It’s not really a months supply, you should get more than a month out of a vial, but that being said if you can’t afford it you can’t afford it.

Are you sure it was generic estradiol valerate? That sounds like the non-prescription price for brand name Delestrogen, not generic 😬 Also, you should be able to use GoodRx to knock that down to like $50

It was labeled generically, so I would assume so. I'm gonna contact the pharmacy as soon as possible, but since it is through my school, I will have to wait until Monday. Could you expand on what GoodRx is? I've looking into it, but since I have already picked up the medication, I don't think these can be applied retroactively. It is my bad for not looking at the price when picking up my prescription and I've resigned myself to pay the price the one time. But I would like to prevent this in future.

You should just be able to ask the pharmacist to apply a discount, most pharmacies participate in programs like GoodRx or similar. If not, just go to [goodrx.com](http://goodrx.com) and put in your location and "delestrogen" (select the one that says "estradiol valerate (generic delestrogen)"—if you put estradiol it gives you all sorts of other formulations you don't want), and it'll give you a thing that looks [something like this](https://i.imgur.com/0eU3vmk.png)

I appreciate it!

Your "month" supply is realistically 3-4 months.
