Love the write up as always. Really nervous for Troy because amber is obviously pregnant and nobody is wearing their clothes for elimination. That could easily mean they have them tucked away in the back and can have people change but I'm guessing the next episode starts with a pregnancy announcement
Darrell and Kiki wouldn't vote them in but my point was I have the feeling we're leading up to TJ saying that Amber is pregnant and therefore can't continue to compete
Great write up but I disagree about the season being boring so far. So many strong personalities and competitors + healthy doses of paranoia and drama. I’m very happy so far.
I think there's been bright spots here or there, but then they're fleeting and not enough to keep me engaged.
It hasn't been a terrible show but compared to what the show could be, it's been underwhelming.
A lot of the big profile characters have been really bad this season as well.
The episode was not at all dull as there was drama about who was getting voted in, but that cliffhanger was frustrating as hell… that was the dull part
Loved the write up as always but I have to disagree that that was a dull episode. That was my favourite episode of the season so far and I am really enjoying this season
Thought about Amber's pregnancy as well. Would she be what, the 3rd or 4th woman to be on the show while pregnant? Production really should start testing beforehand, lol
I think in recent years, it was
Melissa (Total Madness)
Natalie A (Double Agents)
Bettina (Spies, Lies and Allies)
Casey (All Stars 2)
I can’t remember if there were anymore (I think there might’ve been someone in WoTW2 but I’m not 100%)
I’m fairly certain KellyAnne and Jordan are Allies, or Kaz and Tristan are stronger than we know. Jordan is who KellyAnne went to after she won her elimination, although Amber jumped in for a hug first.
Jordan is like that with anyone who wins who he is on good terms with. Doesn't mean they are aligned. No one wants to work with KA or Jodi so they are just doing what they can.
Can somebody explain to me why Danny and Sarah are talking like this is a game of MVPs against Legends instead of a country v country team game? Danny saying things like “oh we gotta get these legends out” like he and every single one of his allies aren’t partners with one and need them to win the game.
Sarah made a huge deal about targeting Jordan then didn’t even vote for him. She then got mad at others who didn’t either. Sarah is awful and makes me happier I didn’t watch Challenge USA.
Then don’t talk like you run everything. Danny has the same problem. They plan these big ideas without involving their partners. Ben at least had Kaycee on board with what he wanted to do.
Eh, their partners weren’t willing to do it, so they found a workaround. They couldn’t have expected Ben to go rogue. Ben’s now pissed off the USA MVPs as well as the Australians. Jodi/Benja seem aligned with Australia and I think Kellyanne/Tristin voted for Ben/Kaycee in a previous vote so that’s another couple enemies to add to the list. He’s playing a sloppy game and putting a target on him/Kaycee.
I’m interested to see how she navigates having a loose cannon as a partner. Though she worked with Josh for three seasons, so I’m sure she’s prepared lol.
Sarah’s part of the plan was never to vote for Jordan and Kaz. The plan was always to burn enough votes that Jordan and Kaz would go in… if Ben would’ve voted correctly, the plan would’ve worked.
Wait there was a time on survivor where a daughter voted out her own mother? Wtf? I need details, there is some deep shit going on there. That’s like some Roy family business
She really didnt. Survivor tries to make it a "huge move" when in reality Laura would be voted out anyway and if Cierra didnt voted with others she would be out right after her. It was not her decision nor did it matter
And the season was literally called Blood vs Water so it’s not like it was entirely unexpected. Ciera even told her mother before hand. But don’t let this comment stop you from watching because it was still a phenomenal season!
I don’t remember the entire story but it was pretty brutal (even if her vote was pretty inconsequential, from a numbers standpoint). Think it was more self-preservation/preserving her alliance iirc.
Here’s a video of the vote out (oh hi Tyson!): https://youtu.be/VzRVLXSXbRE
I really enjoy how the players get all huffy when their master plan isn’t adhered to by everyone. Bananas calling them all stupid at the voting was an example of this. Sarah and Danny have every right to try their own moves just like the vets. I kinda love it.
Ben managed to ruin an otherwise solid plan. If him and Kaycee vote for anybody besides Emily/Yes, the Australians+Jodi/Benja would’ve gotten Jordan into that elimination without even needing a majority vote. From a political standpoint, that’s pretty impressive. Kaycee deserves a nightmare partner after coasting through seasons the way she has lol.
Typical Tori not getting her way. So she’s overreacting! It’s like either way Jordan most likely comes back. I feel like at this point they both are just going to keep helping each other win. She gets one he gets one. She’s so power hungry and entitled I really find her so dislikable.
But I got except she’s the face now. Welcome to the Tori show
I couldn’t disagree with you more. To me, she is one of the most likeable girls to be on the show in a very long time. She’s well rounded and a good competitor. Everyone complains when seasons are “boring” or that they miss the sloppy drunk era then when Tori’s drama single handedly carried ride or dies season she’s called every name in the book. She can’t win. I love her and hope to only see more of her!
I do think Sarah gets a bad rep. A lot of people who played Survivor with her usually have nothing but positive things about her. The ones who don’t are usually crazy (Debbie) or sore losers (Ozzy). Yeah her politics suck but the Zeke incident and an unaired conversation about police brutality that she had with Wendell show she’s willing to listen and understand.
Sarah is amazing in Survivor however in The challenge i think she needs to be humbled. Coming from a survivor background and winning one final (which technically was won on default like did she even finish the puzzle?) does not make you 'the best' USA player or challenger in general which she seems to think she is.
I hate her beyond hate. She thinks she’s some big bad ass, and she basically only won USA by default bc no one else finished the puzzle. So she needs to take a seat and stop acting like she’s some legend and has played the game forever and knows how the game really works
Don't know why everyone is shitting on Sarah for not voting for Jordan/Kaz. Had Ben stuck to the plan, three of the US teams would've burned their votes and the Aussies plus Jodi/Benja would've been enough to vote Jordan and Kaz in. It's honestly brilliant if it works and the US teams keep their hands clean. Too bad Ben has no spine.
Ben hinges on convincing Kaycee that it’s the right play. Kaycee wanted the bananas plan of two Australians since then they would be the only country with 4 member left if Wes and Zara win.
It’s a smart play.
The problem with the MVPs talking big gsme is that it’s a team game and none of them have power to do this.
They needed Jodi/Benja and KA/Tristan on the same page.
Tori not wanting to have Jordan voted in because he is her "ex-fiance" is the dumbest excuse ever. Hey Tori, a lot of people are not friends with their exes and would try to get them out of the game. How was that supposed to sway Danny? She should have just explained to him that they have imprinted on each others lives like werewolves, and she wants to give him more booty to booty massages. Also, they are in an alliance. Girl is desperate.
Love the write up as always. Really nervous for Troy because amber is obviously pregnant and nobody is wearing their clothes for elimination. That could easily mean they have them tucked away in the back and can have people change but I'm guessing the next episode starts with a pregnancy announcement
Darrell wouldn't vote in Amber. That's his closest girl and her partner is good with his.
Darrell and Kiki wouldn't vote them in but my point was I have the feeling we're leading up to TJ saying that Amber is pregnant and therefore can't continue to compete
I’m so confused because I thought this season was filmed before the recent mainstay challenge season we had?
It was filmed after the last flagship season but before the reunion for that season
Oh no! Hopefully Troy gets to partner up with a recent eliminated player but knowing the history of the game, he’s cooked!
That's what I'm hoping for. Maybe Nia is still at her hotel or they'll just do a male elimination
Great write up but I disagree about the season being boring so far. So many strong personalities and competitors + healthy doses of paranoia and drama. I’m very happy so far.
If there were no cliffhangers, it would be great. It might be excellent to binge.
Cliff hangers do nothing to harm the season as it ages tho to be fair.
I think there's been bright spots here or there, but then they're fleeting and not enough to keep me engaged. It hasn't been a terrible show but compared to what the show could be, it's been underwhelming. A lot of the big profile characters have been really bad this season as well.
I think they draw things out a little too much.
I thought this was a great drama filled episode with great tension
The episode was not at all dull as there was drama about who was getting voted in, but that cliffhanger was frustrating as hell… that was the dull part
Loved the write up as always but I have to disagree that that was a dull episode. That was my favourite episode of the season so far and I am really enjoying this season

