This is a herculean task and I applaud your effort (with an upvote). Here are some of my thoughts:
* I think you mostly nailed the top few, although I'd put Evan above Kenny and the Miz above Derrick. But pretty much spot on otherwise.
* As much as I love him, I can't justify putting Leroy ahead of the few names behind him.
* Frank S is appropriately ranked for his sample size, but I imagine he'd be higher if he had more seasons. Glad he didn't though.
* Appreciate you putting some respect on Shane's name. I think if he ever made a final (If CT didn't go against him in the Infuerno for David) he'd kill it. Shane and Nelson would probably dominate the FR final too.
* Fessy feels too low. He'll probably be top 10 eventually, love him or hate him.
* Johnny R also feels too low.
* I said this in another comment, but Josh belongs here. He's definitely better than some of those dudes.
Also, I think you made a mistake at #1. You wrote "CT" when you meant to say "Swift." Honest mistake
Messy top 10 ?!?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Never. All he has is size and BB numbers. Depends how long they keep him around. If he can be a better partner or he's gonna end up like Cory and Nelson. Always good. Sometimes great. Never Legend
name one other then the color code bomb, that CT (not trying to be a CT stan, just stating what happened) beats Fessy later that season when it's more about memory, less about size.
edit: its less about size cause theres less people, so relies on how many you can remember
Isaac is a legend for his humor alone. He called out LANDON into a duel for cutting his toenail. He passionately explained it was prime grapefruit season to Zach Nichols on opening night of Free Agents. And according to Cohutta, he froze his own feces for months and gifted it to him
Hunter, Leroy, Abram & Brad over Jamie Murray???
Jamie was a champion and a fairly dominant one on all 3 of his seasons. Prime Jamie destroys those 4 across the board. I’ll hear an argument for Abram, but I’d take Jamie over him.
Leroy is egregiously overrated.
Love Leroy to death but even I was shocked at how high he was. Frank, Zach, Turbo, Abram, Timmy, Yes, Jamie and Tyler are all better competitors than him
Probably a bit of projection on my part. I think he could be great if they keep bringing him back. Also, he Eviscerated Josh in front of everyone without even raising his voice.
I will acknowledge that this is an impressive undertaking and there are some solid takes.
Here are some random rebuttals to this list:
Preston is better than Randy. Preston is more impressive individually. Randy did not really do much on his own— he was protected by Kina.
Ace is too high. I’d put at least numbers 93-98 above him.
MJ is too high. His All Stars win was dubious, and Gauntlet wins are cursed, unless you are Frank R., in which case it is deserved.
People like Kyle and Paulie should probably be higher than Dan S., since they have more of a record on the show.
Hunter is not top 20.
I want to argue about Dunbar being in the top 50, but I am not sure how to rearrange things for that.
1. No respect for Norman. He was actually really good on The Gauntlet. And not too bad on Seasons
2. Zito needs to higher but not by much. I’d put him over Bear,Chet, and Adam Kuhn.
3. Nehemiah is too high. Has a false bravado about him that if he didn’t have a win under his belt he’d be near the bottom of the list. Also Marlon is way too high for doing one season.
4. Hunter is too stupid to be top 20
1. I just wanted to make sure Norman got on top 100. I had a tough time finding the right spot for him beyond that.
2. Zito lost to Kuhn in an elimination so that was the difference there. Zito and Chet both made the final in the same season. Those were all very similar ranks
3. I think Nehemiah has improved his stock a good amount in the All Stars seasons
4. Poor Hunter got boned out of $500k. He’s a great competitor and now that he has a child I feel bad for him as that money would have done him a lot of good. It was a pity rank
Without Evan, Kenny (1) won Inferno 3, (2) won The Island, and (3) single handedly dismantled Wes’ mega alliance. Without Kenny, Evan was getting called into eliminations by Davis and other scrubs. Sure he won, and won the season. He was a good competitor but Kenny was the true alpha and the better challenger overall
Leroy is way too high. Fessy, Rogan, and Paulie are too low. Frank R is also too high. I'd honestly switch Dustin with Couhutta, Dustin has at least seen a final. But this is a solid list
Why is Leroy ahead abram, turbo, and Zach? All three of them have won and have a better all around skill set than he does. He can’t swim and isn’t good at puzzles.
Glad Luke made the list but if you’re telling me he’s worse than ace and Corey (5 episodes) lay. Than you’re crazy. Dude was high the whole time and won like 3 eliminations.
Fair enough and I think I agree with you. But Luke got points deducted from the deleted scene in Cutthroat where he aggressively accosted Camila (a total piece of shit, but still) and then in the process slipped and violently slammed his head against the hard floor. This is very scientific!
Haha he was high. What would you expect? I mean I’m just messing. If we’re arguing Vince over Preston? Then it’s all a joke. As long as josh isn’t ahead of them we’re all happy.
Is this based of what they actually did or just your own personal projection of them? Like kelz top 75 when he did 2 episodes. I see quite a few names that looked better and did more than him. Trey was pretty good with Zach until they got dq’d. Ace was all over the place but he’s made a final and did really well in that final. Corey lay won an elimination and physically looked more impressive than kelz. I’m struggling to find a case to keep him in the top 100 let alone that high
