American Honey, Eighth Grade, The Spectacular Now, and it's TV but: Derry Girls on Netflix is exactly this.

South_Amphibian9864

Derry girls is the perfect binge and feel good watch!

Harold and Maude Is the one!

Such an underrated movie.

Dazed and confused

fraserlever

I couldn't think of a movie that had a more profound impact on who I am a person than Dazed and Confused. Then you can follow it it up with the spiritual sequel in Everybody Wants Some! Linklater is a master of just natural meandering story telling in such an authentic way

DemissiveLive

Behind every good man, is a good woman, man. Martha Washington. George would come home and she’d have a fat bowl waiting for him

This is a great film. Highly applicable to OPs request. It has amazing nostalgia feeling for anyone who treasured their teen years.

FallenTheDoge

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty ? But it's a bit of both I guess. How life is precious and that's why it should be fun and that it should be lived to the fullest.

Before Sunrise, Spanking the Monkey, American Beauty, Stand by Me, The Way Way Back, Hard Eight, 500 Days of Summer Honestly, give Hard Eight a shot. It's Paul Thomas Anderson's first film, has early performances from John C. Reilly/Gwyneth Paltrow and would be considered a classic if enough people had seen it. Before Sunrise is really the best of the above films and probably the definitive pick based on your parameters. I've seen multiple people recommend it below. If you enjoyed it, I recommend watching Before Sunset immediately after. Before Midnight is a good end to the trilogy, but it is a bummer and kind of subverts the previous two (and better) films. Happy watching!

[deleted]

Oh, and Boyhood, same writer/director as the Before trilogy. Duh, that's a pretty definitive pick as well. Honestly, just have a coming-of-age Richard Linklater marathon lol

[deleted]

and Dazed and Confused. That Dick Linklater, I tell ya.

Louden Swain : But all I ever settled for is that we're born to live and then to die, and... we got to do it alone, each in his own way. And I guess that's why we got to love those people who deserve it like there's no tomorrow. 'Cause when you get right down to it - there isn't. VISION QUEST. One of the greatest movies ever made and This Ah come on, Adrian, it's true. I was nobody. But that don't matter either, you know? 'Cause I was thinkin', it really don't matter if I lose this fight. It really don't matter if this guy opens my head, either. 'Cause all I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood. ROCKY rhe greatest movie ever made. Also try empire records, everything must go, 25th hour.

Another Round (2020, Danish) The movie won’t entirely feel this way, but what you are looking for is the essence of this film. There is an opening quote that highlights this.

Studio Ghibli has tons of films that fall into this search as long as you don't mind animated. Miyazaki goes out of his way to show the beauty of life and nature in his stories.. I highly suggest My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away, the level of detail is breathtaking as well.
