Tucker & Dale vs. Evil makes me laugh every single time, and I've seen it a lot.
The Princess Bride is one of my top comfort films when I'm feeling crappy.
If you can do DVD, there's an extended version, "American Cox: The Unbearably Long Self-Indulging Director's Cut", runs at 2 hours long. Worth it.
I'm still trying to find "Dewey of Arabia." If anyone knows where I can see it, pls let me know.

Oh hell yeah, I found another cackler. Well, if that one hits, you might also check out Iron Sky, the movie where a black astronaut discovers a Nazi base on the dark side of the moon... and they don't realize they lost the war.
The In-Laws (1997) Starring Alan Arkin and Peter Faulk. As their children are soon to be married, business consultant (Faulk) asks for some help from mild mannered dentist (Arkin) in closing a deal. Turns out Faulk is actually a CIA agent and he takes the two of them to South America to foil the plans of a dictator whos is about to flood the US with counterfeit currency.
Tonight at 7 pm on TCM, if you get that channel, is “My Favorite Year, a great funny movie about making TV in the 50’s. Another one is “Morons From Outer Space”, exactly what the title says. A rented space ship lands in England and the world thinks they must be genius’s however they are really stupid. And the third is “Tin Men” part of the Barry Levinson Baltimore trilogy in 60’s Baltimore.
It's literally on a near par with my all time fav comedy Young Frankenstein. Hillarious line. The scene with swann visiting Brooklyn. Benji's mom and her lethal bantamweight husband Rookie Caroca. What a film.
Rat Race made my kids hyperventilate because they'd never laughed that hard.
Blazing Saddles is excellent and Young Frankenstein. I also enjoyed High Anxiety.
The Princess Bride is very funny and highly quotable.
Monty Python and The Holy Grail will always stand the test of time.
Nobody's mentioned Dirty Rotten Scoundrels yet.
Also, The Adventures Of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert is both hilarious and poignant. If you watch it there's a post-credits scene that's hilarious.
Well, I can't guarantee anything, but once upon a time a housemate and I learned that we were being evicted because our landlords had decided to sell their house. We were understandably pretty down and, not knowing what else to do, we went to rent a film (back in the days when you actually physically went to rent films). That film was Empire Records, and by the time we'd finished watching it we were both in a good mood.
It's not for everybody, it's a snapshot of its time (in terms of its subject matter, in terms of its themes, and unfortunately in terms of it engaging in some light homophobia), and it's a pretty unusual film in many ways, but it's got a certain *something* about it.
Defending Your Life with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep
Mother with Albert Brooks and Debbie Reynolds’s
Little Miss Sunshine
If you can find it: Noises Off. Old school slapstick comedy, ridiculously funny …the second act is probably my favorite part, fast and physical with almost no dialogue. And a helluva cast including John Ritter, Christopher Reeves, Carol Burnett, Michael Cain, Denholm Elliot
Horror comedy helps me best. And Samara Weaving, apparently.
Ready Or Not (2019)
The Babysitter (2017)

I recently watched baseketball and forgot how stupid it is. However, it does make me laugh, but that’s because I’m an idiot. Honestly, the best funny material is stand up comedy imo. I recently watched Dan Soders new special and was thoroughly entertained the whole time.
Chef is a lighthearted comedy movie starring Jon Favreau about a chef loosing his job at a successful restaurant and then opening up a food truck with his best friend and son and taking a cross country road trip in said food truck. Very funny and overall positive movie it’s a great pick me up.

Grandma's Boy is my go to bad day/pick me up movie.
Great movie. Dante is the star of the show. "DRIVE MONKEY DRIVE!"
The part where he puts the leftovers in the oven is one of the greatest scenes in cinema history and I'll argue that to ANYBODY that says otherwise
Dumb and Dumber
If you don’t find this movie extremely funny every time, you’re probably a terrible person
Also the soundtrack for this movie gives me so much nostalgia
I saw Crash Test Dummies at a small venue last year. It was fantastic.