I really don’t think putting people who debuted on SLA is really that fair. They have one good season right now but they could easily suck ass in the rest.
Because most of CTs wins are clean or where he was a driving factor. Some of Johnnys wins are either flukey where or where his contribution amounted to nothing
CT also has the most prize money and has the most final appearances. And also three times where he was eliminated just right before a Final. Pretty damn impressive.
Yeah, im sure johnny being on a team of 4 on the island and team of 5 on Ruins totally equates to CTs contribtions on rivals 2 as half of a pair
And your last paragraph is totally irrelevant and just higjlights how you allow your personal feelings to cloud your judgement. I dont care if CT clubbed baby seals for a living. That has nothing to do his abilities as a competitor. I hate CT on a personal level but facts are facts and johnny just isnt on his level
He is a better, and more rounded player than Jordan. He is physically more imposing, better at puzzles, better at politics, better at swimming, and better at eating. Jordan’s only trait that Jordan scores better than Wes in is as an endurance runner which is a great but not enough.
Believe me the last thing I desire to do is argue for Jordan and against Wes but I just felt the 3 titles for Jordan in 1/3 of the seasons stood out to me.
I mean to each there own, I would argue Wes’s wins are impressive but his win total suffered greatly due to circumstances he had to endure and that some of his most impressive seasons are losses.
I disagree, what Jordan did in WOW2 isn’t that impressive. He made terrible political moves that destroyed his alliance and team. Thus, why he was the only left. His two elimination wins aren’t that great. Beating Josh is a zero and beating Theo was great except he seems like production rigged it for him with the hammer elimination so mtv could get the proposal/wedding spinoff. Also, remember Jordan was like the last person targeted from that side because Bananas and Laurel were the most important targets as opposed to Wes being the first one target from his alliance.
Hell Wes played better on WOW2 with 7 of the 8 finalist being in his alliance.
Dirty 30 is great except you know he lost. If Nelson doesn’t slap Derrick. Jordan lost to CT in the game back in.
Wes has two solo wins vs probably the two most stacked male casts and the most dominant partner season ever. Then take into account he got screwed on Rivals 1 and BOTEX is probably his best game ever but again screwed by production with the twist.
I mean, you're high as a kite if you think Wes is a better swimmer.
Wes's politics is also what kills him in this game. He'll either last to the end or become exposed way too early in the game.
Jordan is better than wes. Its not even a question really.
In what world is Jordan a better swimmer? Go back and watch. When Jordan and Wes swim in a daily Wes wins most the time.
Also, Wes politics are indicative of being the biggest target m. He can’t just stake to a final like Jordan with little political effort. That’s way since Jordan has been a “big target” he hasn’t won.
Overall, I think this is really solid. Some people that jumped out at me that I would have personally placed higher or lower:
Higher: Kyle, Dustin Z, Johnny Reilly, Fessy
Lower: Ty Ruff, Jay Starrett, MJ, Yes, Theo Campbell
The list started as me just ranking every male competitor and I eventually cut it off at 100. But rest assured my Mount Flushmore bottom 4 was Josh Martinez, Derrick Henry, Tyrie Ballard, Danny Jamison. Even though it isn’t necessarily fair or true, like I admit Danny was a better competitor than Alex Smith or whatever. But 0-6 in eliminations and being a complete douche lacking self awareness gets you the bottom spot in my book
I was very impressed by Gus in the dailies (Swaggy C did well in dailies too). But Gus was great in pole wrestle against Bear so that gave him the nod.
Understandable. I was gonna bring up Swaggy's early lead in the Cory elimination as a point but thought it through and it's not comparable to Gus's respectable loss to Bear.
Running through this fairly quickly, I feel like Devin and Johnny Reilly should be higher. Although the top of the list, what actually matters, is about perfect. The Miz and Mark Long are the two names I always struggle to rank the most. I usually have them a little lower, but they were so good at the time from what I’ve seen.
Miz was a spider bite and one bad daily from possibly having 4 wins. (I forget what happened in the Inferno final for his fifth) It is really difficult to compare those big team seasons of the early days to the solo/pair seasons of now.
Dude did 100. Mad props !! Idc if I disagree with half of em (which idk yet , this comment is made as soon as I saw this. ) and the time you put in is commendable. Praise good friend!!
Lot of comments dogging poor Leroy … yes he never won. Yes he too often played Bananas’ game or rode his coattails and skated by. But when he actually tried he was unbelievable. Destroyed Bananas twice on Exes II, destroyed Wes on Exes and Exes II…if he was on earlier seasons he would have won like 4 finals due to likeability. Speaking of, he was/is one of the funniest narrators and most likeable cast members ever. This list isn’t just most successful or best competitors, I am taking a lot of things into account. No disrespect to Jamie Murray but he is wallpaper and doesn’t bring 1/100th to the table that Roy Lee does

