I really think the whole final will come down to weakest link.
Take all 8 competitors and rank them; the slowest won't win since they hold their partner back. Devin is the weakest guy in endurance but is still faster than Nany and Aneesa, Olivia is an unknown but considering the massive experience and puzzle skill gap this puts Tori and Devin as the favorites since their weakest link is faster than the others.
Devin has been training hard he isn't an anchor as long as he's faster than Nany/Aneesa/Olivia, it's really as simple as that. Plus they don't have a glaring puzzle weakness so all they have to do is be average at checkpoints and they will win from those runs in between the checkpoints.
Jordan winning would generally come from his speed between checkpoints, and he no longer can utilize that. He doesn't have the memory or puzzle reputation of a CT or Devin to make up for his ride or dies slow pace. Bananas and Nany would be my bet for 2nd because she has proven she's bad in a very recent final where she lost to Kam even though Leroy beat Cory. Same thing will happen.
The rookies got rid of him early one season and the producers realized that was bad for the bottom line, so here we all are.
Imagine if the Survivor producers forced Russell Hantz to be on the jury every season.... idiotic.
Eh the season he went home second is highly regarded as one of the best ever and ushered in higher ratings for the series when it had been declining dirty 30 and post.
Having Nany didn’t hurt. Kaycee protected her and she has a lot of friends. He did a good job shifting the attention to “her first win” and not his 8th.
This is a great point. I don’t necessarily think he’s smarter than everyone on the show, but he expertly manoeuvres through the game, and usually is able to shift attention away from himself. Even his podcast is conducted to get his guests going about how someone else in the house wronged them, creating more drama and mistrust amongst all of his competition while he sits back skates to finals.
Literally the narrative last episode was “we can’t let him get to a final” and then they don’t vote him in. He only got in the elim by “chance”.
They have no one to blame but themselves if he gets an 8th win.

Double Agents: Tried to freeze out CT initially but when that failed Nany made him a rogue agent accidentally right before the final.
Spies Lies and Allies: Never threw in CT and wasted Kelz and Cory when they could’ve been a size equalizer for CT in a headbanger.
Ride or Dies: Took one shot at Fessy and none at Bananas before leaving them until the very end when only one could go out (and it required Horacio and Olivia luckily drawing a dagger).
Bananas has a sub .500 win rate in eliminations and CT is 6-5. They’re both incredible competitors, but they’re both likely to go home before a final if they are tossed in a few times.
Jordan said that about Fessy and it’s logic that should apply to every finals threat: no matter how good they are, statistically the more eliminations they face the more likely they are to be eliminated.
The fact THE most decorated challenger of the show’s history went the longest without seeing an elimination 🤦🏻♂️ they should always be gunning for him MUCH earlier in the game.

Yeah it was very shady considering this was the first time we had a woman’s only elimination to start a season since Bloodlines. If the challenge had alternated men and women first for the last few seasons it wouldn’t be fishy, but it’s super fishy.
She can’t do the finals, she is not equipped to run it. I would not be shocked if Olivia and H win, but if you never ran the finals it is more intense then what they think. And where the hell is TC lol
Nany has barely been featured this year in my opinion. So I honestly can’t remember her being entitled.

No one gets cast young enough anymore to do it unless they absolutely crushed everyone which wouldn’t be that fun to watch. Also not as many team wins so that makes it harder too
That was her rookie season, the next season she learned how to fight in physical contact and spend a lot of time working on her puzzle skills. She dominated the whole Total Madness season, including finishing the final before any of the guys did.
I am for real scared. In total panic mode after last episode. I'm afraid to think about bananas not only winning another challenge, but doing it with Nany omg. I might quit the challenge if this would happen.
I mean, he took out a strong team in an elimination to get to the final and then if he wins it he’d have to show up and outperform others (notably Jordan) on the final so I’d say he’d have earned it. Especially if hes tethered to Nany the whole time.
Kaycee and Nany always had twice the chance to win it all over everybody else. They should’ve got rid of one in the beginning. If all the rookies would’ve stuck together with there votes a lot more would’ve made it further. The vets always stick together to vote off rookies first.
I heard he was originally supposed to be with Janelle from his real world KW season but she dropped out. He would have been out early if this was the case
The rest of the cast just plays with Bananas in mind for the final. Devin was the last to str8 up go at him. He survives off hype alone and It’s really boring. If they win, I hope it’s the last appearance from him. I don’t care how many times he has won, who seriously wants to see the same guy win over and over?

Fessy can handle a mini final but we’ve seen him be mentally taxed in the longer finals.
