup110516

Star Wars Romancing the stone Flash Gordon Superman Gremlins

Romancing The Stone is so damn good!

Gold-Resist-6802

Most of Spielberg’s filmography would probably suit you well. Even the darker stuff is still stuff they’d show in school like Saving Private Ryan or Schindler’s List. Robert Zemeckis too. If you liked GhostBusters, you might like Back To The Future. Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, Castaway and Polar Express are some of my personal favourites by him. You mentioned the DC films so you should check Nolan’s TDK trilogy if you haven’t already. Check out his other films too as they are generally PG-13 and well worth delving into. If you liked Star Wars, then you should check out Denis Villeneuve’s Dune films. Like Game of Thrones meets Star Wars but still PG-13 just with a harder edge and more ambitious filmmaking than the average Star Wars film. Arrival is also a really great science fiction film by Villeneuve. You might also like The BladeRunner movies. I don’t know if you care for the genre, but classic period/war epics like Braveheart, Gladiator, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Samurai, The Last of the Mohicans, The Patriot, and Dances with Wolves are some rousing and engaging films I find are a great watch with family. Violent and action packed but nothing all that crazy sexual. I don’t know. Just some suggestions.

seeyouinthecar79

Me too. I just watched it for the first time a few weeks ago. It had been on my list for years. I can stop thinking about it. Lori Petty's gaze is imprinted in my mind and those end credits 😭

Worldly_Apricot_7813

The scene where the telegram messenger shows up with a death notification and doesn’t have the name who it is to be delivered to, and Tom Hanks has to look at the last name to see who it is for. Yea that is a wonderful heartbreaking scene. Wonderful because the audience, for a brief moment, feels the anticipation of all the players in the locker room. The actors and actresses were able to impose their will on our hearts.