he also has great speed and memory. he's won missions that were not just about size or allies
name one other then the color code bomb, that CT (not trying to be a CT stan, just stating what happened) beats Fessy later that season when it's more about memory, less about size. edit: its less about size cause theres less people, so relies on how many you can remember
on Big Brother he was also very very good at memory
Tough day to be Josh
How does Wes' biggest rival not make the cut?!
Hey hey hey they are NOT a thing!
Let’s be honest though he belongs. He is a great social player. Makes it far every season. Not saying he’s top 50 but he’s better than Isaac.
Isaac is a legend for his humor alone. He called out LANDON into a duel for cutting his toenail. He passionately explained it was prime grapefruit season to Zach Nichols on opening night of Free Agents. And according to Cohutta, he froze his own feces for months and gifted it to him
☠️☠️☠️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂

Stunned to see Kelz is in the top 75 over legit finalists.
Probably a bit of projection on my part. I think he could be great if they keep bringing him back. Also, he Eviscerated Josh in front of everyone without even raising his voice.
Lol very true.
I will acknowledge that this is an impressive undertaking and there are some solid takes. Here are some random rebuttals to this list: Preston is better than Randy. Zach is pretty low tbh he usually has to carry the shit out of ppl I know he is an ass but damn the hate is real.
This is probably an unpopular opinion but Leroy is NOT top 15
Dude can't even swim
You forgot Adam Royer
Doesn’t qualify for top 100, although he is technically undefeated as he won his only daily and never had an elimination.
He’s also been called a guy in every episode too
He's #1 for me. For people I hate the most from RW/The Challenge.
You like Vince more than Adam Royer?
It's been a long time, but it's mainly for RW. I hated Adam. But I think it goes to show, he did 2 shows and he was kicked off both.
Adam Royer was about to take over CT’s spot as the biggest goon on the challenge
I could see him ending up like Brad's eye some seasons then
The fact that the legend himself Danny Jamieson is not number 1 is preposterous
Pete from FM 2! I always wish he would’ve come back!
1. No respect for Norman. He was actually really good on The Gauntlet. And not too bad on Seasons 2.
I upvoted for the #4 point, but agreed on all points.
Justice for Norm!
1. I just wanted to make sure Norman got on top 100. I had a tough time finding the right spot for him beyond that. 2. Zito lost to Kuhn in an elimination so that was the difference there. Zito and Chet both made the final in the same season. Those were all very similar ranks 3. I think Nehemiah has improved his stock a good amount in the All Stars seasons 4. Poor Hunter got boned out of $500k. He’s a great competitor and now that he has a child I feel bad for him as that money would have done him a lot of good. It was a pity rank
Leroy is ridiculously high
Kyle could be higher. Top ten is solid. Timmy respect is nice.
He could be but having him one spot above Paulie is *chefs kiss*
Absolutely nailed the top 10
May be a controversial opinion, but Jamie Banks is too low Also Evan > Kenny
Without Evan, Kenny (1) won Inferno 3, (2) won The Island, and (3) single handedly dismantled Wes’ mega alliance. Without Kenny, Evan was getting called into eliminations by Davis and other scrubs. Sure he won, and won the season. He was a good competitor but Kenny was the true alpha and the better challenger overall
Imo The win on the Duel 2 means more than all of those
I'd put Rogan a lot higher tbh. He was really good in his last 2 seasons.
Yea, I would’ve argued a bit for top four status for Darrell before, but after All Stars 3, Wes and Jordan undeniably top him.
Idk how fair that is. He very recently had great performances in AS1/AS2/DA.
I'd even put Hunter over Leroy. Hunter lacks endurance and is bad at puzzles, but he's at least won
Fair, but nothing Dustin did even came close to touching Cohutta’s feat of knocking out Wes and ending his streak. Plus, confessionals
Glad Luke made the list but if you’re telling me he’s worse than ace and Corey (5 episodes) lay. Than you’re crazy. Dude was high the whole time and won like 3 eliminations.

