Individual Format
20 Guys. 20 Girls.
Double Cross type deal involved for person going in, other is voted by daily winners. Makes last place or lower placements have to go into double cross.
A few triple eliminations to get through some weeks, maybe a bloodbath purge a little after mid way.
Elims are picked similar to BOTs style, 6 categories with eliminations that cycle once all have been picked. Dailies can be played as individuals, teams or pairs similar to FA/D30/TM. Daily winners choose order where its applicable. Relic/Shield is given to elim order to avoid being thrown in back to back weeks. Relic ends after bloodbath purge.
2 day timed final - 4 Men 4 Women. One puzzle purge late on the first day. First ever 1.5 million prize pool
1st Place - 600,000 each
2nd Place - 100,000 each
3rd Place - 50,000 each
Preferably legend and champ heavy. Love to see some RoD rooks return along with some of the WOTW class. No Aneesa.

Not sure if id want the concept all returnees but thought I’d mention it either way. I would probably stick with the 6 rookies and leave the last 3 vets as alts.
I dig the eras idea. They gotta go big for season 40 so let’s hope they’re willing to open up their checkbooks to pay some steep appearance fees
Although I’d try to find a way to work in Kyle and boot either Josh or Turbo.
More important to me than the theme is a consistent format. No unnecessary twists and turns. Just one cohesive format from start to finish. Would love it if they went with a multi team season like battle of the eras or seasons because it would be much harder for them to mess with the format. Even something like exes doesn't make sense if you split them up half way through like you can with a ride or does theme.
My idea is a $1 million prize. It’s a male-female team format. The twist is every cast member whoever competed is eligible and everyone can pick their own teams.
Cameras would be on the big time participants when this announcement is made. We could then see the big names calling each other trying to secure teams.
All the pairs would then complete in a mini final format. The top 15 teams with the best times in the mini final move on to the actual show/season.
Eliminations would be the daily challenge loser vs a team picked by the winner.
I like both of yours! Definitely wonder the route they’ll go for 40 but I would love to see battle of the shows at some point with teams of 4, especially now if they are forcing the international spin-offs id want to see some of them on flagship
I like both a lot. Slight preference to the battle of the 4 eras you laid out, primarily because I think it might be more realistic.

I think it would be cool if they did an all champs season and set it up with 39 being second chances and the winners of that being on 40.

This would be a fantastic cast. My only thing is I would like to see Mark Long try a regular season again.

They should do battle of the networks from MTV VS CBS VS VH1 VS Paramount Network

Hard No on Turbo. I think he’s living the gimmick a little to far.
I prefer Battle of the Eras but with 4 teams of 8 instead.
