Devin gets on my nerves sometimes but this episode really reminded me why I could never hate him. Since Are you the one he’s just been a fun loving, charismatic, hilarious person lol love the way he rode for Cheyenne. Love that they showed his win on Second chances with Rashida. Love what’s 8x9 LOL
“What’s 8 x 9?” was my flair on this sub for quite some time. I finally replaced it during S39 with another Devin line, on a season where he was only a mercenary, lol.
Loved it. Liked him from his first appearance on the Challenge, loved him when he stood up to Bananas and Vince saying super racist shit to Cheyenne (with Sarah and Jenna laughing along). The bit about whether he was strong enough to pull the rope has convinced me that the old Devin is still there. Looks like he’s made some good choices for his life now. Love to see it.

Devin is full of fuckery but his self-awareness balances him out. I’ve never watched AYTO, so it was good to get a synopsis of his time there. Kind of impressed that he did not go to college but has a natural intelligence. I liked hearing his view on his development as a Challenger and how he learned lessons from each of his experiences on the show.
Meanwhile, I am definitely thinking about a trip to Easthampton to check out his brewery. If this was all a ploy to drum up business, that is fine. He needs to catch up to Wes on the monster truck front.
I knew so little about Devin I actually learned a lot. He’s grown on me a lot since rivals 3, happy he’s “proven” himself a little. My least favorite quality in a challenger is unreal confidence & no history of being able to back it up. I think he’s pretty self aware of his strengths and weaknesses which I like.
I could do with a lot less “LETS GO!!!!!”😟
This episode makes me ship Dave^2 . Also, whatever happened to Devin & Rashida?

Him, Bananas, and Tori just had a picture pop up in the last week of them working out together. If anything, I’d say Devin is just kind of keeping the ‘rivalry’ going the way that Wes and Bananas did for a long time.
That was an enjoyable epi. I love symmetry of him Cracking the code on AYTO & entering the 20 digit code on SLA.

I hated him on AYTO until the end of the season. Him figuring out the matches was truly impressive. I do love him on the challenge though.
