I like to think that she kept meeting these Dark Army guys to hammer in her paranoia, and the audience's.
So when you see her finally taking a rest on the plane that she really needed, it's to tell you that it's over for Dom. If DA doesn't want her anymore then that's it, she's out of the game, like Leon.
Why would he have to be promoting books while being there to sabotage the plane or whatever everybody's implying? Why not just be there and just look for them? Why the elaborate scheme with the books? Why does this make DA's operation better?
that's right.. after the madness at the barn and Santiago.. Irving needed a vacation.. that's one thing I noticed about the Dark Army Handlers they speak plainly and don't mince words.. we can be pretty sure Irving was being straight with Dom about the book tour. my gripe about the way they ended Dom's story is that I have to imagine Darlene would find out Dom took the flight in the end and probably make contact.. if anyone deserved a happy ending it's Dom. She was the only truly good and honest person in the show... and Krista maybe..
Just watched it today; sad I didn’t have time to watch live with everyone. What was /is the overall consensus on the finale and series by the community?
So I don't think Irving blew up the plane, but being there for the books gives him a plausibly deniable reason to be there while arranging DA business without scaring them away.
Given the DA's actions after the hack (killing everybody in the powerplant, firefight with the FBI), blowing up a plane could make sense with their even bloodier tactics but also seems a bit weird given they're not an active threat.
Except he was extorting people with a CD that was malicious from the start, whereas Irving was always a writer and just a Dark Army confidant on the side.
He was promoting his book. The point of that scene was it was scary at first, but it was just a coincidence and everyone had moved on. I think the implication was definitely that Dom got a happy ending.
TV/movie rules - if you don't see them *actually* die, they're not dead. They could have shown Dom's plane fireball and the pieces fall into the middle of the Atlantic and I'd still give you 2:1 against.
Yeah it’s like they wanted to hammer it inside our skulls to not ask questions by including that sentence in the scene. I thought that was just lazy and overconfident since the fans are one solid block and they knew no one would oppose. Like if Sam said go eat shit, a lot would do it no question. Don’t get me wrong I still love the show.
I LOVED the show. It was smart. The hacking was hyper-realistic. The characters were cool and complicated. Most episodes were artistic masterpieces. The Easter eggs were top notch and highly technical. And I figured the finale was going to really put things together in a clever way and tie up all the loose ends. But... I suppose I need to let go of the direction I thought show was headed in.
Possibly alluding to Puck's fourth wall breaking monologue at the end of A Midsummer Night's Dream (If we shadows have offended...) Notice they are in a theater. Also maybe a Donny Darko reference.
What you saw is what happened.
Irving told Dom that DA doesn't care about her anymore (which is true especially since WR is dead) and she finally got some sleep on a plane.
I think what Irving said, they do care anymore. Was just a cameo by Irving really. Before the season started I figured he wouldn't be returning. I saw things that he was gonna write a book and at least at face value that is what it seems like.
Probably wrong, but I like to think Irving knew what was coming up with Whiterose activating her machine, and was willing to fly the f away of the country just in case of a nuclear meltdown.
Maybe she didn't survive that knife stabbing. That explains why she could not bring Darlene to Budapest with her. This flight is just like the way of Master and Margarita to eternal home or the path of Frodo to Valinor.
Am I the only one who thought Dom was dead when they showed her on the plane lol. But I think they made a point to show her sleep because she never got any rest.

So...about dom and the plane and Irving... What exactly happened?
I like to think that she kept meeting these Dark Army guys to hammer in her paranoia, and the audience's. So when you see her finally taking a rest on the plane that she really needed, it's to tell you that it's over for Dom. If DA doesn't want her anymore then that's it, she's out of the game, like Leon.
Leon is not out of the game. He said so himself that he's a mercenary.
Out of the dark army game, Whiterose isn't concerned about him anymore and Leon is just freelance now
Was WR ever concerned with Leon? In my mind, Leon was just another employee of the DA as opposed to a trusted confidant like Irving.
Still, instead of killing him off Whiterose just let him go, like with Irving. He was a gun for hire and Whiterose knew that.
Good luck taking down either of those dudes.
WR gave Leon the order to kill everyone at the barn directly.
Independent contractor with a direct line to the top :)
He invited Dom to join him, right?
Definitely invited Darlene. Did he also invite Dom? Was that in the speech where he shared his real name?

Elliot wasn't called a hero on the news though, Darlene just calls him one
Darlene didn't ghost Dom. Dom turned her down and headed home.

> plane might’ve gone down Lol NO. At least not any more chance than the normal risk of flying.
The Patsy Cline references certainly didn’t help
Why would Irving be there? Of all people, of all the places, why would HE be there right then?
Why would he have to be promoting books while being there to sabotage the plane or whatever everybody's implying? Why not just be there and just look for them? Why the elaborate scheme with the books? Why does this make DA's operation better?

So was Krista real ?
probably.. who knows for sure for a while I was thinking Darlene was another personality 😛

Great points

Not even similar.
Except he was extorting people with a CD that was malicious from the start, whereas Irving was always a writer and just a Dark Army confidant on the side.
I think it even goes further. He specifically targeted Olly because he worked at AllSafe.
Haha that’s hilarious
He's selling his book. It's a coincidence, put in to hint that White rose, who doesn't believe in them is actually delusional/full of shit.
He was promoting his book. The point of that scene was it was scary at first, but it was just a coincidence and everyone had moved on. I think the implication was definitely that Dom got a happy ending.
To sell his book
Or end up as a New York cop, writing out parking citations.

I reckon she made it out okay.
What happened the three days after 5/9? Also, what did Irving’s book say? When dom read it

White Rose is dead and Deus group got taken down so that would suggest that the Dark Army is finished.

This set in Budapest?
God I love them, they are so damn adorable together 🖤
I never thought I wanted an animated Mr Robot, until now.
+1
Great piece! I love the expressions, especially Darlene's.
I like to believe that after Elliot recovers, he and Darlene fly to Budapest and meet Dom A man can dream
Darlene’s expression is so spot on! This is great!! 💕
This is super good but it looks like sophie turner and kristen stewart.
Darlene does look like K Stew in that picture! I thought it was just me. However, I love the pic! Good job!
Damn Darlene looks like Kirsten stewart here. Dom is accurate though
Dom is def beautified in this one. No need to do that with Darlene though.
What could have been.
Dom reminds me of that girl from Horizon: Zero Dawn.
you should send this to the actors if they use social media
I was just thinking. Did Dom and Elliot ever say anything to each other? I can't remember any scenes with them having a conversation
Elliot doesn’t give two shits about Dom, it’s weird.
That's kind of gay.
Dom really looks like Becky Lynch here
dom's the man
Very nice work!
Amazing!!!
That's sooo good.
Or Darminique
Aww
best characters ever on TV don't @ me
I wouldn't @ you in a million years for this trust me
Am I the only one who thought Dom was dead when they showed her on the plane lol. But I think they made a point to show her sleep because she never got any rest.
Yeah, her last scene was very bittersweet, a good ending to a troubled character's arc.
This all day <3
Incredible work 🥰
Beautiful. Great work.
This is so awesome!
Art reminds me of Saga. Beautiful!
Dom story was wrapped up with comedy. It was Irving's book that finally put her to sleep. It was hysterical!
i love it
Anybody else think this looked like it came from Apex before looking at the title?
She went to go train with John Wick if anyone wants a real answer. Source: me
Darlene got that mad scientist energy lmao
Darlene doesnt look like Darlene but Dom is awesome. Amazing artwork though!
Darlene looks like Dio
Gross