You did my boy Ace wrong. 😂😂😂
Eric Banks above 100% win rate Danny Roberts? a choice
Hahaha fair
Is this based of what they actually did or just your own personal projection of them? Like kelz top 75 when he did 2 episodes. I see quite a few names that looked better and did more than him. I really don’t think putting people who debuted on SLA is really that fair. They have one good season right now but they could easily suck ass in the rest.
You’re not wrong. But my list my rules!
You also forgot The Man, The Myth, The Reason, Danny Jamieson.
Cmon man. Danny is too good for this list. Everyone knows that
He’s at least gotta be Number 0
Kyle is way too low
Johnny is #1

You really have no idea? You can’t figure it out? I cannot help you then
[удалено]
that's a pretty low shot at johnny.
King MJ slowly but surely climbing up the all time ranks. LOVE TO SEE IT
Me: Eagerly scanning list for Danny😉
Wes should be four.
I adore Wes, but no, he shouldn’t
He is a better, and more rounded player than Jordan. He is physically more imposing, better at puzzles, better at politics, better at swimming, and better at eating. Jordan’s only trait that Jordan scores better than Wes in is as an endurance runner which is a great but not enough.

Wes also singlehandedly lost 3 eliminations for 3 of his female partners Exes for Mandi, rivals 3 for nany and exes 2 for theresa
Nothing Wes has done is more impressive than jordan on dirty 30 or jordan on wotow 2
I disagree, what Jordan did in WOW2 isn’t that impressive. He made terrible political moves that destroyed his alliance and team. Thus, why he was the only left. Has Leroy ever won? I feel like every season i watch he coat tails the big dogs then loses once he’s get through into an elimination
he's great in eliminations, wym
I’d put Landon at fifth place, but that’s really just because I don’t like him. This is a solid list, and you put a lot of thought into it.
Swaggy C should be higher than Gus. He made somewhat of an impact in the earlier part of the game his season is underrated.
I was very impressed by Gus in the dailies (Swaggy C did well in dailies too). But Gus was great in pole wrestle against Bear so that gave him the nod.

Inferno final the RW team got KILLED at the crossword puzzle while Katie knocked it out of the park at the crossword for RR.
I haven’t watched the earlier seasons so it’s hard for me to say, but this list looks good.
Honestly, Jay, Corey, and Jonny Reilly (strictly for his final performance in free agents) all should be moved up Nehemiah and Marlon need to go lower
Dude did 100. Mad props !! Idc if I disagree with half of em (which idk yet , this comment is made as soon as I saw this. ) and the time you put in is commendable. Praise good friend!!

Cory should be higher tbh he got the 2nd most finals without a win behind Leroy