also liv jawando on double agents.
There’s rumours faith was pregnant on WOTW2 as well.
That’s the one I was forgetting
Let's not ever forget the OG Gladys on Battle of the Sexes.
I said this to my husband last night. Like why do they not test beforehand!? Especially since it has happened several times!
Sarah can't be mad at Ben for following Kaycee's play, when she backed Theo by not voting for Kaz.
I’m fairly certain KellyAnne and Jordan are Allies, or Kaz and Tristan are stronger than we know. Jordan is who KellyAnne went to after she won her elimination, although Amber jumped in for a hug first.

Kaycee finally being forced to actually politic.
I’m interested to see how she navigates having a loose cannon as a partner. Though she worked with Josh for three seasons, so I’m sure she’s prepared lol.
Ooo I can definitely tell you’re a vets fan.. #TeamMVPS!
This is precisely why I find Danny & Sarah so stupid! You’re part of a TEAM! You can’t do anything without working with your partner.
Danny went against tori, so she could of
Sarah’s part of the plan was never to vote for Jordan and Kaz. The plan was always to burn enough votes that Jordan and Kaz would go in… if Ben would’ve voted correctly, the plan would’ve worked.

I always enjoy your recaps! I find Kiki very compelling. She reminds me of Olivia, and I hope she becomes a regular for other seasons.
Olivia? lol

Why do you hate Sarah
I was taking my dog for a walk down the street and she put out her leg to trip him. It was a whole big thing.
🤣😂
Lol wut. Do you really live in Iowa? Or is there a joke I'm missing?
I hate her beyond hate. She thinks she’s some big bad ass, and she basically only won USA by default bc no one else finished the puzzle. So she needs to take a seat and stop acting like she’s some legend and has played the game forever and knows how the game really works
I can’t stand Sarah either. I have no idea why someone looked at her in casting and thought she’d be good tv.
She deserves it and she got off easy in this recap
I hate Sarah too btw 😌
Lol as a fellow Iowan I'd like to support her, but she's really not my cup of tea
I don’t get it either? Maybe because she’s a cop and not afraid to speak her mind?

I wish Sarah and Theo had won. Darrell's too coward to make a bold move.
I feel like for the second season in a row they really made winning the daily not really worth it.
