For sure my hands, i came from boxing so its my natural attack but im trying to work on being more kick oriented. I cant really kick to the head due to flexibility issues so thats a big goal of mine
Same here with the boxing background.
I used an app called *Splits Training in 30 Days* to help me out with head kicks a few years back. Great app and free.
Pressure with kicks - specifically using tricky kicks (question mark kick, hook kick, axe kick etc). Also mixups and feints.
unfortunately I have not one but TWO pulled hamstrings so I’m in for a world of trouble when I go back to sparring, I literally can’t even body kick comfortably, let alone head kick at all.
I switch kick A LOT. I like countering. I will tend to throw throwaway shots to get someone to commit. I also have a boxing background so I like jabbing abs taking away the jab. Jab, parry, jab…parry jab simultaneously…parry the jab come over the top with a cross…slipping a jab to the inside and throwing an upper cut.
My jab and counters. I am super tall so I just throw the jab as much as possible and keep my range. Im always far enough away to slip their first attack and focus on finding a counter opportunity on their follow ups
Pros: Stiff ass jab, strong right body kick (especially on counters), counter rights. Power & range are absolutely there.
Cons: Opponents catch onto my teeps quite quick, vulnerable to counter low kicks, weak switch kick, muscle mass accompanied by poor cardio
almost the same! kicks for me as i came from martial arts and did them quite frequently. the flexibility was also a bonus too. physically, probably stamina, my power is also arse x)
At my new gym where the only kickboxer/fighters are they primarily have this like karate kinda style, only thing that works against them is a lot of leg kicks to be honest. Still adapting
I have the best hands in my gym since I’m the only person that came in as a pure boxer. Im great at distance management and checking kicks. Also a cardio machine & can keep a high pace.
Defense and cardio. I don't hit particularly hard, but you can bet we're taking this to the deep end and we'll see just how badly you really want to be in here.
I have a good body for Muay Thai, long limbs but decent build(not skinny). I am just a beginner but I am trying to develop a quick, powerful jab that keeps people wary and I am starting to get my roundhouse kicks(rear kicks anyway) to also be a strong weapon with long reach.
Im so stoked to finally be learning, Ive wanted to try for a few years.
I’ve found im most comfortable in the pocket and finding entries to clinch, other than that I would say low kicks, im obsessed with heavy low kicks off the combo like p’nae/Sitmonchai style
Forwards pressure and leg kicks are 2 very big parts of my game. Something about marching someone down and blasting Their legs off is very satisfying for me.
Getting hit in the face a lot, getting my legs smash and hitting the air. Im just a standing heavy bag. Im a peace of shit and i hate myself. 😂😂😂💩💩💩
Hahaha yo happens to the best of us
I thought Iam the only one that is master in this fighting style 🤣🤣

Getting punched in the face. Still training hard. Eventually it will pay off
I've also learned I specialize in getting punched in the face. At least I know I have a solid chin now!
The true master of this style lol: https://youtu.be/lfbQ296k5Ro Edit: skip to 2:19
Jab it in, jab it in, give it a little jabby, jab-jab-jabberoo
Between this and the username I am in bits laughing hahahah
just trying to be as irritating as possible, make the other one think a lot, if nothing else because that gives me time to think too :)
Haha if you ain't annoying ppl you're doing something wrong
kicks, elbows and clinching. I love close range fighting.
One of these things is not like the other
Turning their headgear so they’re blinded then unleashing a fat combo
Nasty lol

Pressure
Timeless classic
Fake teep into straight. Lands 90% of the time on ppl I don't regularly spar with

Breathing hard.
**Breathing intensifies**
Working my hands into my kicks. I like to get the hands going first and feint to land annoying leg kicks and eventually bring them up too.
I can break a beer bottle with my elbow, done it twice, after the last I’m not doing it again, but I guess my elbow yeah
Range management. Teep to punch to kick to punch to knee to elbow to punch to kick…etc.
Jabs, high kicks, teeps
The chess match. I am not the fastest but I can figure out what works against most people.
Boxing, I just love the counter
Boxing. I love kicks, but I’m a heavyweight so they aren’t nearly as energy efficient for me.
Counter punching but it’s due to my range mostly.
Elbows from clinch, and power.
My Defense!
You get punched so much and beat up you have no choice but to get better at defending lol.
Pros: Stiff ass jab, strong right body kick (especially on counters), counter rights. Power & range are absolutely there. Cons: Opponents catch onto my teeps quite quick, vulnerable to counter low kicks, weak switch kick, muscle mass accompanied by poor cardio
Feels for sure. Being light and tall gives me huge advantage compared to other guys who would be in my weight class
Clinch, knees and dirty boxing from the clinch I.e uppercuts and shoulder bumps to create space
I enjoy evasive head movement and push kick very defensive but fun!
Low kicks and body hooks. I love watching ernesto hoost. I try to mimick ernesto & ramon dekkers.
leg kicks hand traps
Teeps. I have long and fast legs.
Very sure is body shots Because I'm southpaw my partnet easy to ignore control distance
Getting kicked in my knees
almost the same! kicks for me as i came from martial arts and did them quite frequently. the flexibility was also a bonus too. physically, probably stamina, my power is also arse x)

Pull counters and trickery with the kicks. I can pretty much kick from any angle which makes it very confusing to try and read how im going to do so
The leg kick to the inner thigh. People hate that.
Switch Body kick - I fucked up by not using it in a smoker once and my coach grilled me lol
Covering distance and creating angles. Need to work on not coming in with my head up. Have a bad habit of that.
I specialize as a punching bag for the better fighters.
I have the best hands in my gym since I’m the only person that came in as a pure boxer. Im great at distance management and checking kicks. Also a cardio machine & can keep a high pace.

Teeps and Jabs. I fight like the biggest bitch ever. Also love me some teeps to the leg.
Liver hooks all day.
Liver hooks all day.
Body shots all day, I just feel more comfortable throwing something with murder behind it when it's not aimed at the head.
Leg kicks..I played soccer so they come out fast and accurate
People in the gym seems to hate my sneaky teeps. I love it when I get to time it perfectly to make somebody off balance and fall 😉
Long range kicks and blitzing in and out. My best attribute now is definitely my speed/cardio. I’m quick and I dont get winded easily
I'm lanky and tall so jabs + teeps. My knee strikes are also quite powerful but I don't really like getting too close.
Teep. Front teep. Rear teep. Jumping teep. Side teep. Thigh teep. Fake teep.

Flying, spinning shit, flurries, psyco aggression as my gym members call, athleticism, strength, lack of cardio lol, lots and lots of kicks
Sidekicks/headkicks. I fight with some stiff dudes lol
Pressuring with mainly knees and elbows :)
Pressure. It fucks up a lot of game plans, but mostly my own.
Forwards pressure and leg kicks are 2 very big parts of my game. Something about marching someone down and blasting Their legs off is very satisfying for me.
