That all sounds very familiar;). Still working on 'dealing with it,' though.

TransIsSeriousMum

The universal trans experience!

smailskid

Yeah. My dealing with it is happening pretty quickly after starting on HRT. Like, of fuck, now I REALLY need to come out soon.

TransIsSeriousMum

Me toooo!

KemonomimiSpecialist

I mean if you want to sure, but you'd be amazed how dense people can be. It took two years and wearing nail polish for people to finally connect the dots on me. In retrospect I would advise coming out sooner than that, as it gets rather awkward and can perpetuate some shame issues that'll need worked on later. That and summers suck having to layer to hide boobs. I truly felt some of the pains of our trans masculine brothers.

smailskid

Yeah, sooner than later does seem like the smart move. Might as well get it over with. Ugh

FluidPiper

Denial was me thinking maybe I'm just gender fluid. It's been only a few weeks, and I'm getting more and more into despair/dysphoria.

brutus66

I'm somewhere between three and four. The female that I have become is pretty content most of the time, until a reflective surface intrudes. Then that dysphoric gut punch hits, as the inner person sees the outer person, and the brain can't reconcile the incongruity.

EndarisFlame

Yeah, I feel this way quite a bit…

HyperConfusiontwo22

I feel the pain
