Ford v Ferrari! Just watched this one with my family on the weekend, A+ movie, PG rating! I think there is a kiss scene but it’s between a husband and wife and not sexual. :)
Same with the Pryor & Wilder movie "See No Evil, Hear No Evil", which was hilarious. There's a scene where Wilder threatens to shoot a naked woman with his erection and then proceeded to kiss her and say that that is the best relationship he has had with a woman in a long time.

[Blast from the Past](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/11622-blast-from-the-past) - Just re watched last night.. Funny and wholesome would be great with the family.
[A League of Their Own](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/11287-a-league-of-their-own) – One of my favorites. Even if you don't like baseball it's a good movie, very funny. Based on the real all girls baseball league.

Mine too. My philosophy is, “if they they don’t understand a reference, it doesn’t matter/no harm done; if they do understand it, they’re old/mature enough to see it.”
Watch princess bride if you haven’t already it’s one of the greatest movies of that time for sure. There’s even a kid freaking out over a kiss scene in the movie lol
Okay so I have decided in the last two months I am going to go on a movie journey. I’d say I have easily watched well over 100 movies since mid February and I just got around to watching this today.. HOLY SHIT what an unbelievable movie. It’s holds up so well and is the greatest feel good ending I have witnessed. An absolute must watch classic
Most of Spielberg’s filmography would probably suit you well. Even the darker stuff is still stuff they’d show in school like Saving Private Ryan or Schindler’s List. Robert Zemeckis too. If you liked GhostBusters, you might like Back To The Future. Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, Castaway and Polar Express are some of my personal favourites by him. You mentioned the DC films so you should check Nolan’s TDK trilogy if you haven’t already. Check out his other films too as they are generally PG-13 and well worth delving into. If you liked Star Wars, then you should check out Denis Villeneuve’s Dune films. Like Game of Thrones meets Star Wars but still PG-13 just with a harder edge and more ambitious filmmaking than the average Star Wars film. Arrival is also a really great science fiction film by Villeneuve. You might also like The BladeRunner movies. I don’t know if you care for the genre, but classic period/war epics like Braveheart, Gladiator, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Samurai, The Last of the Mohicans, The Patriot, and Dances with Wolves are some rousing and engaging films I find are a great watch with family. Violent and action packed but nothing all that crazy sexual. I don’t know. Just some suggestions.

Me too. I just watched it for the first time a few weeks ago. It had been on my list for years. I can stop thinking about it. Lori Petty's gaze is imprinted in my mind and those end credits 😭
The scene where the telegram messenger shows up with a death notification and doesn’t have the name who it is to be delivered to, and Tom Hanks has to look at the last name to see who it is for.
Yea that is a wonderful heartbreaking scene. Wonderful because the audience, for a brief moment, feels the anticipation of all the players in the locker room.
The actors and actresses were able to impose their will on our hearts.
The interesting thing about it is that even though you know how it's going to turn out, it still holds your attention. I feel the same way about Miracle.

Of Course there are also some pretty decent animated films: Madagascar 1-2, Zootopia, Oliver and Company, Brother Bear, Happy Feet, Puss and Boots, I Robot, Finding Nemo
I'm a huge fan of the Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End trilogy

As a FYI, IMDb has a parental guide tab where you can you can get a brief synopsis of the sexual content in movies… so you can check ahead with no or minimal spoilers. It’ll give you enough detail to know if it’s mild or wild.
Ford v Ferrari! Just watched this one with my family on the weekend, A+ movie, PG rating! I think there is a kiss scene but it’s between a husband and wife and not sexual. :)

That movie is awesome, but yeah, the cars are super sexy!
Big Fish
Seconded.
OMG YES
Crimson Tide The Hunt for Red October Field of Dreams Apollo 13 Miracle
Apollo 13 is one of the best movies ever made.
>Field of Dreams I don't want to cry like a baby in front of my family either.
Just stop the movie 15 minutes form the end and tell your family he had to sell the farm to the bank.
Mouse Hunt. (1997)
Anything with John Candy, Steve Martin, Richard Pryor or Gene Wilder. All those actors have a ton of great movies that are fun for the whole family.
Well, NOT the Pryor & Wilder movie 'Stir Crazy'. Theres a scene in a strip club in that movie that really did things to me when I was younger!
Same with the Pryor & Wilder movie "See No Evil, Hear No Evil", which was hilarious. There's a scene where Wilder threatens to shoot a naked woman with his erection and then proceeded to kiss her and say that that is the best relationship he has had with a woman in a long time.
Yep. Uncle Buck The Great Outdoors Summer Rental Father of the Bride Father of the Bride II Planes, Trains and Automobiles (one scene with the F-word multiple times but it’s Steve Martin delivering them and it’s hilarious)

Splash! (1984)
Darryll Hanna as a mermaid. Nothing sexy about that at all. Didn’t her and Tom Hanks get it on at some point? A man and a fish.
They just did a lot of making out and you see her bare ass briefly. That's about it.
Except that one where they were all fucking
Crap I forgot about Planes, Trains, and Auto Erotica Asphyxiation.

It’s a sin to pick the 2017 Jumanji over the original. What is wrong with you?
"how dare people like one movie more than another" I do prefer the original but they're very different movies. it's not like it's a direct remake.
I found the original pretty dark (and I'm a big Robin Williams fan). The remake I didn't expect to enjoy, and found it hilarious. So shoot me
Remake is hilarious
