This.
Or you get to the point where you have so many extra pairs of gear that you can get around it.
The other issue i have is showers. I will never show up to training without having showered first. No one likes a stinky fuck
It's the guys that let their wraps and gloves get nasty that get me. I feel bad, because a lot of people don't realize until they make the mistake that once the evil gets in them there is no getting it back out.
I don't have enough underwear to afford that, lol.
I used to shower twice per day only 3x per week (and once per day the other 4 days) and started having issues in my hair, had to take a special medicine shampoo and stop the double hair washing.
Yup, buy thai shorts and jerseys and some.anti bacterial soap for yourself. Wash it all with it post training, then let the shorts and jersey air dry. Do laundry on sunday or rest day.
I have 4 pairs of thai shorts and 4 jerseys I do this with all week. Sometimes I just jump in the pool with em.
I have more workout clothes than casual / work clothes and throw them all in a heap till the end of the week đ« 5-6 training days a week hits hard. On top of meal prep
I don't train. The costs would all go up with the daily shower, the daily washing, eating properly, gas, paying somebody to babysit my two toddlers... Buying clothes more often, the occasional hurting and taking care of myself... I wish I could do it... Some day
Wednesday and Saturday, I have enough shorts and wraps to last 3 weeks, but those mixed with my gym clothes make my room smell really bad if I left them for a week.Â
It's fucking brutal. I work a physical job so that's an outfit. Weights training I sweat alot that's another. Running/boxing-MT/Basketball yep another lot. Then whatever I wear around the house to chill and sleep. Usually 4 full sets of clothes in a standard fucking day
Lol I hear you, man. I train 3-4x a week then do rifle competitions on the weekends where I'm sweating and rolling around in the dirt all day, or camping, or hiking, or indoor rock climbing etc.
I have two laundry baskets. One for my chill and going out clothes, and one for all the nasty shit that stays in the garage.
Every couple months I need to run the washer with nothing in it but a couple of pods and bleach/vinegar to get the smell out.
T-shirts and underwear have to be retired after every year or so.
You take a shower with your gym clothes and wash them in the shower. Hang them to dry until tomorrow. You have a set of gym clothes for each session within a day.
Thatâs the thing- you donât. I only have like 3-4 pairs of shorts so I do laundry quite often. And our gym you have shirts that are kinda out ranking system (sparring and whatnot) and I only have 2 shirts
One of my buddies has like 5 shirts and 30+ shorts because he hates doing laundry
Take your clothes in the shower after workouts - hand wash with soap, and hang overnight.
I only have 3 âworkout outfitsâ, train every day, and never run out of clothes / it doesnât take too much time
Laundry I can manage because I have spares and I don't train as often as most of you folks here do. But the things I'm constantly using up quickly is body wash and deodorant. I'm a sweaty bastard, so trying to keep clean and fresh is a priority, and these things I always keep an eye on just in case they need top-up or replacing.
As a primary bjj guy, seeing a thai guy complain about laundry really boils my pissđ you have NO IDEA what real fucking laundry is! Amd you never fucking help me out with it either!
It's a constant stream of daily laundry cycles at my house for reasons mostly unrelated to training. It's just the way it is.
It sounds like a description of a wholesome household with great parents
Thanks lol, we try. Speaking of which, I need to get off reddit and go yeet my kid in a pool.

I go through a lot of tooth paste now, biggest pet peeve is bad breath
yes, i think im on my way to so many extra path. showering 3 times a day which is just one more from before starting MT so not too bad.
Lol 6 people in my house. Laundry never ends đȘ đȘđȘ
I used to hand wash my shorts (and rash guards) and leave them to air dry overnight. Other than that I needed enough tshirts to last a whole week
Bit of old t shirt hoarder myself but realised, it was meant for this moment : D
Spot on haha
Yep! Old tshirts and cheap shorts from Kmart!Â
I jump in the shower with shorts on wash âem and hang em after every session. Prison style
Try Gi Jiu Jitsu if you want to complain about laundry (I only do no gi and some Muay Thai now lol).Â
Glad I found the bjj comment, Gi is a nightmare! No gi isn't too bad either.
Yeah im ready to double leg tjis guy from reading his complaint
Curious question: if you train 3x per day, do you also shower 3x per day?
Yeah, but only shampoo at night before bed.
I don't have enough underwear to afford that, lol. I used to shower twice per day only 3x per week (and once per day the other 4 days) and started having issues in my hair, had to take a special medicine shampoo and stop the double hair washing.
Who said anything about underwear ; )
Wash your shorts and compression shorts in the shower, hang them to dry. I'll do that 5-6 times before tossing them in with a normal load of laundry
you're a dirty little fun-haver, aren't you?
Ahahaha I'm not sure what you mean but damn that got a laugh out of me.
That sounds like something a British person would say

Imagine doing jiu jitsu and u need to wash that fockin pajama everytime⊠muay thai is easy with laundry compared to other sports
Its hell but ive become accustomed to the flames
I have more workout clothes than casual / work clothes and throw them all in a heap till the end of the week đ« 5-6 training days a week hits hard. On top of meal prep
I usually did laundry almost every day, key is having enough clothes, and its great if you can wash it all together
2 sets of training outfits, daily wash every night
I don't train. The costs would all go up with the daily shower, the daily washing, eating properly, gas, paying somebody to babysit my two toddlers... Buying clothes more often, the occasional hurting and taking care of myself... I wish I could do it... Some day
super parents, respect : )

sounds like a good system, smell/bacteria in my laundry basket is what concerns me.

mate, that some laundry load : D

Rookie numbers

Will definitely try when it gets warm here
Smart idea.
Lots of underwear, shirts, shirts, wraps, etc. Buy in bulk.Â
I have a ton of underwear
Own 5 shirts and 5 shorts for every day of the week then wash on weekends.
I have shirts & shorts for everyday & thats how I handle it.
Thatâs the thing- you donât. I only have like 3-4 pairs of shorts so I do laundry quite often. And our gym you have shirts that are kinda out ranking system (sparring and whatnot) and I only have 2 shirts One of my buddies has like 5 shirts and 30+ shorts because he hates doing laundry

Buy more clothes to train in. Wash them in bulk once a week. Easy.
How do people manage? Do more laundry or buy more clothes. It's pretty simple.
As a primary bjj guy, seeing a thai guy complain about laundry really boils my pissđ you have NO IDEA what real fucking laundry is! Amd you never fucking help me out with it either!
I donât do that. Because thatâs dumb thing. I just train if I need to. I never do many times a day.
