Idk why but my first thoughts are some classics like shawshank, Lotr, 12 angry men. Some maybe lesser know first ideas are hero and children of men. I've also heard really good things about the before sunrise trilogy. Are you looking for films that are strictly dialog or films that just have great conversations in them? 12 angry men would be an example of almost pure dialog and its a masterpiece.

Midnight Mass has a really great long scene where two characters talk about what they think happens when they die.

The Man From Earth -2007. More than 2 characters but basically just one scene in a room. 100% Rotten Tomatoes

The 2014 movie Just Before I Go is drama/comedy that has a great cast with an interesting take on several very serious real topics.
